Jane has counted the seconds that have passed since their eyes first met under the glow of club lights , waiting for the ideal moment to make her move . All eyes are drawn to this one , ravenous for any moment of attention she may grant them ... only to be disappointed when Evelynn's gaze returns to Jane, who quickly offers a wink . An invitation Evelynn , to Jane's surprise , quickly accepts .

Hmmm , having such a pretty one come to her ... she can't help but smile . Jane places her glass on the counter , a hand brushing over Evelynn's forearm : a friendly squeeze that lingers , inviting her to stay .

Well , it's certainly not the first time she's heard that one ... Jane forces down her protests — cheese isn't even part of a rat's natural diet , it's often only a trap , and she's unlikely to fall for anything so obvious — to instead offer a smile , warm and welcoming .

Aw , she's nervous . How cute . Jane manages to suppress the laughter bubbling within her throat , instead conveying her amusement — and satisfaction — with a melodic purr . Attention briefly turns towards the darling bangboo guarded from her seduction attempts , giving it a gentle tap 'pon its forehead with middle finger . No doubt she hopes this will only add to Belle's embarrassment , and she finds it rather safe to assume Belle intends to pretend she never saw it .

' After closing ... hmm ... ' It's not exactly ideal : as much as she adores whatever time may be spent toying with someone so precious , she's a little ... antsy about her fun . After a thoughtful sigh , her form straightens with an exaggerated stretch .

' And when are you off , dear Manager ? I don't suppose you offer delivery , do you ? ' She lowers her voice , making sure to lean forward just enough to ensure only Belle may hear .

' It's just , I've the night off , so ... was planning a big dinner , a warm bath ... y'know , the usual treat . ~ Wouldn't want to get that started before playing hostess for you , right ? '

     EVEN  WITH  THE  DESPERATE  ATTEMPT  TO  PLASTER  SOMETHING    more innocent in the blind lines of what their bond even is,  this push will likely     PIQUE     the curiosity of many.      proxy's eyes are bright,  skilled with feigning ignorance    &    pretending like a deer in the headlights should she find the need to    DEPLOY    such a skill.    yet her embarrassment is palpable, obviously picking up on the other's intrigue in taking her out on     SOMETHING    that she cannot handle.    belle should learn to pick battles that she can actually take on.   

clearing her throat, she covers the ears of the poor eighteen.    although there is    NOTHING    outright being said, this sight is surely one that would make her want to put away her bangboo promoter.    " not  -  "     voice    CRACKS    ever so slightly, pathetic in nature that it almost makes her want to slink back into the staff room.   if only doing that wouldn't catch the    ATTENTION    of her brother, then perhaps she would have ran back inside.

She's little interest in beating around the bush , and even less in caring about appropriate professional relationships . Belle maintains the well - behaved manager act perfectly , sparing any customers from the unfortunate experience of innuendos and affairs Jane Doe intended to make a display of . It'd be disappointing if the secrecy & risk weren't so DELICIOUS .

Jane Doe clicks her tongue , feigned disappointment . She will play her own role , a well - meaning woman simply hoping to purchase a sweet , precious bangboo to keep her company . ' How silly of me . I thought the bangboos were for sale ... ' Hands rise in the air , palms open in exaggerated defeat . No one is paying attention to their conversation , there's no real need to spin a tale of her own foolishness ; at this point , it's all for her own fun .

Belle's voice drops ever so slightly , beckoning Jane closer . Form leans over the counter , elbows propped up to allow a curled fist rest against her chin .

' Really ? You've caught my attention , manager . What time are you free for me ? ~ '

    PROXY  BLINKS  AT  HER  BLUNTNESS,   A  SMALL  TILT  OF     a head present with a smile playing on her lips.    there is a small, nagging feeling in her head that encourages her to take the other's words    &    turn it into a     JOKE.     but belle stows it back, it would not be tasteful to tease something in that regard while being the one to    MAN    the counter today in place of 18.   besides, she might just get scolded by wise for being odd with a customer.
