Nick and Billy returned to Billy’s house the next day. Nick managed to sleep throughout the car ride even though he had been sleeping a lot lately. He did have to recently churn through a couple of meals at the same time. Once they arrived home and sat down on the couch, Nick said, “I think we need to slow down a bit.”

Billy replied, “On what?”

Nick said, “On eating guys. I feel like we’re getting a little bit out of control.”

Billy shrugged slightly and replied, “Don’t you want to be a bit out of control? Indulging your every ounce of hunger?”

The phrasing of Billy’s reply gave him a twinge of pleasure. “Yeah, but if I go around eating everyone in sight I think people are going to notice.”

“Well, you can eat them too,” Billy said and patted Nick’s huge belly.

Nick was electrically attracted to the idea Billy was saying. After all, it had been a part of most of his dreams ever since becoming a predator. Nick turned towards Billy and asked, “Have you dated gainers before?”

Nick texted and called Billy several times throughout the day to try to talk to him, but no responses. Nick walked to the back of the bar where there was a single bathroom and a door labeled ‘Employee’s Only’. Nick heard a groan of some kind coming from the bathroom so he opened the door. It only opened about halfway before it hit something, which Nick quickly realized was Billy on the ground with his belly face up.

“Billy! I need you to move away from the door,” Nick shouted then pressed harder on the door, which seemed to slide Billy enough that Nick could squeeze into the bathroom. This place didn’t have any cameras and no one else seemed to be around. Nick took one step into the bathroom and paused. He turned to the right and saw the door that said ‘Employee’s Only’. Might as well check to make sure there isn’t something in there that could help.

Nick opened the door to a frightened man in the corner of the room holding a broom outwards as if it were a javelin. Well, shit, time for some acting. “Hey, are you alright?” Nick said to the man.

“H-h-h-h-h-he ate the bartender. He ate a guy!” the man stammered and shouted.

“Who? There’s no one out there, please calm down and let me help you,” Nick said softly as he slowly walked towards the man.

The man seemed to calm down a bit and lowered his broom. “I’m not crazy, I know what I saw. I gotta call the police.”

As the man pulled out his phone, Nick slapped it out of his hand and stuffed his head into his mouth. As the man’s head entered Nick’s throat he screamed so loud the vibrations gave him a headache. Nick locked the bathroom door behind him and sat down in front of it as if he were a human doorstop. This time eating two guys at once didn’t feel as cumbersome, but it was still late and Billy was going nowhere. For some reason he wasn’t as anxious about the whole situation and was able to fall asleep sitting up against the bathroom door fairly easily. Hopefully, there isn’t a dayshift that comes in they’ll have to eat on the way out.

Nick walked over towards Billy who slurped up the feet of his guy right as he got next to him.
