Now this. This is how siblings act.

I like to think that out of Dick and Jason, Jason is the one who's constantly bugging the other.

Like, resurrection, crime lord era, him vs the bats, yada yada yada, but now they're all good. So obviously, this means that Jason has to bother Dick. He has to. It's required by law.

So, Jason will randomly travel a good hour or so just to break into Dick's apartment and raid his fridge. Dick won't even be home. So he ends up coming back later with Jason passed out on his bed. There's snack wrappers everywhere. The bathroom carpet is wet and his shampoo bottle is significantly lighter. The TV is still on. And his brother is hogging his bed. He has to sleep on the couch of his own home.

Or Dick will be doing some work in the Batcave, and Jason will just get the urge to go bother him. So he walks down to the cave, finds Dick at the computer, and just starts poking him. He doesn't stop when Dick looks at him with frustration. When he's satisfied, he just turns around and leaves.

Dick is on a stakeout and just waiting for the perfect moment to jump these dealers, when all of a sudden, Jason plops down next to him, sipping a Dr. Pepper. The criminals get away. Jason does not help. He just sits and watches.

Dick needs a break. Maybe a spa day.

The way people flanderize these characters is honestly so painful. Like yeah, some of them might be a bit better than others in some stuff but all of their abilities are extremely high.

Look, I can understand if u try to highlight an ability to give each character a bit more of substance or their own traits in ur fanfic/story, but you DON'T have to put the others down to do so.

I wish Bruce was portrayed more often like this in canon. Being supportive with his children and treating them with love. You know, actually being a father to them. Instead, we have Bruce hitting his children for the 2937th time

When the Batkids all realise Bruce is so tooth rottingly supportive of his family, they start a competition to test just how far this support goes.

Jason makes tshirts with crude sayings and even cruder drawings on them.

Bruce wears them without question.

Tim makes an app that just tells you what your nut of the day is.

Bruce uses it everyday.

The rest of the clan try it themselves and only stop when Dick hires out a theatre and preforms a one man play slash interpretive dance for all the family.

Bruce is the only one to not pull out their phone or look bored even when the performance goes into its forth hour.

After that they realise there is no ceiling. They could do anything and Bruce will be behind them 100 percent.

They are each other's anchor. They keep the other centered by giving them the sense of humanity, normalcy and understanding that they so often lose and crave for <3

You know what really gets me ? The fact that Bruce might be one of the only people who's ever seen Clark bleed up close, and Clark one of the few who's ever seen Bruce cry. They’re both symbols of strength but when they break, it’s the other who's there. And, in both cases, they can only hold each other tight.
