Unfortunately, I have bad news. My disability money that I receive because of my Level 2 Autism, my main income, has not come in this month due to a bureaucratic mess-up that is going to take too long to be solved and may also not come in next month. (I am in Germany btw, and it is not just a stereotype that bureaucracy here is horrible and just... hellacious)

Coinciding with that, my parents have stopped supporting me financially thinking that the money that the state gives me now is way more than I deserve and that I am somehow living "the rich life" with that... I get this money because I cannot work a job. If you could work a job in Germany, they would absolutely make you, but they have ruled that out for me now completely. The money one does get as a severely disabled person is not more than what a non-disabled unemployed person gets (a fact that is unethical and immoral in my opinion but that as a sidenote) We have special needs, for example, I need meal replacements due to my autism which I am also working on having covered by insurance, but again, it is taking forever.

To make it through this month after having paid my rent, I will need some other financial support. I do have some of my Jellycats up for sale on my Ebay and may put up more (shipping outside of the EU is not an option for me, sorry) but I would appreciate it more if this post was shared so I might receive some emergency Ko-fi donations.

I would not be writing this here if it wasn't an emergency. This blog is about Jellycats and the autistic boy that loves them and sharing them with the world. It is making me uncomfortable to post this in my safe space which is why I will delete this post after the end of the month. But for now, I am desperate and do not know where else to turn to.

(I will continue to be posting on my blog as usual, that is not changing, although please understand that I am under a lot of stress right now and the frequency might be less this month)

Hi !!! Sorry to bother you but I want to ask what’s the difference between the Boyd Dino and the Puffles Dino? I recently got myself a Jellycat Dino which looks like the two Dinos I listed on top and I was wondering what type of Jelly he is. Thank you ^^

This is a question I get a lot, no problem, you can ask me anything about Jellycats! It just takes me a while to get back to people at this point because of the huge influx to my inbox every day, but questions about Jellycats don't bother me!

I own both those dinos, here are the stock photos and my own comparison photos (excuse the bad quality):

Boyd Dino and Puffles Dino

The one on the left is Boyd Dino (same design family as the other so-called "Snugglets" Bailey Sloth, Beckett Fox, Barnaby Pup, Benji Koala, Brooklyn Hippo, Brodie Monkey etc…)

The one on the right is Puffles Dino, part of the Puffles Series. Both are medium size. Puffles Dino is older, bigger and chubbier and less floppy overall. The green color is actually very different, the legs are not floppy (Puffles is almost stuck in a permanent sitting position) and Boyd Dino has a tail while Puffles Dino does not. I hope that answers your question of whether you have a Boyd or a Puffles!🦕

Jellycat Website Update And "High Summer" Collection 2024

As some of you may have noticed already, the Jellycat website was completely revamped yesterday with new features and a whole lot of changes. For example, you can now create multiple wishlists and share them with people, it is more transparent as far as the product info goes (now the dimensions are more detailed, the type of eyes used is specified and much more) and overall it just looks cleaner. An element I'm missing are the videos on the homepage as well as the "Retired Jellycat" section which I have not been able to find. I have reached out to the CEO about this and will update if anyone is also interested in this. Not being able to look at old Jellycats makes me sad as someone who's been a fan for years😢

In additon to that, a few new Jellycats are coming soon (available 23rd of April) as part of the now annual small "High Summer" collection. Here's the link to all of the newness as well as a compilation below (will go into detail later of course, and expect some surprise releases!😉):

It's not, it's real! It's confirmed by Jellycat that he'll be coming to the website soon! 23rd of April is the launch date!

Hi there! Do you know if there are any bashful bunnies that are red? I've been having trouble figuring out if there are any red ones other than the Sparkly Cassis, since a lot of redder looking ones I find are actually a shade of pink. Thanks :)

This is a super good question because like you I also find that there are lots of shades of pink or reddish Bashful Bunnies but no "real red" ones. (like primary red for example)

There were some red (and reddish) Bashful Bunnies in the past but all of them are retired now including Sparkly Cassis Bunny that you mentioned.

But you're in luck! As part of the Winter 2024 collection, there will be a new Bashful Bunny that is red called Cranberry Bunny. And there will also be a new Bashful Luxe Bunny that's red called Bashful Luxe Bunny Scarlett. Two more reddish bunnies are also part of that new collection which will be released in September 2024. Below I put pics of all of them taken from the catalog!
