For four long years, I dreamed of becoming a mother. I prayed. I hoped. I waited. And finally… I am carrying a life inside me.

Ojo (Original Character / Writing)

Forced myself to draw a character for a story I'm writing, so I can kinda force myself to think about how I actually want the world-building and aspects of her character to work. (excuse the stiff ass stance, off proportioning, fucked up shading/lighting, and whatever the logic behind the hair is. I just needed a vague image to conceptually work with to help when describing scenes.)

Another Lurwick I did, but didn't know where to place:

A little note: Lurwick isn't actually Lucifer. He just pretends to be to trick humans into taking him more seriously. Most other demons don't hold him in any high regard. Also, his eyes do expand and shrink. When Ojo is wearing him, they shrink; when Lurwick's not being worn, they grow large.

Inspired by the "Screaming Headless Torsos" Song "Wizard of Woo".

Been listening to a lot from this album of theirs recently. A fun little funky project. Also its important to note while I initially thought the character was singular to this track the "Wizard of Woo" is in reference to influential keyboardist and musician Bernie Worrell (or as some called him "The Wizard of Woo") known for being a part of Parliament/Funkadelic, Talking Heads, and working a bit with George Clinton.

"Atomic Dog", "Red Hot Mama", "Flashlight" That synth and keyboard work is all him.

something I quickly drew in medibang after watching half of "the hourglass sanatorium" (1973).

The movie sure knows how to set an atmosphere. unfortunate how they depict the Black French Soldiers, though. kind of puts a damper on the vibe.
