His Banner Of Me Is Love
Tumblr media
One of my favorite scriptures can be found in Isaiah 52 verse 7. The words: How beautiful upon the mountain are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaim peace, who brings good news of happiness, who proclaim salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” I find these words encouraging when I am feeling a bit lost for direction and purpose in my life. How I found this jewel for my life is the story I would like to share today, in the hope something about my walk with God will be good news for you the reader. NIV
Some years ago, I was given a pair of shoes that were no longer wanted by a friend’s daughter. I thought they were beautiful; they were black leather with a cute white and red polka dotted bow across the toe area. Every time I wore those beautiful shoes, someone would comment on my feet. Total strangers stopped me to comment on those shoes. They would ask me where I had bought them, and tell me how beautiful they looked. It happened too many times to be just a coincidence; it even happened at a Christian home group I attended. It was there as I laughed and joked about the attention those shoes got, I realised that I was supposed to be paying attention to something more important. God was speaking and I needed to listen. The penny dropped, okay Lord you have my attention, and by time I had arrived home, this scripture was well and truly imprinted on my heart.
Like the messenger who took the good news of Cyrus’s decree of liberation/salvation to God’s people from the Babylonians,
I would be a messenger and take good news where ever God lead me.
Love and laughter

Scripture Verse Of The Week
Tumblr media
This verse from John 14 verse 6:
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father accept through Me.”
This verse compares to Acts 4 verse 12
“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved”.
To know God is to know God’s Way.
When we study the Gospel of John chapter one we find.
In the beginning was the Word, The Word was with God, The Word was God.
The Word was with God, all things were created by the Word, that was with God.
Life was in Him (the Word)
The Word’s Light was with men and darkness of the world did not overcome it.
The Word refers to Christ Jesus, this is the theme of the chapter. Jesus the Creator is the way, the Truth and the life.
John affirmed that if God forgives anyone, it will be because of Jesus atoning work on the cross.
To Know this, is to know God and be strong in your salvation.
God loves you and He knows the best and only way for you.
God Bless.

Sunday Encouragement
Tumblr media
We all know and probably can quote by heart John 3 Verse 16:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His Only begotten Son, that who so ever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.
Any “Whosoever” that includes you and me.
So, with that in mind, under the Holy Spirit’s, “any who so ever” will learn to improve and walk in sanctification.
Acceptance of God’s gift of salvation makes us Justified before God. The journey of Sanctification begins, where we learn to become more and more like Christ Jesus.
If we let the Spirit in and submit to His influence, we can and will receive the fullness of riches of God’s Grace and thus the invisible will be clearly seen through us. Any misunderstanding about Christ will be clarified as we learn to walk in His Righteousness.
Romans 6 Verse “So that as sin {the things God calls wrong} reigned in death {a life without Christ Jesus} even so Grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ Our Lord.’
Romans 6 Verse 12 and 13:
V12: “Therefore do not let sin {things God calls wrong} reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.”
V13: And do not present your members {parts of your body} as instruments {weapons} of unrighteousness to sin {things God calls wrong} but present yourselves to God as being alive {from the dead work of sin} from the dead, and your members {parts of your body} as instruments {weapons} of righteousness to God.
2 Corinthians 10 Verse 4: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds”.
Ephesians 6 Verse 11: “Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles {deceitful Methods} of the devil.
God Bless

Wonderful Account from 'Book Of Malachi'
Tumblr media
Malachi is an easy book to find it is the last book of the Old testament.
Haggai and Zechariah make a high point in the experience of the returned exiles. The people listen to God  message and responded. But some hundred years later when Malachi ministered the people had a indifference to God and drifted into various sins.
Sounds like the people of today grown indifferent to God.
Historical bases the background can be found in Nehemiah chapter 13.
God promises that one day in the future, when the people repent The Messiah will be revealed and God’s covenant promises will be fulfilled.
A silence of 400 years lies between the voice of Malachi and the voice of one crying in the wilderness. “Prepare ye the way of the Lord.”
The Old Testament closes with the word ‘curse’. Malachi 4 verse 6 The New Testament closes with a blessing Revelation 22 verse21.
The Privileged of God’s Love; {! verse 1 to 5} Something we can’t take for advantage. Wallowing in the problems of their present condition, the people in Jerusalem lose their perspective on God’s  work and His love for them in the past.
The Pollution of the Priests {1 verse 6 to 2 verse 9}: Greed and imperfect offerings. We always need to give our best to God, not out of something we can afford to give.
The Problems of The People: {2 verse 10 to 3 verse 15}: The people are as bad as their priest. Leadership is something to be taken seriously. Intermarrying, robbing God with their tithes, not honoring God.
God’s Promises: {3 verse 16 to 4 verse 6}; God’s promises are true, but sin will hold us back from receiving the blessings.
Malachi draw a dismal portrait of the people’s spiritual condition. when Malachi confronts his contemporaries, they responded with disdain and indifference. accused of despising God’s Name by offering diseased animals as sacrifices, the people struggled, complaining that worship was boring and a burden.
The priests failed to teach God’s law. the people also complained that God failed to answer their prayers, never considering that the callous ways they replaced their wives with younger and more beautiful trophy wives reflected their indifference to covenant relationship. it is in this setting God announces ‘I hate divorce’ Malachi 2 verse 16.
When God urged the people through the prophets to return to him, they pretended to be shocked, asking what the prophets meant.
Their indifference to worship and their incorrect priories were clearly revealed by their actions. At the end of Malachi, it is clear that there was no hope for restoration of the kind of faith community envisaged in the Old testament, and the prophets focused individuals “who feared the Lord” and “talked with each other ” about Him {Malachi 3 verse 16} God promised “They will be mine, in the day when I make up my treasured processions.
Let never become indifferent to God. He is calling us back to Him. Lets all be counted as one of Hos treasured possessions, what a wonderful privilege that is.
God loves us and by accepting Him we also become treasured to Him.
God does want to become Our lord and Our friend.
Read Malachi and enjoy.
God Bless.

Faith In Action "Two Directions'
Tumblr media
Psalm 1: The two directions.
“How happy is the man who does not follow the advice of the wicked?”   [Holman study bible}
“Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly” [King James Version]
The word happy, “blessedness of” refers to the joy and satisfaction that comes from knowing that one is right with God, even though at times conflict with the world may bring disagreements.
The poem written on our first post “Oh what it is ‘to be a Christian” refers to this kind of Happiness [blessedness of knowing]
The second part of this verse “the advice of the wicked” [Hsb]
“Not the counsel of the ungodly” [Kjv]
We need the advice of unbelievers through life on technical issues, such as doctors and lawyers [not all doctors and lawyers are unbelievers just examples of people we may need advice from] But with the things pertaining to God, moral issues, and faithfulness we need more than just the counsel of man. We need that joy and satisfaction that comes from knowing Him.
From the poem again: “The light real Christians follow is the everlasting Presence of God”.
Don’t be confused; the ‘happy’ referred to in the first translation [HSB]
Is! ‘thye blessed’ in the [Kjv]
Comes from the original Hebrew ‘esher, [eh’-sher] happiness, which literally means we have the Blessed assurance of who He is and that He will never leave us or forsake us.
Think about that over your morning coffee, think about that over those stress inducing moments, think about that when the giants around you rear their ugly heads and try to beat you into submission. He will never leave you or forsake you.
So today be Happy and hold onto that blessed assurance of Who he is, and is to us.
Feels like a great day coming!
God Bless.
The Poem referred to.
There is no way to deserve it,
It’s a feeling that grows indeep
A feeling of tremendous excitement,
A feeling reserved for those who seek.
Of course the roads not easy, but it leads to eternal life,
Through a life of dedication and victories in Christ.
A life that not many follow.
The light they see not clear
Their eyes are blurred by worldly fascinations,
And they only have a clouded view.
But the light real Christians follow is the everlasting Presence of God

His Banner Over Me Is Love
Tumblr media
These days we express ourselves using various forms of communication, such as texting; Facebook and many other forms of social media to share our ideas and our life to others. I find it enjoyable to use these different forms of media, especially listening to music. As a Christian I need to connect, and communicate with my life source; My Heavenly Father.
In the Old Testament people would go to the prophets to inquire of God, and He would answer them. Today we are very blessed because God speaks through His son Jesus. All we have to do is listen. As I pondered that thought, a song came to my mind: “Great are you Lord.”
It is a song by All Sons & Daughters. The lyrics are fabulous, “You give life. You are love. You bring light into darkness. You give hope. You restore hearts that are broken. Great are you Lord. … We pour out our praise. We pour out our praise”. The words “We pour out our praises” tugged at my heart strings; so much so that I thought I must be meant to chat about praise.
It would have been easy to meditate on the lyrics of the song, but the blessing was not in the words or the music. The blessing was God’s presence; The Holy Spirit was making me aware that He was with me, He heard me, and because of that impression and the sense of God’s presence, I was able to write this testimony. Gratitude stirred within me. Great is our God! Thank You Jesus.

Weekend Inspiration

We call Him Our Lord and Our Friend, but that is something that has been known for a long time. There is a Hymn people down through the ages have been singing with similar words. That Hymn ‘What A Friend We Have in Jesus’, read along or sing along, with great joy for it really is true. God wants to be our God, but He also wants to be our Friend, if we ask Him to.
V1: what a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer.
V2: Have we trails and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged:
Take it to The Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share/
Jesus knows our every weakness—
Take it to The Lord in prayer!
V3: Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to The Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to The Lord in prayer;
in His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.
What wonderful words, to remind us no matter what we go through, take it to Our Lord, in prayer.
God Bless

Forgiveness – “Every good thing which is in you for Christ’s sake” Philemon 1:6 In the book of Philemon, Holy Spirit is pleading with believers to be reconciled to one another. Holy Spirit graces us with the ability to forgive one another. Forgiveness is not a feeling, it’s a work of the Holy Spirit – and an act of our will. Our choice. But be encouraged that the strength to forgive is not in your own power, it comes from the Holy Spirit.”
“By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” I recently heard of an atheist who said “the thing I envy about you Christians is your forgiveness – I have no-one to forgive me. “. Oh! that others would see the Light and know/understand that forgiveness is available to all (whosoever) John 3:16 – whosoever comes to Christ and accepts Him as Lord and Saviour – our Lord and our Friend – has access to this amazing gift and power. This is one of the ‘good things’ that are in us ‘in Christ’.
You might say ‘I’ve tried to forgive, but the pain still lingers. How do I overcome the sting of bitterness’?
Unforgiveness has been likened to a prison cell with the key on the inside. It keeps us locked in, and by asking Holy Spirit to help us release forgiveness to the one who has wounded us, He is also able to release us too. Ask Him to help you pray for the one who wounded you and to release blessing over them. In this way, He is able to vindicate you and restore you to peace in your soul.
Philippians 2:13 tells us “(not in our own strength), for it is God Who is all the while effectively at work in you (energizing and creating in you the power and desire), both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight”. AMPC
Philippians 4:8 says “one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable and right, and pure and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Ephesians 4:23 “And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind (having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude) AMPC
This is one way we overcome - Mediating on the Word of God - Fixing our mind on what’s true – right – pure – lovely – excellent things. And Holy Spirit is our wonderful Helper, Teacher, Guide. He knows the perfect scripture to help you.
God’s rich blessings.

Scripture Verse Of The Week ‘Proverbs 14 Verse 8′
Tumblr media
Proverbs 14 Verse 8:
“The sensible man’s {or woman’s} wisdom is consider his way, but the stupidity of fools deceives them”.
God gave us all a brain, we need to use it. If we are serious about becoming a better thinker, understand great thinking comes from good sensible thinking.
So if we want to become great thinkers, we should concentrate on becoming a good sensible thinker, but before we do anything we need to be become a thinker. We are not to accept everything we are told, we should be able to think things through for ourselves.
The Amplified Bible puts Proverbs 14 Verse 8; “The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his {or her} way, but the folly of [self confident] fools is to deceive”.
We need to think out our ways, of doing, living, loving and witnessing, we have a wonderful helper and comforter in The Holy Spirit.
Spiritual Growth comes from. good thinking. Our thinking ability is determined not by your desire to think, but by our past thinking. We have all made stuff up in our lives, we have all fallen short of the Glory of God, but we don’t stop in a misery pit of past failings.
We have been given new life, through repentance and acceptance of Christ Jesus, so let us set our thinking and doing be done, in the newness of life He has given us.
Where we once constantly missed the mark “ {sin wrong-doing} against God, now we have a new life for a new way of thinking. So let our new way of thinking be, so everything we do and say will bring Glory to Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend.
God Bless.

Sunday Encouragement
Tumblr media
If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged by this wonderful verse from 2 Corinthians 12 Verse 9:
2 CORINTHIANS 12 Verse 9 “And He (Jesus) said unto me (yes, you) My Grace is sufficient for you, (again, you!) for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
God can use our weakness to His advantage.
SAVOR ON Grace is God’s undeserved favor, and all that it brings is sufficient for me (yes, you)
The best of the best of what God has to offer is really more than sufficient for me (yes, you!)
Sometimes like Paul, we will find God’s answers to prayer by Him giving us not what we ask for but something better.
Our Lord and Our Friend knows what is best for our lives, and He has plans for our lives {Jeremiah 29 Verse 11} So He knows what we need and it will be always sufficient for us.
Our sufficiency should be based Who we are in Christ, and then we will understand why His Grace is always sufficient for us.
Be Blessed Today And Everyday,

Encouragement/Exhortation
Romans chapter 12 verse 8 in NLT says “if your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging”. This chapter talks of the 9 motivational gifts that God has given to build up one another. Someone once said that encouragement is like verbal sunshine. I like that!
In my mind, the gift of encouragement (probably like all other gifts – because with regards to giving, for example, the word says “it is more blessed to give than to receive”) – works both ways. The giver and the receiver are both blessed.
Have you ever felt to encourage someone, and they have brushed you off with a comment like “oh well it’s all God really”? Whilst we do acknowledge that all good things come from Father God, I know I have felt disappointed/grieved when I attempted to encourage someone, and they did not receive it. This happened recently, and it made me question myself as to how I receive from others.
Often it takes courage for a person to step out and pass on a good word to us. Hebrews 10:24 says “let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works”. Verse 25 goes on to say, “and let us not neglect our meeting together, as some do, but ENCOURAGE one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.”
Encourage in the dictionary, is described as “give support, confidence or hope”. The free dictionary puts it like this “to impart courage, inspiration and resolution; to cheer (on), embolden, inspire, inspirit, embolden.” Wow! How powerful is that!
We know that encouragement is not flattery. Flattery is said to be “excessive and insincere praise, given especially to further one’s one interest”. Whereas I think encouragement is to build up another person, speaking the truth in love; acknowledging the gifts and talents and value of someone else, in sincerity and honesty.
So today, let’s consider how we can put courage into someone else – and if we are encouraged by someone, let’s be gracious and receive.
God’s rich blessings.

Weekend Inspiration

What value do we put on friendship? In John 15 verse 15: Jesus tells us we have become His friends.
“I do not call you slaves anymore, because a slave doesn’t know what his master is doing, I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have heard from My Father”.
The price of that friendship, we could never afford, but it is a free gift, for ‘any whosoever’ in, John 3 verse 16:
That is the ultimate friendship to be called a friend of God, but what about our friendship with others. What value do we place on them. We are said to have many acquaintances and fewer friends, but what is stopping us from turning that statement around.
Then there are the friends that just encourage us on a regular bases, they carry a Barnabas ministry of encouragement. Encouragement can come in many ways a good friend of mine, asked me if there was a special gift I wanted, I am a generally self sufficient type, with things i need, and get by with what have. This person is a very private person, and I respect that but they bought me a lovely fountain pen, because that is what i always wanted.
I don’t think realized they the significance of the gift to me, The pen was made by a company called ‘Cross’, fountain pen, so I could be a fountain of sharing more about what My Lord and My Friend means to me. A ‘Cross’ pen, to share the great love He poured out through the cross. An extremely lovely gift, which had deep meaning for me.
If we could all just add more friend to our list. because there are many lonely people out there, and most just want a listening ear, and when we have that we have the chance to witness, what a wonderful Friend we have In Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend.
There is an Old Hymn, “What A Friend We Have In Jesus”. If He is our Friendship. let us share more about His friendship with others.
God Bless, and Thank you All.

Faith In Action 'The Lord Our Splendor'
Tumblr media
The Lord will be our splendor.
Isaiah 60 verse 19:“The sun will no longer be your light by day, and the brightness of the moon will not shine on you; but The Lord will be your splendor.
”We used to sing a song, I can’t remember all the song, but it went something like this: ‘The things of the world will grow strangely dim, in the light of His Glory and Grace.’ What makes us shine? It can not be anything in the world, because our life is to reflect His Glory. My wife and I went away for a weekend, we didn’t plan it we just hopped in the car, and went, no destination in mind, but had several places under consideration.
We ended up going to the mountains and we stayed the night at a motel overlooking the coastline. When one gets to these places, one can can not help but see the Glory of His creation. The vastness of all He has prepared for us. It was a beautiful place to write about Our Lord and Our Friend. My reading for the day was from Isaiah, and sitting in the brightness of a beautiful sunrise, hence my reflection about who is our source of light and sustenance.
The beauty of this sunrise could not compare to the Glorious Light of His Presence, for all who have accepted Him.Isaiah 61 verse1: “The Spirit of The Lord is one me, because The Lord has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and freedom to prisoners;”This is what God The Father sent His Son to do, the light of that glorious revelation, should be shining in us more than anything in the world.
The anointing of His redemptive message is available to anyone ‘whosoever’ who genuinely Repents and Accepts with genuine Appreciation. This raise a question, how committed to Him do we allow ourselves to be. It is never about us, our lives should be about promoting the interest of His Kingdom
If we are to enjoy His Presence, we must spend time, conversing with Him {Prayer} and listening to Him through His Word, and acting upon the calling He has for each one of our lives. Jeremiah 29 verse 11.My mountain top experience this time, was because I was on a mountain, but we can have mountain top experiences with Him anywhere, because He wants to be Lord of All, we are, and all we do.
My devotions in the revelation ‘The Lord will be our splendor, finished with a prayer: “Oh Father, in the light of this challenge today, Let Your will be done on earth, in me, as It is done in heaven, Grant it, Lord for the honor and Glory of Your Awesome and Wonderful Name, Amen {So be it}.

His Banner Over Me Is Love
Tumblr media
We here at My Lord My Friend Ministries are proud to introduce our latest writer Zoe and her wonderful articles 'His Banner Over Me Is Love'. We are sure you will enjoy Zoe's great weekly articles.
OFJ
On a sail boat, somewhere in the Caribbean, I met a very interesting, gentleman celebrating his fiftieth wedding anniversary. We got chatting and he shared his testimony of his encounter with the living word (God) many years previously.
He was engaged to be married and thought he should be feeling complete, but something was missing. So, he went to his priest, (yes, he was a church goer) and explained how he was feeling. He explained how he loved his fiancé and delighted to spend time with her but had this emptiness he couldn’t explain. His priest inquired about his daily spiritual practise; was he reading the bible, saying his prayers. He explained how he always made time in his day to read the bible and have his prayer time. The priest encouraged him to continue what he was doing and reassured him that all would be well. He followed the priest’s advice and after being married for some time he noted that nothing had changed, he still felt unfulfilled, as if something was still missing from his life. He had council with parish priest again, who repeated the same advice he had given him on his previous visit, keep reading the bible and have time with God. Then, one day as he opened his bible, the words on the page turned to pure gold. He was in awe of God and His word. He knew at that moment he was complete.
God’s word has greater value than we can possibly imagine. Fifty years later that gentleman still delighted in the reality of God and His word.
Blessings

Scripture Verse Of The Week
Tumblr media
ACTS 3 VERSE 6;
“But Peter said, ‘I have neither silver nor gold, but what I have, I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk’.”
The Christian walk is not about how much money you do have or don’t have. It is about how much of The Christ you have.
Many of us will do our best as long as circumstances reward our efforts. But what happens if we work for less then an ideal boss, or if our work place or those around us seem to be satisfied with the mediocrity, or if everything seems to be treating us unfairly. Are we willing to pursue  the excellent?
what happens to our confession of Faith? what happens to our life, we have let Jesus into? Do we because of things being not right around us, not have the same commitment to Our Christian walk, and the authority we have been given?
This scripture verse is from the book of Acts. from a worldly point of view, the followers of Jesus at that time had very little going for them. They had no political or religious recognition, no church buildings and little influence. What wealth they did have was shared among the believers.
But what they did have, set them apart from the rest was the Power of God. Jesus had promised his followers, that they would perform miracles. {John 14 verses 12 to 26}
This was the early church, the acceptance of Jesus as The Christ was vibrant and exciting, they knew what they had, despite the circumstances being tough around them. The greatest opposition they had came from the religious people of the day, who didn’t understand that the worship of God, had because of what Christ Jesus did on the cross, had become a relationship with their Creator God  and a daily walk.
So you see it doesn’t matter what circumstances, we go through in life. whether we are up or down, the truth of the matter is< Jesus is the same , Yesterday, Today and Forever. The same power, the same Grace flows through us, because we have accepted Jesus as Our Lord and Savor and Our Friend.
Jesus doesn’t say because you are going through a rough time, or because maybe you are to excited in your Faith, that His power won’t work in your life. It is available to all who dare to use it.
Christianity is  a witness of The Risen Lord, and all that he has done for us and given to us. The great challenge is to use the Faith and all that Christ Jesus has given you at all times.
What would stop you saying to somebody you meet with a need, “Such as i have in Jesus Name, be free.”
Perhaps we need to say it to ourselves at times, to remind us of the Power and Authority That Our Lord and Our Friend has given to our lives by His Grace {Undeserved favor}.
The Risen Lord and all He has done and given to us, should always be evident in our lives, highs or lows, it is apart of our walk with Him.
God Bless.

Weekend Inspiration
Tumblr media
We have been writing this website for many years now, and one of OFJ earliest articles was this one, please read enjoy as we reflect on this article again.
There is a chorus which goes something like this, ‘Its The Holy Ghost on fire and it is keeping me alive.
That does not mean a fire, is keeping our body alive, it means keeping our spirit alive, in our relationship with God, in our commitment to Him, and in our witness for Him.
We just don’t say a salvation message, and become a Christian and that is all we need to do, that is the greatest step, but it is the start of a journey, where we walk in fellowship with God {The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit}.
It is through The Holy Spirit, The Third Person of The Trinity, through whom God acts, reveals His will. empowers individuals, and discloses His personal presence.
Acts 2 Is about Pentecost;
V3: “And tongues, like flames of fire that were divided, appeared to them and rested on each of them”. V4: “Then they were filled with The Holy Spirit”.
Filled and things began to happen, The Holy Spirit Power was in their lives, they were to never be the same again. A poem which we have used before, called ‘The Burning Within’, is a fitting way to summarize, The Holy Spirit work in our lives to bring us to, what we need to let Him do in our lives.
The fire that God gives to your life through His Son Jesus Christ let it burn.
Burning away what shouldn’t be there.
Burning and making a radiant glare.
To testify to what God has given.
The fire that God gives to your life, that you might have life everlasting, let it burn.
Burning away the hatred and sin.
Burning that makes a new life begin.
To testify to what God has given.
The fire that God gives to your life by His Spirit, let it burn.
Burning away your corrupted desire.
Burning away that sets your worship on fire.
To testify to what God has given.
The fire that God gives, that you may have the fullness in living, let it burn.
Burning away all slothfulness and complaining.
Burning that makes you more eager for learning.
To testify to what God has given.
The fire that God gives, that you might share a burden for others, let it burn.
Burning away all jealousy and misgiving.
Burning from with from the center of your being.
To testify what God has given.
Let it burn.
God Bless.

Wonderful Account 'Book Of Revelation'
Tumblr media
The believer can learn much theology from Revelation. but there is a warning from John to the Church of Ephesus. This is a warning we all should heed, to understand, believe, and even to defend the faith. There is always more to do whatever temptation and alternative ideas on faith emerge, it is crucial to persistently Love the Lord with all our hearts and our minds. Our Lord and Our Friend needs to become first in our lives. Only in this way will we have the chance to become over comers
Getting to know Our Lord and Our Friend in total reality of Him being The Christ, and we will understand that IN HIM, we CANNOT become overcome.
John 1 verses 4 and 5:
V4: “Life was in Him, and that life was the light of men {People}”.
V5: That light shines in the darkness, yet the darkness did not overcome it.”
All we are is in Christ Jesus and in Christ Jesus {Our Lord and Our Friend}, we cannot be overcome, that is the hope we have and the hope that is revealed in Revelation.
John is writing in Revelation to proclaim the Word of God, and he writes to tell us that.
The Greeting in Revelation is what theologians call a Trinitarian Greeting. It starts with a description of The Father, the supreme sovereign Lord of the entire universe, past, present and future {Rev 1 verse 4}. The Seven Spirit before the throne represent The Holy Spirit, {Rev 1 verse 4} and in Rev 1 verse 5 first part we have a description of Jesus.
In Rev 1 verse 8: God is referred to in three ways:
1. Alpha and Omega – Beginning and End, meaning God lives in an eternal state.
2. Who is, who was, and who is to come. Although living outside of time, still dwells in time to deal with those living in the present, those living in the past, and those living in the future.
3. The Almighty, He has absolute control and has the best for all our lives in hand.
Revelation confirms how Great the God we believe in is, and He is a God that has great plans for us all.
It is ours to accept and believe and trust In Him. that He is all Who He has revealed He is in Revelation, and He has everything under His control.
This is The Eternal Hope we all should have. Made Clear by how much He loves us all.
God Bless.
