oh man belly and jeremiah are SO warm and loving with each other it makes me so soft. best friends to lovers will always hit different. the way they make each other laugh and support each other and the way they both look so unbelievably happy in a way we haven’t really seen them in the show with everything they’ve been through. when things got hard they never stopped trying to be there for one another; they didn’t leave or walk away. i don’t even care how it ends anymore, jelly have been the standout love story of this show to me and i will die on this hill. belly literally describes jeremiah as her soulmate, and her last love. “first loves are important, but not as important as lasts.”

B*nrad shippers are so funny to say, "OF COURSE Belly and Conrad are destiny! Jeremiah and Belly can't even say his name." But Belly and Conrad can't even date for more than 6 measly months and she's with his brother for 48, domestic-living, and ENGAGED. But you know, Belly|Conrad will always have summer and sour candy!

People, mark my words today ; If Jere had been a girl, everyone would have noticed that the writers accidentally described an SA.
Yes, we don't know if Lacie was high or not, but precisely, a doubt is posed, we know that she actively pursued Jere all week and seeing how she talks about it to her friends something tells me that she was much more aware of herself than Jere when it happened...
Seriously, imagined if Jere was a girl !
Look :
A girl just broke up with her boyfriend, goes on a trip to Cabo for 1 week with sounds, she is clearly emotionally fragile there since her breakup, and goes into zombie mode by constantly drinking and doing drugs (we know that Jere smokes weed) to the point of being completely stoned.
During this period she gets stuck by a guy who is clearly trying to get her / try to heat it up (a guy who we the viewers have no idea if he was in the same state of being stoned as the girl or if he was even stoned at all).
The girl explains that she ended up sleeping with this guy twice in a row but that it was like she wasn't really there and in the end, she ends up in the shower crying, thinking that she really wasn't good enough for her ex...
And the next time we see the guy, he talks calmly about this event, smiling and laughing with his friends who say that he is so lucky to have gone with this girl, to which he replies that what happens in Cabo stays in Cabo... 😬
Dare to tell me that people wouldn't point out that the guy essentially - took advantage of the catastrophic emotional state that the girl had during this week as well as taking advantage of the fact that as a result of this emotional state she went into zombie mode, constantly drinking and taking drugs - in order to be able to sleep with her.
Because that's essentially what Lacie seems to have done to Jeremiah honestly.
And I'm not saying that to try to discredit him because I never thought that about the book version. It's really specific to the show's catastrophic writing choices.
And the fact that no one except for the Jeremiah team (or some member of the Conrad / Bonrad team anyway) is talking about it shocks me to the highest degree.
People prefer to say that we're delusional and turn a blind eye to the fact that Jere simply screwed up and that Belly won't end up with him, so there's no point in making excuses for him... All I see is that you're so obsessed with your endgame that you refuse to see the writing flaws in the work, because as long as it goes in your twisted direction of bringing down Jeremiah, everything will be fine with you.

i love anika pointing out that whether or not they were broken up at the time is not the shitty part but that he purposefully didn’t tell belly he had slept with lacie barone in cabo, because that means he knows it was shitty! like yes, exactly!

Being a European, I probably was more familiar (with F1) than most Americans because it was always part of our culture. And then a few years, I don't even know how many years back, I met Lewis Hamilton, and, you know, we started talking. And then when this movie came about, I was really starting to talk to him and, you know, and so I think in a funny sort of way, so much of the inspiration and so much of what I was doing came from my conversations with Lewis. You know? And I just wanna give him credit that he, you know, it was like he was always sitting beside me when I was writing. - Hans Zimmer

One of the reasons Nobody Wants This is so great is because it’s about a relationship with two adults that know how to have a conversation when they’re feeling insecure or upset or if there was a misunderstanding. It’s also very funny and romantic. God tier romcom
