On one hand I get that the push to move out is driven by like, nuclear family values etc, but like also 90% of ppl I meet who are unhappy would have most of their problems fixed by simply no longer living w their parents. It's made me very pro moving out. If you're feeling stiffled, controlled, or constantly anxious, I think you should start working on moving tf out.

Accepting identities I don't understand is actually extremely easy because I just go "this isn't about me" and move on with my life unbothered by someone else's identity, it's truly that simple.

Unsure how to articulate this but the past few years have really revealed the unsustainable toll of being both expected to be constantly tapped into the global news cycle, and yet expected to operate in daily life as if unaffected by it, forcing desensitization by removing any time to process or grieve with school and work continuing
