I feel like this is jow every teen feels all the time. I know that my mom diddnt understand my love for dnd and magic as a teen.
If only I could make him understand. I just don’t see things the way he does. I just don’t see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad.

So this past weekend i started a new challenge. Im calling it the peak a week challenge where i hike a mountain each week till the snow falls here in Maine.
I started this past weekend on Sept 2nd. The mountain i hiked was the 2890 ft elevation Blueberry Mountain. One of the smaller mountains in the weld region. Its also a difficult steep 2.6 mile roundtrip mountain. Did I mention steep?
Its starts off in a small parking lot below the Blueberry Bible camp. You walk through a narrow path surrounded by wildflowers, black berries and of course blueberries. Continue past the first intersection, and then take a left up the mountain. And go up. And up. And up. After a grueling steep hike, you are rewarded with your first view.
Keep on going up. And up. Lots of steep rock scrambling. Finally you reach the peak, and are rewarded with a 360 degree views of the area. Webb lake, the nearby peaks of Jackson, Tumbledown, Bald and Mt. Blue. If you are lucky, you can also see Saddleback,Spaulding, Mt. Abram,North and Soubt Crocker,Sugarloaf, and if you have a perfect clear day, the Biggelow Mt Range and Mt. Washington. Sadly I was not that lucky. But i still got to see a lot. It was beautiful. And worth it. Not a hike i reccomend as a first hike. Unless your crazy like me.
