So the usual plot for a reincarnated reader is someone modern thrown into a magical place right? I want to know if there is a post or fanfiction that's kinda reversed instead, A magical reader thrown into a modern world. If there's nothing then I'm making it myself

A/n: Yes I do genshin impact and twisted wonderland. This is just random and I don't think I would be making part two till I can think of the full storyline

The sounds of people chattering and wind blowing were heard as people strolled through the city of Mondstadt.

The legendary honorary knight Aether. Had just finished his preparations for his next adventure to Liyue along with his travel companion Paimon.

They setted off to their adventure to Liyue, after helping solve Mondstadts problem with Dvalin. And soon brought back peace to the city.

'Are they finally gone?'

Name thought to themselves while hiding in a alleyway looking left and right, the people passing by couldn't really notice the strange behavior of the person.

After Name confirmed the person who they were looking for was gone, they slowly got out of the alleyway and back into the light.

Name slowly walked into the city of Mondstadt, trying to not stand out too much and blend in with the loud crowd of people.

'You might be asking me, why the heck are you acting so shady Name?'

Name said, thinking in their head like they were some sort of narrator.

'To answer your question, I just want to avoid any important characters in the story! Because I want to live my peaceful life!'

Name continued to say those things in their head while glancing around their surroundings carefully.

Let's have an actual explanation now.

Name was a normal human, living in earth peacefully, or so they thought till they were crushed by falling cement when an earthquake was happening.

They thought it was the end and all of it will just be completely black, Till they suddenly got reincarnated as an NPC of Genshin Impact!

The body Name reincarnated wasn't really special, just another npc to fill in the surroundings. The npc had no name in Name's perspective, Heck when Name looks at the information of the NPC it would just be blank.

Name was confused at first with the sudden change, but then after 2 weeks of being in an NPC'S body they got used to it.

But they've read all the Mangas and shows, the moment you try to make contact with the Mc or an important character something is bound to come falling down on you.

So, name was actually going to be smart(ish), by avoiding contact with the important characters at all costs!.

The past 2 weeks it's been smooth sailing and their plan was working! All Name had to do was continue the plan for their entire life and it would feel just like home.. Kinda.

Present time, Mondstat city

Name wandered around the city for a bit, buying groceries and foods that can benefit them while also taking some unique things that they're unfamiliar with on earth.

Name looked around their surroundings for a few seconds, making sure that they were away from any important casts to not get dragged into destruction.

They sighed in relief after the coast was clear, they happily hummed a song holding their groceries and was making their way back home for lunch.

After all what happened, nothing too bad came up with their life. And Name wanted it to stay that way, peace and quiet without fighting and chaos. After all, They are just an NPC.

"Milk, butter, eggs, onion..."

Name checked their groceries, making sure they didn't forget anything. Unbeknownst to Name, they bumped into someone's back.

Name jolted a bit in suprise "I'm so sorry!" Name began to apologize to the person bowing their head a bit, after a moment they raised their head to look at the person they bumped into. Their heart dropping in the process

"Hm? Oh it's fine! Are you alright?"

A girl with a red headband and brown hazel eyes with long brown hair said to Name with a smile. Name couldn't believe that this was happening, just their luck that they bumped into Outrider Amber.

Amber is a kind and enthusiastic character in genshin impact, and also one of the first starter characters you achieve when you first start the game.

Name gulped and shaked their head, hoping they wouldn't mess up with their words

"No, I'm fine. I apologize for bumping into you, if you don't mind I'll be going now"

Name said turning around sweat dropping if they seemed like a nervous wreck, Amber tilted her head at Name's behavior

"You seem agitated, is there something wrong?"

Amber said raising a brow, Name shook their head again "No! Oh-- what I meant was there's nothing wrong, just in a hurry haha"

Name said in a more calm tone to lower down Amber's suspicions. Amber nodded placing her hand on her chest

"I see, well then please take care. If anything becomes a bother to you, just call Outrider Amber!"

Amber said in an enthusiastic tone, smiling at Name. They nodded "Will do, Thank you" Name said waving goodbye to Amber

"Good bye Name!"

Amber said waving goodbye to Name. Name continued to walk home with a smile on their face, feeling more calm and relaxed after the unexpected encounter with an important cast.

"I guess that wasn't so bad"

Name mumbled to themselves with a small smile, just as they were about to reach their door they stopped mid way. Their eyes slowly starting to widen

"Wait, When did I give my name to her?"

Grim

Be suprised he is actually surviving #1

Grim is your companion who you found while the apocalypse was happening, he was just too cute to be left alone! so, after some time of hesitation, you decide to keep him.

Grim is a curse and a blessing. He's got magic, so of course it will be much more easier dealing with the zombies than usual.

But Grim is also heavily reckless, he wouldn't even notice it till the last moment. Not to mention his big appetite, that makes you go scavenging for food more lately.

Grim has somewhat abandonment issues, you never knew what really happened to Grim before you found him. But he frowns a bit when you have to leave him alone for even a minute. (note; he understands when you have to go to the bathroom or any private things)

Ace

Be suprised he's actually surviving #2

Ace was a bit of a jerk when you both met; Both you and Grim where just doing some looting on an abandoned gas station, till you heard someone's voice from behind

Ace was really pushing your buttons when you all first met, he really couldn't just keep his mouth shut for even just a second

In the end, both you and Grim almost killed ace till he was basically spamming apologies to both of you

Ace offered to join both you and Grim on your adventures. You were pretty skeptical about ace, but he just kept annoying you till you accepted.

Biggest regret you ever made since Grim is already a handful, Now imagine another full on trouble magnet as a companion

You can't even count how many times buildings almost fell on your group

"Oh shi!- that's the third zombie group that almost jumped us!!"

Deuce

Victim of the idiots

Seriously, there's not a single moment where deuce can even find peace without getting dragged into it by the two trouble magnets

You didn't knew much about deuces past at all. He barely talked about it, seemingly embarrassed. But you didn't push it onto him

Deuce was just another survivor, but got dragged into the mess your group made after ace and Grim were running away from over 4 groups of zombies

Sooner he ended up joining your group by will. He's someone who tries to control both ace and grims recklessness but ends up failing miserably, give him credit though for atleast trying.

Deuce can put up a good fight which you're thankful for, the more power the more easier it is to deal with the apocalypse

It did suprise you when deuce showed his 'aggressive' side after a survivor was making him frustrated. You definitely did felt a shiver down your spine as you didn't expect deuce to also have a personality like that.

"(Name)! You're back from patrolling? That's good. The three of us were about to- Grim put that down! that can be poisonous!!"

Epel

"Aggressive princess"

Is what ace nicknamed epel when the group met him, Epel ended up almost giving ace a concussion

Epel was in a large group of people, The leader offered him a good deal which can benefit him and his family from the apocalypse

Boy was epel not prepared to be a barbie doll!

He hated it how he was treated 'girlishly'. Epel suffered through the strict and harsh leaders commands, he's very thankful for your group finding him and defeating his leader after their leader went berserk

Epel joined your group after the situation; He's a hard working person who does alot of labor for the group. Just don't tick him off!

Epel can freely express himself now because of your group, like he was finally broken free from a evil curse. Also kinda reckless but can control it more

"Oi! Waddya think ya doing!? Ya picking a fight?- Oh, Mornin (Name)! Don't min me, just gonna deal with this guy over here"

Jack

The favorite one

When you thought all hope was gone after you kept getting on trouble magnets for your group. The gods finally blessed you with jack

Jack is the other one that keeps the group maintained while also in shape

Occasionally gives the group some training and exercises in the morning; And is also one of the people who wakes up early

STRONG AS HELL

Jack comes from another group that he still keeps in contact. Jack choosed to join your group after a fight with his leader (of course your group also got dragged into the fight)

One of the few people with common sense and expirience, usually the one who sometimes leads the group when you're busy. Overall an angel

"Good morning (Name), Me? Accompanying sebek in patrol. You can come and join us if you'd like"

Sebek

LOUD MOUTH

You're so concerned how he's not even attracting any zombies with how loud he talks, especially when you bring up his leader

Can probably talk non stop about his leader which makes you want to just tape his mouth shut

But of course, he also has his positives.

Sebek also trains the group and keeps them in line, he may be a loud mouth but he also had some logical thinking I to him

Sebek is usually the one who plans the groups goals alongside you; He patrols your groups base in the morning for anything that can be of risk of danger

He's also VERY strong, if only he didn't had 5 microphones shoved inside his vocal cords

"(Name)!! What in goodness are you doing!? How can you do something so risky! Tsk Tsk, My leader would've never done such mistake"

You know what really makes him uncomfortable? His beloved (Name) and number one fan getting hit on by other idols!

You swear you could practically hear his heart pounding in his chest while he was scrambling to get out of this situation with his face red as his hair

The poor student who accidentally fired off the spell was collared and greeted with a red face Riddle who was both flustered and angry

LEONA:

Was it just you or was Leona being extra pestering this day?

Leona would pamper and tease you much more than normal and it was getting on your nerves

You tried to recall what you did to make him do things he wouldn't normally do but nothing came across your mind

This went on for days until you finally got tired of him and pinned him to a nearby wall where no students can be seen

You were towering over him with your gaze, one of your hand slammed towards the wall making it slightly shake cornering Leona by the wall

You snapped back to reality a few seconds later, your cheeks being red from what you just did

If he does find out, he will pull a reverse card and try it on you, he will be a bit hesitant at first since this is a foreign thing for him. But nevers hurts to try something new

He's be so confused and flustered on why we are like in an anime or otome game, and why is he the 'weak damsel' in this position. He would've preferred if he was the big one you know? But, in the bottom of his heart, he didn't mind this position.

When you finally realized what your doing and retract your arm, idia is on the floor, hood up knees close to him and begging for the darkness to swallow him.

Rumours started to spread in the school, on how the new prefect student that started to become more famous by the day, Has have favorites and least favorites judging by how they act around them; But surely it wouldn't be (character name) wouldn't it? They have work so hard just to build a strong relationship with you in their perspective only to hear news that there's a possibility that they may be least favored

THE DORM OF HEARTS

The dorm will always be a classic to most players playing. Surely you must love them on how they were the very first to greet you and make you feel amazing, right?

Ace wouldn't be too happy nor sad about the rumors circling around, I mean come on. You've been best buddies since the very beginning! Surely he hasn't ticked a bomb off you once right?...

Deuce would be calm in the outside but panic in the inside; there's so many chances of being least favored, I mean there's so many more thats worthy of you!, instead of him..

{Cute boy trying hard to get noticed by you, any praise and affection by you will not be wasted by him. He will protect you no matter what! Just place your trust in him and be his 'friend' all right?; Deuce can be protective at some times but the aftermath is always leaving you trying your best to not let deuce smash someone's head onto the floor

Trey has no problem with it at all, rumors are just rumors right? Now go ahead and eat this extra sweets that no one knows about and is favoring you a bit. Don't let his smile and parent like Aurora fool you tho, he will glady manipulate you.

{Trey always seemed like a parental second year, taking care of the students of his dorm and guiding everyone. Sweets and foods is one of the reasons you visit heartslabyul daily, Food is what everyone needs and everyone loves. So trey would be sliding through extra sweets and foods that makes your heart go warm, he'll spoil you whenever he feels like it. But, He would start developing some sort of manipulative behavior around you, making you think you need him and him only. He'll pull some strings, just for you. So please just don't forget him okay?

Riddle is not so over joyed with this rumor, what nonsense of favorites are these students talking about!? *continues to lean in a bit in any conversation regarding about you*

{it was clear on riddles mind that he just might, MIGHT not be your most "appealing" first meeting, and then there was the overblot...riddle is trying his best to make up for it tho! He swears!; he has found a weak spot that can always get you under his thumb. His mother, he was so disappointed in himself but then seeing you glady accompany him, comfort him and be with him the whole day made butterflies in his stomach, with you by his side the rest of the day to make him feel better after venting about his problems with you and feeling your warm aurora around him.. Just felt so wrong but right. You were meant to be his and he was meant to be yours

Cater is kinda used to all these rumors, he's known you like the back of his hand!, no meer rumor can bring him down!

{A meer rumor did bring him down. He's known you for while now but he can't just know what your thinking! He'll overreact a bit on the thoughts and may have made a unknown magicam account to tell his thoughts about this and started become possessive on chat. This unknown messager made you creeped out and uncomfortable and told cater immediately about this creepy user. Yes he felt hurt for you calling him creepy but seeing you go to him, not any one else. Made him have butterflies in his stomach.

“You know I don’t like you, right,” It wasn’t a question, a statement to make sure that you truly understood, and upon seeing your confused and distraught face, he lets out a low annoyed sigh, turning fully to you. Like a mother having to pull her child away and scold them for thinking that whatever they did wasn’t okay. Yet there’s no love, to apologetic undertones, nothing.

“I do not like you. Listen, I don’t know what gave you that impression, but no.” He turns back to his task, leaving you to merely stand there, shocked and silenced. You step away, turning from the man that just shattered your heart before a soft ‘wait’ makes you glance back with a glimmer of hope. He’s not looking at you, but there’s a bit of humor in his tone.
