The stylist’s fluffin’ her hair like it’s a damn marshmallow. I swear, if they fluff it any more, she’ll float away like a balloon.

Meanwhile, I’m stuck here, readin’ a trashy magazine. ‘10 Ways to Get Your Ex Back’—like I need that rubbish.

If this keeps up, I’ll storm outta here, grab a pint, and start a bar brawl. ‘Course, I’ll blame it on the hair appointment. ‘Sorry, lads, but me girl’s highlights were takin’ the piss.’

But no, I’ll sit tight. Be patient. Maybe even crack a smile when she walks out lookin’ like a million bucks.”

(I like to think Butcher would hate something as mundane as a hair appointment. Yet deep down he actually loves it because when it’s over he can’t help but notice how happy and beautiful you look)
