Young love (Roxanald)

I felt like drawing Reginald Crane back when he was a field agent, but I also wanted to draw more Roxanald artwork. So I decided to combine both of my ideas and draw Roxanald back when Roxana and Reginald were younger and when Reginald was a field agent.

First of all, look at this smug asshole. He’s such a little shit (affectionate)

He’s got a great voice (he literally sings the bond-esque opening number for the game). On a meta level he’s voiced by Wil Wheaton who I’ve admired as an actor since I first watched st:tng (note: Wil Wheaton is not his singing voice)

He took a job to help assist in worldwide attack with hacked nukes just because people said that his career as an actor was plateauing and he wanted to prove them wrong (despite being insanely rich from his career already) what kind of freak would do that? (Him💚🥰)

For being the antagonist in a spy game his resemblance to James Bond is uncanny. He ends up wearing disguises and infiltrating just as much as the main character. As a character he’s a fantastic twist on expectations. He’s also an expert marksman. Altogether it’s akin to Robert Redford’s character/casting in Captain America

He’s hot and I love a man in a suit

He kidnaps the player 😏

Now we get into some details and headcanons that solely exist in my fanfic series because canon gives us almost nothing else about him

He’s genuinely remorseful for the destruction he almost reigned down on the world. He was scared of becoming irrelevant and a billionaire took full advantage of it and manipulated him into it and then it snowballed from there until he was lost in pretending to be world leaders and going up against the player. Once the dust settled and he was arrested he was horrified with himself

He has a competency kink that leads to him falling in love with the player (obviously) but is also physically attracted to them

He gets jealous easily 😍

He fucking makes a movie about the various confrontations of him vs the player and then stars in it as the hero

He’s a seductive tease

So yeah

Those are some of my fave things about a man I’ve been obsessed with since 2021

I wish we knew more about him canonically but I’m also quite content with the fanon version that lives in my head (and is why I tag him so much on your posts lol btw I love that we match each others freak)
