ITS EXTREMELY EASY TO LOSE YOUR ART! I once worked super hard on something yesterday, and then I lost it in my drawer! I pulled everything out of my drawer but couldn’t find it. But THEN! The picture suddenly appeared in the drawer! What kind of witchcraft is this?

Amo el arte y JeanMikasa!

Here’s the translation! I know it’s seven months old but whatever. I like the art.

I’m no Spanish scholar, but I loved the art so I decided to translate it into English. I used Google Translate and also polished up some parts to make sure they made sense. I did my best to capture the original intentions, but as with all translations, I probably failed in some spots. All apologies!

Jean is the bad boy (though in reality he is a loser) who falls in love with the occult lover girl. (References to Attack on School Castes.)

✨ Context of ajol0tita’s (Original artist) 80’s AU ✨

Of course, this was based on the Attack on Caste, but it takes place in the 80s as I wanted an excuse to make Mikasa with traditional goth makeup. I know that goth culture is still alive, but Goth Mikasa in the current AU is more Hippie Goth or Nu Goth type (which many do not consider as part of goth) Jean is based on attractive actors and musicians I found from the 80s with long hair.

And now ✨ The Story ✨

Jean was always interested in Mikasa. He was captivated by the interesting way she spoke. She didn’t speak much, but when she did, she used words that Jean thought were beautiful. And when she learned poetry, her way of writing was just like the sound of her own voice.

Even so, Jean-boy never dared to talk to her. After all, she was a strange girl at school.

When they started high school, Jean couldn’t help but notice and wonder about the two friends she hung out with, Eren and Armin. The first who had no purpose in life but kept going. The other always talking about a series called Star Wars and how he was always waiting for the next one to come out. He was very much a nerd, but Mikasa still seemed to like him.

When they went back to school, Mikasa had changed her appearance. She had problems with the school authorities due to her strange appearance, pales makeup with dark shadows, strange outline, and her lips painted black. She stood out quite a bit. The school tried to get her to dress “normally”, but Mikasa stood her ground. She that if she was forbidden to dress and use makeup the way she wanted, they would be going against her freedom of expression. Mikasa went to many detentions and still dressed no different. Eventually the school decided to stretch their rules and let her dress the way she wanted. After all, she was a good student and got good grades. At that point, Jean didn’t want to be just another invisible person at the school. It then occurred to him that his thing was his fighting skills. He became the bad boy and juvenile delinquent. The curious thing though was that he was never found picking fights outside of school. There were rumors, however, that he was part of some gang.

If Jean heard people badly talking about Mikasa, he would hit them until they bled, and if they dared to tell anyone that he was defending Mikasa, he would beat them again. He had a reputation to maintain. A reputation that he was the bad boy and had no heart for anyone. That reputation went down on one fateful day. Thanks to the fact that no one wanted to work with the bad boy or the weird goth, the two were paired together for an assignment.

The two spent a lot of time together in the library helping each other with the assignment. They even got to the point where they went to each other’s houses to work one the assignment. Little by little, they grew closer to each other.

At first, Mikasa’s other friends, Eren and Armin, did not accept the friendship between Mikasa and Jean. As they got to know each other, they discovered that Jean was not that bad. They were the same as him. They were in the same “loser” school caste. The only difference between them though was that Jean used his fists while Eren and Armin do not. Jean and Eren have a friend-enemy relationship.

After spending the after hours with Mikasa and working on assignment with her, Jean discovered he had feelings for her at last. The curiosity he had for her gave him something deep down in his heart. However, Jean wasn’t sure if Mikasa felt the same for him. During the last year of school, Jean decided to declare his feelings to her in the library. She smiled at him and said, “That took a while.” She then accepted his confession and they kissed right there for the first time. In the same spot of where they spent their time when they first met. ✨

The End

Whoo! That was a LOT of work. Translators definitely deserve a lot of love for their work. They spend so much time studying their language and meticulously dissecting the meaning of the words in a foreign language to translate them into another language. All I did was pop some words into a machine and change them so they made sense. A real translator would put in a lot more work and the difference would be noticeable and would be worth it. Thank you to the original author for writing this! Thank you to all the translators out there! And Jean-Mika is awesome! (pls don’t kill me)

✨ Contexto de mi 80s AU ✨

Está basado en el Attack on Castes de Shingeki no Kyojin, obvio, pero está situado en los 80s, quería una excusa para hacer a Mikasa con maquillaje Trad Goth, aunque se que está subcultura sigue viva, ya que la Goth Mikasa situada en un AU actual es más tipo Hippie Goth o Nu Goth (aunque se que muchos no lo consideran como parte del gótico), Jean está basado en los actores y músicos más facheros que encontré de los 80s con el cabello largo porque si o si quería que tuviera cabello largo.

Ahora sí ✨La historia ✨

Jean siempre estuvo interesado en Mikasa, le parecía chistosa e interesante la forma en que la niña rara del salón hablaba, no lo hacía mucho, pero cuando lo hacía usaba palabras que Jean le parecían bonitas y cuando aprendió que era la poesía, supo que la forma de hablar de Mikasa era como escucharla.

Aún así, el pequeño Jean nunca se atrevió a hablarle, después de todo, era la niña rara de la escuela.

Cuando empezaron al secundaria no podía evitar notarla junto con sus otros dos amigos, igual se raros, Eren y Armin, el primero sin motivos para existir pero aún así lo seguía haciendo y el otro hablando de la saga esa llamada Star Wars y como estaba esperando las primeras partes de aquella saga. Era un nerd, un ñoño, pero parecía agradarle a la chica rara del pueblo.

Cuando regresaron para la prepa (High School) Mikasa había cambiado su apariencia, tuvo problemas con las autoridades estudiantiles por su apariencia extraña, maquillaje pálido con sombras oscuras, un delineado extraño, y sus labios pintados de negro, era difícil no verla, pero ella decía que si le prohibian vestirse y maquillarse de esa forma estarían en contra de su libertad de expresión. La llevaron a detención pero después de bastantes estira y afloja, decidieron dejarla vestir como quisiera, después de todo era buena estudiante. En ese tiempo Jean empezó a no querer ser un invisible más para la escuela pero lo único que se le ocurrió con sus habilidades de pelea, fue volverse en el busca pleito y delincuente juvenil, lo curioso es que solamente buscaba pelea en la escuela y raramente se le veía fuera de esta, aunque corrían rumores de que era parte de alguna pandilla.

Si escuchaba a alguien hablar de Mikasa, lo golpeaba hasta sangrar y si se atrevían a decirle a alguien que lo había golpeado por hablar mal de Mikasa lo volvía a moler a golpes, tenía una reputación que mantener, hasta que un día, gracias a qué nadie quería trabajar con la rara y el delincuente, fueron asignados a una tarea.

Pasaban mucho tiempo juntos en la biblioteca, haciendo su trabajo y luego en la casa del otro, poco a poco fueron desarrollando una complicidad y una amistad por ello.

Al principio el grupo de amigos de Mikasa, Armin y Eren no aceptaban esa amistad pero conforme se fueron conociendo, descubrieron que Jean no era tan malo, era un loser igual que ellos pero con la reputación de usar los puños para cualquier cosa. Tiene una relación de amigos-enemigos con Eren.

Después de pasar tiempo con Mikasa, se dio cuenta que tenía sentimientos por ella, tal vez esa curiosidad que le daba en realidad era algo profundo pero no estaba seguro si ella sentía lo mismo por él. El último año de escuela, decidió declararsele en la biblioteca, ella le sonrió y le dijo "Vaya, te habías tardado" y acepto su confession. En ese momento se besaron por primera vez ✨

Don’t Be like Me Lol

Here’s my art haul. I think some of this stuff was absolutely useless. The stencil book wasn’t the most helpful and the colored pencils probably weren’t a necessary buy. The stencil thing though did come in useful and the colorless blenders will eventually come in useful.

To all aspiring artists out there, don’t be like me lol. I can draw and improve my art just as well without these supplies. So, there’s no real point in buying them. ;-; Also, I should be drawing or writing, not posting on Tumblr. So please, get off Tumblr too and do something creative.

ACKERMAN!

I’m an Attack on Titan fan actually. But you probably already knew that since this is the first time you’ve seen a post from me. Honestly, Mikasa’s hair is cooler than I thought. It was definitely an interesting study of her hair and I’ll definitely be implementing parts of her hair into other characters.

When looking at one of my shirts, Mikasa actually doesn’t have any feminine anime eyelashes. I actually added one in which doesn’t really add much or take away anything from the character. Definitely not a comprehensive art study. Though I’ll definitely try to get in on doing more comprehensive art studies to help me improve.

Mikasa is definitely one of my favorite characters from AoT though Jean is my personal fav. Why didn’t I draw Jean? Well, Mikasa definitely has more interesting hair plus Jean’s goofy horse face is hard to catch so I decided to avoid him for now. To all aspiring artists out there, don’t be like me and instead face the challenge instead of avoiding it. lol.

Space Girl Sketch OC + BACKSTORY

This is a sketch of Lina from my original space story I will eventually color this in and ink it though I don’t have the time to do that currently. I previously did the same pose and character though the head was horribly out of proportion.

This shouldn’t be the last time you see this character though. The character was inspired by Aoi Kunieda from Beezlebub. I have not watched that anime, I just looked up character designs. Lina’s bangs also were influenced by Serena from Pokémon X&Y. I also see a little bit of Green (Female) from Pokémon Adventures. One of the tags was going to be Pink Hair however I then realized that I didn’t color this in yet lol.

Lina’s character however is not based on anybody. It may have subconsciously based her off of SOMEONE though I can’t say who because it was not a conscious decision.

WARNING: Long backstory and mention of semi-brutal deaths. (Deaths are only mentioned as “character dies” rather than describing how they die and how the blood goes everywhere)

Lina was originally the daughter of a 3rd Galactic Government Aristocrat. During her toddler and very young child days, she grew up in a very well and rich environment. Everyone was overconfident and felt rich. That was until a group of pirates invaded this planet to steal the riches from these aristocrats.

Lina’s mother and father were both killed in this invasion. The pirate captain however discovered Lina and found she had quite a fighting sense. (She kicked him in the leg pretty hard) He handed her a gun, and she killed a pirate instantly. The captain then told Lina that he would give her a home, food, and riches if she would kill her sister. The captain didn’t think Lina would do it, but she willingly did.

The captain took Lina under his wing after that. At that moment, the captain realized how horrible all this killing was. It all led to this moment where he made a young girl kill at such a young age. The captain was still a pirate though he saw another dimension to his actions.

The captain along with his first mate were basically Lina’s parents. The pirates had many feasts to celebrate their plundering so Lina was well-fed. She also got to sleep in some of the most comfortable cabins.

The captain and his first mate trained Lina how to fight at how to use weapons. Since she was so young, this fighting was embedded and etched into her mind. Lina was also trained on how to pilot a Starfighter of which she was very talented. It was all very natural.

The pirates kept her off the battlefield for quite some time due to her being small as a young child. By the time she was 11, she had grown quite a bit and was ready to fight and steal riches. The captain mainly kept Lina piloting a starfighter so she wouldn’t be caught in the fire down on the ground. Plus, he wanted her to hone her skills and practice more.

Lina became very attached to these pirates and was very close to [insert lady pirate]. Many pirates saw her as her equal except for one pirate. That one pirate was the friend of the pirate who got killed back when they discovered Lina. He always hated how Lina was able to kill one of their crew mates and get away with it. He was also jealous of her strength at such a young age.

So, he called upon the 3rd Galactic Government to destroy these pirates. He gave them the coordinates, and the pirates were ambushed. They were unprepared for combat so the pirates had to fend them off with their lives. Many of the pirates died though Lina let herself be captured so the captain, first mate, and her lady pirate friend could get away. The evil crew mate ended up getting away and joining the 3rd Galactic Government.

Lina was captured for a few days, not even realizing how much time had passed. She was able, however, to sneak around the 3rd Galactic Government ship and find a Starfighter. She was able to get away completely unnoticed. Her goal now was to find her pirate friends. Unfortunately, she had no idea where she was.

So, she spent her life on a planet not too far away for about a month, barely hanging on to life. She then decided to steal some fuel and take off with her Starfighter to continue searching the galaxy. She then encountered the Giustizia Separatist Organization. She at first fought them off because she thought they were enemies.

They then revealed their intentions, being to fight off the 3rd Galactic Government. They then stated that they noticed Lina’s skill and wanted her to join the fight. Lina agreed and decided to join as the 3rd Galactic Government was the one who took her pirate friends away. Though, now she is more coldhearted and becomes less attached to others due to her trauma from losing her friends.

Even though she encountered much violence, Lina never really experienced loss. Her parents and sister never really mattered to her as she was so young at the time. And every person the pirate stole from were “evil”.

In this drawing, she is around 17 or 18. She’s gained a lot of experience and is still more coldhearted. The battle against the 3rd Galactic Government seems hopeless right now. The Giustizia Separatist Organization is really only a grassroots organization. That is until a boy enamored with her and a good squad come along which change her life forever.

And THAT is Lina’s backstory! There’s so much more to be expanded upon with her! The pirates really need to be fleshed out more. And this isn’t even what I’d consider the “real” part of my space story. The “real” part is what comes after. Very exciting stuff, and I can’t wait to write more!

Remarkable Cats!

Hello there everyone and here are some of my drawings of some cats! The first one you see is Kelley and the second one is Smokey! Do you see how the smoke is coming out of Smokey’s tail?

This is really my first successful drawing of an animal. I drew a sea bass before but fish have easy anatomy lol. Cats are absolutely lovely creatures! This really isn’t something I put a ton of effort in. It’s just a sketch practice to expand my art abilities! I encourage y’all to draw cats if you’ve never done it before! There would definitely be a stark difference between a seasoned cat drawing expert and my artwork.

Kelley is noticeably a little stiff and almost lifeless but that’s because Kelley is actually a stuffed animal. I would say Kelley looks more lively in real life. I was too lazy to transform Kelley into a more realistic cat. I failed.

Another colored pencil drawing and this time it’s Serena! This is her Pokémon Journeys outfit from JN105. I actually have another one of her though I like the ears here a bit better.

I think the neck, ears, and body to head proportions are definitely wonky here. Notice how I drew the hands behind her back. I don’t feel like drawing hands right now lol.

She’s Back! [Dawn from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl]

I was unsatisfied with my previous result of Dawn this I drew her again. This result is a little more satisfying as it is more than just a head. However, the head does feel a little tall and the scarf is a little off. There will always be next time!

Out There and Everywhere!

The outdoors are beautiful! Just step into the wilderness and you will find greatness!

Unfortunately, some areas around are quite dry thus they do not look too great.

I was also able to get that photo on the train tracks because the train that now goes there is defunct. Some roads are built over the tracks thus I know it is no longer functional.

Grassland Rebrand

After looking at some other people’s vlogs, I thought to modify mine a bit to make it more commercially viable. After learning a bit about how to work tumblr, here I am with a fine result.

I have added some green colors which look nice and an avatar I like. Today was a nice day and due to rain, everything is green thus I was able to take some photos!
