❄️COLD WEATHER PLZ❄️

You know what Koma does? He plays the Are You Hot™️game. "It's hot isn't it? Was it this hot yesterday? Why is it so hot? Are you not hot? Is it going to be like this next week? God it's so hot". He don't do well. He prefers cooler weather. Everyone wants to kill him. He's so annoying.

Yomo lives in a shipping container and is essentially being cooked alive. Can no longer wear grey because of the sweat patches (which kinda looks a bit 😏 but that's just my mind sliding into the gutter imagining him all sweaty - anyway). He's a spring guy at a push, but prefers cooler temps.

Of course Nishiki hates hot weather. People act fucking stupid because the sun fries their brains, he gets sunblock in his eyes all the damn time, people are so LOUD... don't get him started.

Rize is a cold weather queen, mostly for the same reasons as Nishiki, and also because her sensitive nose does not handle b.o very well. Gets pissed off because her makeup is constantly going smeary/crap. Urgh.

☀️YAY I FUCKING LOVE SUMMER⛱️

Look back up at what I said about Nishiki, now imagine Naki. Naki is hot weather personified. He's loud. He's stupid. He's finally learnt not to get sunblock too close to his eyes. White clothing reflects the sun. He LOVES the heat.

I think Uta would actually like all the seasons, but wouldn't hate summer. He's the one out in 30°c + heat in jeans and a light jacket - he doesn't feel it. Also loves the longer days and the balmy nights...

HIDE! Summer festivals, BBQs, people are so much more sociable, free time...It's basically extrovert weather. He flourishes. Candidate for S.A.D too.

Hinami likes hot weather. Probably another one that is gifted with the ability to cope despite it being a million degrees. Manages to never look sweaty/get humid frizzy hair too. Blessed.

BONUS CATEGORY

Ken likes aspects of summer, so looks forward to it for that rather than a love of heat. Reading outside, people watching...

Eto loves the shit out of summer storms. Sit her outside during a thunderstorm and she's a happy lady.

Ayato likes the idea of hot weather but then when it happens he hates it. His hair getting stuck to his sweaty face, having to carry deodorant with him (because underneath it all, he's a self-conscious guy). The bugs can fuck off as well.

Shuu does well in all weather and seasons and appreciates them all. Much like Kaneki, he can enjoy each season for what it brings, but doesn't have a favourite. It also helps that he has a swimming pool, ac, and can sit around relaxing all day rather than Doing Things soooo

as an aside, I got so fucking irritated writing Koma because that is life with my husband right now. We call it the "are you hot game", and it makes me feel murderous.

Forgetting Kanekis' naiveté with ghouls, I wonder how daft he is with regular 'human' things? Where is the line where he starts thinking "I don't feel good about this/this is not normal"?

With Kaneki, it's almost as if his baseline for danger has been so warped, that his fight&flight response isn't connecting with his rational brain. It's like his sensible "thinking/observing" brain has got the wheel, but it's not communicating with the, "WOAH WOAH WOAH THIS IS NOT GOOD GET OUT NOW" part. Does this make sense?
