The first (hopefully) annual Sailor Moon Villains Week will take place the week of October 1-7, 2023 (the first week of October) !

You may post your works on Tumblr, AO3, Deviantart, or anywhere you choose so as long as you link them in your Tumblr posts if they are off-site. All ratings are allowed, so long as NSFW work is properly tagged and follows the rules of the platform it’s posted on. Be sure to use the "read more" option if necessary (if you post a full fanfiction on Tumblr, to hide NSFW content, or potentially triggering content).

You can add your AO3 works to our designated collection for the event smvillainsweek2023, or our DA gallery for artwork here. Feel free to also use the hashtag #smvillainsweek23 on Twitter or Instagram too.

Submissions should focus on at least one villain from any Sailor Moon media (manga, 90s anime, musicals, live actions, Crystal) at their core along with the daily theme. Ships are allowed as long as they contained at least one villain within the pairing. It doesn't have to focus on or even include a ship, given this week celebrates the Sailor Moon villains. Basically, as long as you're writing/ drawing/creating something featuring a Sailor Moon villain, it's all good.

Imagine saying "go kys" over a ship then claiming you aren't a "shipper puritain" and have "problematic ships" yourself...

Thank you to tumblr for not having those hoes who seriously ship Ruby and Aqua here. I can scroll through the tag without having to feel like I need to kill myself.

That shit gets tiring real quick and I’m gonna be so mad when the chapter where Aqua is like “no” comes out because people over on every other site will be like 😮‍💨 knew Aka wouldn’t do this. Bitch you were just sayin’ the prev. week that incest was inevitable go kys. And don’t god damn use the I was joking as a meme excuse because you know damn well there are serious shippers for this.

As a little extra I’m no shipper puritan. I’ve had my fair share of problematic ships but the circumstances were different. When text and subtext tell you it is wrong and it shows you the disgusting parts of fame and highlighting how it is bad (stalking, murder, abuse, suicide, bullying, etc) then shows a plot point that you know will happen (Sarina was a kid who didn’t get any love from her parents found solace in Ai and Gorou and its not like those went away when she reincarnated) but the fandom has a history of being a degenerate (anime only viewers bullying Hana Kimura’s mom for one) I think I’m justifiably frustrated about this entire thing. It was the fact that when multiple polls about who Aqua should end up with were made that Ruby was second to Kana I fucking knew this fandom is doomed.

Damn, this is why I don’t interact with shonen and seinen stuff. This’ll be the first and last one I’ll dip my toes in for 2023. Istg if Kana didn’t exist I would’ve dropped it the moment I felt uncomfortable about Aqua��s confusing feelings towards Ai as a fan, doctor, and son or how he kept stringing along the girls (ty Himekawa and Ruby for saying how wrong he was for that <3), using and compromising Akane’s individuality (that god damn tracker) and made such a reckless promise to Sarina. Hah…

Damn I never was an Aqua/Ruby shipper and I don't really care for shipping in OnK, but this is hilarious to me. I just love seeing all the antis coping hard rn and the mental gymnastic they have to do to avoid the incest. It's hilarious to think they got invested for 123 chapters and THIS happened lmao

Even if Aqua/Ruby isn't endgame, you will never take away what Ruby just said on this page. This manga will forever be tainted by the incest xD

Submissions should have an LGBTQ+ character, ship or topic at their core along with the daily theme. It doesn't have to focus on or even include a ship, given this week also celebrates asexuality and trans identities! M/F pairings are allowed as long as one of the characters is LGBTQ+ and the work references their queerness. Bi/pan people in m/f relationships are still queer and valid. This also applies to trans people in straight relationships. Basically, as long as you're writing or drawing LGBTQ+ character(s), you're golden.

Old comic that I started to draw at least since 2 years ago, with my own original characters Kisaki Silvers and Shade Whiton (and later Hana). The latest pages are from around February 2022.
