After all the sinners I drew, it was high time I drew an angel. Will Adam even stay one? I don't know- but here he is, as, ironically, the King of Pentacles.

As usual, some explanations for the choice of card under the cut!

Upright, the King of Pentacles is a provider; he uses his ambition and confidence to create wealth for himself, and generates his self-worth from what he has accumulated in his life. He is a winner, you could say, having won the lottery of life and enjoying himselft in the after life. But he also is a guiding figure for those around him, like Adam seems to be for the exorcists under his orders. The King is a confident person: he knows he'll succeed in all he will try to achieve, especially related to his work (which, true, can lead him to be a tad overconfident. Would be a shame if he got stabbed in the chest, then punched into oblivion, then stabbed to death by a filthy janitor). The figure can be approach to King Midas, turning everything he touches into gold- but, careful of what you wish for, as your dream could easily turn into a curse. Either way, he has nothing left to proove: he achieve the highest situation he could have dreamed of, and no longer has to struggle to achieve his desires. Ideally, he should now be enjoying his well-deserved life up in heaven, enjoy all that was accomplished. Even more, the King should remember that he will only remain successful as long as he takes methodical, well-thought-out approach to the matters presenting themselves to him. He should not take anymore risks. Like, really, no. Come on, Adam.

Reversed, the card encourages you to look at the relationship you have with your situation. You may not be treating what you have with respect, or has a winning situation; you might be lacking self-discipline (like, really); or you might be putting all you achieve above anything else, negatively impacting your relationship and well-being. For example, you might let all your life revolve around your work as leader of the exorcist army, and neglect other parts of your life that might bring you actual joy. You are obsessed with you status, dismissing people you dim "below" you, feeling the need to brag about what you accomplished and your own self-worth. At time, the King of Pentacles can also represent someone who is very stubborn and rigid in his approach, and doesn't accept different opinions.

I mean. Hell is forever, right, end of the line.

Next in line: Enjolras!

The proudest I've been of an Enjolras portrait so far; the previous tradi ones didn't exactly hit the nail I was aiming my metaphorical hammer at. This one, however, is by far my favourite. I loosely took inspiration, once again, from Greek statues (Themis in particular, yall probably guessed why) for some of his features ;)

The second card according to last week's poll- Husker, our dear old cat man, as The Hermit! It's also the eleventh card for the Hazbin/Helluva fandom. Which is- the most consistent I ever been in drawing for a fandom? Hurray!

The next one, Adam, is already decided- but I'm planning to do two more cards before maybe, eventually, taking a break. So, before we go under the cut for the explanations for the choice of card...

Back to the grumpy old man!

The Hermit Upright is a card strongly linked to self-discovery and inner wisdom. It invites you to retreat into your private world and experience a deep sense of instrospection- a journey you have to do alone, to find you inner guiding light, and choose the next steps you'll have to take.

It might seem strange to chose Husk to represent it- but as much as his character seems stand-offish and disgruntled, he does strick me as someone who has done a lot of self-reflecting, and is able to see each other characters' situations with a clarity that no one else, in the show, seems capable of. He is aware of who he is, of what mistakes he make: this is a man who knows himself, and who finds wisdom in his own flaws.

And much as the Hermit of the card, he's a man who walked on this path alone (thinking that no one could relate- prefering the quiet and the solitude to the company) until he reached the point when he was ready to let others in, albeit in a small, careful way. Finding, despite himself, a place in the small group of the hotel, and a soulmate in Angel.

But the Hermit card often appears when you are at a pivotal point in your life, and maybe considering a new direction. Would that be, for example... redemption? Now, Husker is not quite there yet- but it's undeniable that his mere involvement with the hotel places him on a pivotal point in life, and one that encourages him to deepen his self-examination. This time to also accept the good in himself, and re-evaluate his personnal goals.

Finally, the Hermit may appear in your life as a spiritual mentor- one that may be an expert in his own right (a wise old bartender, who've seen it all), but who will teach you to find your answers within yourself. Which. Loser, Baby.

Okay, it's a lot of talking already. Bear with me, we're now going on the Reverse Hermit.

For as much as I feel like Husk's character is the most in-tune with himself, the struggles is still undeniable. The Reversed Hermit, therefore, encourages you to search deep within your sould, to help you find your way again, to find your way out of the bottle, and focus on rebuilding yourself. You may be damaged, but you can still go on with your life, and improve your situation; it all starts by working on yourself. Be careful not to isolate yourself too much, too. You should not be fully cutting yourself off from others, like a literal Hermit; do not underestimate the value of the connections you can form with people around you. And really, our dear Husker is getting there!

The Hermit Reversed can also indicate an unwelcome isolation in your relationship: one person may want to be alone or withdraw from the relationship, while the other wants to deepen the connection. You will need to respect each other's request for space (not by pushing your partner off his chair, Husker), but also be there to support as appropriate.

And that's it for today! We'll see each other again tomorrow, when I'll drop the first man himself- Adam, as the King of Pentacles. I hope this silly bird would apreciate the irony.

This is not, actually, the first time I drew the Hermit- but the first one, eh, I really did not like it. So, Husker becomes the official Hermit of the deck!

As per last poll's results, here is the winner- Sir Pentious, as the Six of Swords!

It's starting to make a LOT of Hazbin/Helluva cards. Only three... or four... left to do. Probably. Maybe.

Anyway! Explanations for the choice of card under the cut!

The Six of Swords Upright shows that you are in a state of transition, leaving behind what was familiar and moving toward the unknown. For example, you might currently be working of redeeming yourself, leaving hell to thrive for heaven. You may feel sad or reluctant to leave your life behind (especially your minions. God forbides anyone take them away from you); however, you know this change is essential for your growth and personal development. You will become a better person as a result- maybe even a winner? The card invites you to let go of whatever is holding you back; instead, gaze ahead to your future and choose the way most in alignement with your Highest Good. You might need to make tough decisions, like, who knows, attacking an angel with a very bid machine, or saying sorry to a very awful deer man. See it as a rite of passage; you are headed towards a much better position in life. Or death. You have to change how you view yourself: move away from who you used to be, and towards whom you want to be. For that, the Six of Swords encourages you to reflect on any emotional or mental baggage you may carry, just as Charlie pushes the hotel residents to do.

Reversed, the card is much more focused on the spiritual and personnal nature of this journey, as you are actively working on changing the core of who you are. You need to get out of your comfort zone to be able to evolve as a person. The reversed card may also be a sign that you are resisting change and transition, whether it may be because you believe you were forced into it (you came here to spy, after all), or you can't trust the ones around you (they look at you funny). You have to focus on the benefits this change might bring you. Finally, the card encourages you to look for the unfinished business that might held you back. Maybe you never got to kiss the girl; maybe you have a unresolved conflict with someone; maybe you feel like you haven't done as much as you could in your previous situation. Resolve those issues, and only then would the change be able to happen. You can now go aboard your death machine, and peacefully be obliterated. You are heading towards a better future; that's all the card is trying to tell you.

And that's it for our little snake! I actually loved his colour palette as an angel, it's was so lovely to shade- but I still prefer the original design. Such a king.

This card is brighter than the one I usually do- might even be the most colorful of the whole deck, so far! Which- fitting. Today, let's welcome Charlie Morningstar and Vaggie, double figures for the Ten of Cups!

(Now usually, the card also have one or two more people on it; I thought about adding Pentious, but our snake should have his card soon enough. Therefore, it's just the girls.)

Upright, the Ten of Cups embodies happiness, joy, and emotional contentment. You have created an abundance of love and happiness in your life, and you now share this love with others, expanding your heart even more. This fits Charlie and what she created with her hotel, supported by Vaggie- together, they are the start of it all. You are now surronded by your loved ones (it's a fucking happy day in hell!), with whom you share a powerful and deep connection. You support one another, and you help other to reach their highest potential- on the path to redemption! Most of all, you do it because seeing others happy is the greatest joy you could have. It's the "happy family" card by excellence, as well as a positive card for romantic relationships- you're in a blissful one, if that's what you're looking for, to the point you may believe that you ar soulmates destined to be with one another (I do love them, mh, mh). When the card appears in your reading, it's time for you to take a step back, and appreciate everything you accomplished. You went through hard time, but look at that! You can do this, now we know it, and you actually did. Follow your heart, says the card, and follow your inner sens of Good.

Reversed, the card brings more subtility. You can see the Upright reading as mostly Charlie's idealistic view on the hotel and on redemption; but with the reversed Ten of Cups come the struggles. You may feel disconnected and disengaged from your loved ones, like your estranged father and your missing mother. You try to connect, but each times, something goes wrong, and the distance between you grows. Why does he forgets everything you say? Can't he pay attention? Why is he not calling more often? Or maybe you're afraid to trust, and you're keeping some secrets close to your chest. You don't open up enough, and you create, without meaning to, a distance with others, with her. You're too rash and too impulsive, but you mean well- surely, they can see that? It may have an impact on your relationship; you need to realise that nothing is perfect, and every relationship has its ups and downs. The Ten of Cups invite you to seek out a common ground with your loved ones, and rebuild the relationship from there. Talk to your father about why, exactly, he's so reluctant to help; talk to your partner about who you are, and where you came from. Open the lines of communication and be ready to hold space for one another. Be compassionate, understanding, and respectful. The card can also mean that you're starting to doubt yourself, and what you are doing. Is it really worth it? Are you up to the task? Are you letting other people down? You have to rethink those questions. Think about what makes you happy, what you believe in, and bring back your focus to that.

This is another imagination creation for my Favourite detective/inspector Llewelyn Watts. This scene specifically is one of the main scenes I fell head over heels in love with him. The way he forfeits his control and surrenders his obedience to the doctor. The genuine worry over Georges survival and softness of his attempts to sooth him. And also the look he has with the rolled up sleeves and exposed forearms holding him down gently. Ughh he's just so attractive here I wanted to reflect that with prettier lighting.

Back with more tarot cards! Last weeks had been a bit more busy, but, finally, some timeto draw. We're continuing the Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss series, with none other than hell's greatest boss- Blitzø, as the Four of Pentacles!

Some explanations for the choice of card under the cut!

Now, the meaning you'll see associated to this card are usually linked to discussion of money and wealth; but while those would still, in my opinion, fit Blitzø's relation with money, I'll focusing far more on the association with feelings, and relations with others.

Upright, and in its most positive state, the Four of Pentacles suggests that you've created something (a business, perhaps!) that secures you financial stability; you can now provide better for those around you, and feel much more independent, when you were struggling with finances before. But the card typically accompanies a scarcity mindset- with money and material possessions, but also toward others. Instead of enjoying your current lifestyle, you are choosing to guard tightly what you have gain, in fear you might lose it all at any time. That fear of loosing what you have stops you from taking a shot at happiness, and from finding fulfilment in your life. You place too much values on material things, as you feel that your self-worth is based on how much you have- which, in turn, might lead you to feel inadequate next to others (like a whole ass prince of hell, who knows).

Beyond all that, the card appears when you are seeking out more control in your life. You're convinced you can do things alone, that you don't need other people to support you: at work, you might, for example, not let others (Moxxie) mess with your area of expertise. In relationship, you may be protective, even possessive, in fear that it would slip between your fingers, to the point of shutting yourself down to not let a crack be visible.

Reversed, the Four of Pentacles can appear when you're starting to re-evaluate what's important to you. You may be starting to loose the tight grip you have on yourself and the things you care about, in order to seek more openly love and happiness. Perhaps you're starting to forgive yourself, mend relations broken in the past?

If that re-evaluation has not come, however, the card warns you that you should start looking for it. You may not realise it, but what you have is slipping through your fingers, because of how you treat it; or maybe you know just to well, and just tighten your hold even more, despite the harm it's doing... just like the Blitzø on the card, holding that pentacle coin tightly to his chest. You are entering the self-protection mode: you wish for stability, security, and certainty, but find yourself unable to accept it as long as you do not deem yourself worthy enough, wealthy enough, to receive it. But that attitude is what threaten the most of what you've built: you have to learn to open yourself. Stability can only be found once you started building it in yourself.

And that's it for today! I hope you like it, I certainly do. I have to admit I wasn't big on Blitzø at first, but that feral imp quickly grew on me.

Sixth card for this fandom. I'm on a roll!

Back to Helluva Boss, with the most wholesome couple in hell figuring as the Two of Cups- Ozzie and Fizzarolli.

Sort of humanized, I guess? I mean, yeah, in most part, but also, not completely. Anyway, adore them, they are very dear to me.

The Two of Cups is the perfect card to represent the love between two people. With this card, you are creating deep connections based on shared values, compassion, and unconditional love. You share a mutual respect with your partner, regardless of your status in such a hellish society. You bring out the best in each other, and lift each other to even higher level of potential. You are here to support your partner, and really, Mammon can eat your ass- in a bad way. You two also share similar vision for something you might be creating together, as you would find in a business alliance (you totally are just business partners, after all). You may not have the same skills as each other, but you create a beautiful synergy when you work together. Whatever s the nature of your partnership, be it about business, romance or friendship, it's founded on trust, harmony, and mutual respect- a strong combinaison for things to come.

Reversed, the Two of Cups is also teaching you about self love. I see that as more of a representation for Fizzarolli- love, in any form, starts with love for yourself. When you accept and appreciate who you are, you find yourself in a position where you can welcome a life of happiness because you fundamentally believe you deserve it (and you do not own it to some stupid clown going by the name of M a m-). Everything starts with self-love. And here's the thing: if you don't love yourself, you'll end up projecting that lack onto others. You may feel like you're not enough, be too clingy and attached, and be too certain that your partner would eventually leave you. It could lead to a break up, or a falling out- the key to avoid it is to open yourself, to communicate the best you can.

(La communication est le ciment de la confiance, après tout!)

Hold a safe space for one another to express your feelings- and I feel like that's what Ozzie and Fizzie do so beautifully in the show.

I'm sorry, guys, it's yet another Hazbin Hotel card- I swear, I'll draw for another fandom. Soon. Probably. Anyway! Sad TV Cringelord, Vox himself, as the Page of Pentacles!

I had so much fun with this one, I must admit. Tarot meaning ranting under the cut, as well as the details!

When the Page of Pentacles appears upright in your tarot reading, you are excited about a new possibility- might it one of business, of hobby or even a new educational experience (perhaps the last extermination left hell in quite the favorable place for you to take over! Especially with a certain 1930s looking ass bitch gone.) It does not mean that you will be able to fulfil that new dream; it only means your are now bursting with the energy and the motivation to purchase it. You need to calm down, tho, and put in place a clear plan to achive it. You have to stay focused (which is usually not a problem to you, except for ONE (1) exception), keep your feet planted on the ground, and not get carried away (like you said to Val, right? Before going live to perform the most obvious and embarassing display of sheer absolute panic). You will only reach your goal by counting on your common sens and pragmatic approach.

You are also a person who thrives to discover new things, to always be on the latest discovery: you are always ready to level-up your skill (or the state of your freaking TV of a head). All of that acts as a source for your enthusiasm, and can only serve the project you're now working on.

Reversed, the Page of Pentacles can suggest that you are trying to get a specific project or idea of the ground, but each time you try, it seems to amount to nothing or takes you even further away from where you want to be (which is, you would agree, entirely the fault of fucking Alastor). Maybe you have not planned sufficiently, or maybe, juuust maybe, you are trying too hard. Let's just hope you, reader, are not trying too hard on live television, because that would be quite embarassing. You may also be too busy daydreaming about new goals without having taken any actions yet. Sure, it's great to sing and dance with your very discutable partner about how you're going to be sooo successful! But you have to actually commit to the actions, not just watching from behind your screen, to make your dreams a reality.

Finally, the Page of Pentacles Reversed invites you to learn from your past mistakes. Yes, Vox, it's been seven damn year! Turn the page! Learn from your past experience, ask yourself how to avoid making the same mistakes, and move on. Today's failures may lead to tomorrow's success.

(But yes. You're the Page of Pentacles, and Alastor was only the Three. Such a victory.)
