hi!! um i saw that you’re moving blogs, may i ask why? and are you gonna deactivate??

aghh sorry i just saw this ask <//3

it’s not that big of a deal tbh hehe i just wanted to start fresh bc this blog was becoming so messy. i was thinking about it for a while and decided to rant on this post, which was what made me finalize my decision. the interactions on this blog is still really good though, so i mainly moved just to have a clean new blog hehe.

honestly i love this blog so much and i don’t hate my writing on it, so i’m not gonna deactivate. i’ve compiled all the works i’ve written on here in a single masterlist for easy access, because some people still come here and find my works, and i don’t feel the need to delete them!

BAD LIAR.

The realisation hits Atsumu like cold water in his face—except it actually is ice cold water being splashed in his face.

Now his shirt is damp and his date is storming out the double glass doors, grumbling (probably about what an asshole he was) under her breath. Flashes go off around him and he’s sure a few people in the bustling cafe have already started recording back when she begun raising her voice at him.

He doesn’t blame her though, he knows he deserves it. Who screws up so badly by calling their date by their ex’s name? More specifically, your name. This always happens—everytime he thinks he can get over you, everytime he tries to even date someone else, he goes and does something that ruins it. He’s beginning to think it’s self-sabotage at this point. But why? Didn’t he want to get over you?

turning your heel to meet with your boyfriend’s best friend with your boyfriend trailing behind him with him digging into his sports bag. oikawa made grabby hands towards you with a large grin plastered on his face which you replicated.

he is about to wrap his arms around you, “ you’re so grown now— “ but was pulled away before you two even made contact and you looked towards iwaizumi who was holding him away from you.

“ i’m going to get the first hug, trashykawa. “ he scoffed at his pouting best friend before leaning down to meet with you, muttering as he connected his lips with yours, “ happy birthday, baby. “

locking lips with your boyfriend while he granted you an embrace but one of his hands was off from your form so you pulled away. the hand that wasn’t touching you was preoccupied with a small white box then smiled, “ mom got this for you, oh she also said happy birthday. “

opening the box to reveal a small round cake decorated to greet you a happy birthday and your chest clenched at the cute gesture from his mother. staring at the cake with pure admiration, you took it into your hands, “ i’ll call her and thank her when i have a break. “

iwaizumi dipped his finger onto the icing then plopped it into his mouth, watching you pout for ruining the cake, “ don’t give me that look. “ he chuckled, you continued to glare and he leaned over to place a chaste kiss onto your pout, “ anyways, after practice we’ll go get dinner and you’ll get your gift then. “

agreeing with his planning, oikawa rolled his eyes, “ now can i get my hug? “ you and iwaizumi both narrowed your eyes towards him before announcing in unison,

“ no. “

you received a large whine from the setter.

the two of you were sitting across from each other, he didn’t give you a clue to where you’d go but just a hint that he had given to you before he left to practice and you went to get dressed home,

you did as told and iwaizumi had shown up to your front door with black dress pants and a white collared dress shirt with the first three buttons unbuttoned. so now that had led you two to now sitting at a restaurant with dark lighting but the interior was honestly so fancy that you even couldn’t believe he planned this place for you.

sipping onto your water to wash down the food as he dabbed his lips with the napkin. he felt your gaze bore onto him that he averted his eyes onto yours, “ what are you up to..? “ wasn't trusting you with the sweet smile you wore.

you rolled your eyes at his comment then leaned into your palm, reaching for his hand across the table to which he took and you shook your head, “ i just think you’re really sweet for doing this for me. “

then he chuckled, his stern features weren’t in sight and instead they were so soft for you. he dug into his pocket with his free hand as you watched keenly. iwaizumi then slipped a silver ring onto your left hand specifically on your ring finger.

your cheeks warmed up at the sight of the shiny rock glistening with the lighting that was barely visible in the darkened restaurant. “ hajime.. “ you whispered, you didn’t even trust your own voice as you tried to comprehend what he had given you.

the ace lifted your hand up to his lips to kiss the ring on your finger, “ i just wanted to promise you that one day, this will be replaced with a ring that declares my love for you. forever. “

your eyes watered at the gesture, not being able to keep an eye between the ring and your boyfriend across from you. you took both of his hands and he leaned over to place a soft kiss onto your lips, “ happy birthday, baby. “
