“What is this all about?” Maron asked and looked around the graveyard. “Why did you ask me to come here?”

“Oh, I’m not waiting for anyone. I just like to come here once in a while..” she told him and gave him a warm smile, shrugging her shoulders. “This is actually a nice place to come to and think.” 

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Maron. Can I ask what you’re doing waiting around here? It’s going to be a while till my cousin shows up. Maybe we can get to know one another.”

“I’m Maron. Kusakabe Maron.” she told him and gave him a small smile. “It’s nice to meet you, Hatsuharu-kun.” she said and nodded her head at him. The brunette felt a strange aura around him and wasn’t sure if she should be worried or not. 

“Thank you. That’s kind of you. I didn’t catch your name. I’m Hatsuharu Sohma.”

“Oh..” - “No, you can sit here if you want.” she said with a small smile and looked at the male for a moment before she looked away again.

Maron clenched her fist together and ignored his question. He was so rude, she wanted to kick him to the moon- but then it suddenly hit her. 

He reminded her of someone.. someone she lost in a fight.. someone she couldn’t protect from the demons. “Zen-kun..” she whispered and stared at him for a while before she shook her head. “U-Uh.. my name is Maron, Maron Kusakabe.”

“were you gonna say something?” it was cute seeing her get frustrated like that. there was always something about the way a pretty girl fumed that brought even just the hint of a smile to his face. maybe he just liked ‘em ferocious. “alright. alright. you got an actual name then?”

“I’m sure that even you have an angel, taking care of you.” Just thinking about Fin, her angel friend, made Maron smile from ear to ear. She missed her so much and was wondering when she would come back to her. “Oh, right.. My name is Maron, Maron Kusakabe and I live near by in an apartment on the other side of the street..” 

【✎】”I’m not sure if I believe in them, but it would be fascinating to see one in real life. I’ve always heard of them when I was younger.. I do like the idea.. the painting may take some time since I rarely get the chance to make wings..” He cleared his throat and turned over to his painting. “What’s your name, anyway? I-I don’t think I can deliver if I have no idea who and where you want me to hand it to you..”

Maron looked up to him as he asked her where she’d get the idea from. She bit her lower lip lightly and laughed softly. “Do you believe in angels?” she asked and shrugged her shoulders. “Because i do.. I believe that they are here, trying to protect us.. some are really small and tiny, such petite figures.. and so cheeky too!” she smiled as she thought about her green haired friend who went back to heaven. 

【✎】”That’s an interesting concept… where’d you get the idea from..?” His eyes looked over to her with a bit of fascination. Usually Zion would take on requests like scenery and models in it, but never an angel.

“W-whats wrong with me?” Maron shook her head in disbelief then wiped her tears before looking at him. “You are unbelievable.. you know that?” 

The young man with eyes made of moon bristled, his very honor wounded by the young woman’s words. Having his intentions put into question wasn’t on his list of likes, especially when the one that had him on trial was a girl. “Just relax,” he snarled, eyes flashing. As he spoke, furious, blue hair spilled over his shoulders.

“I wasn’t lying about anything, all right?! Jeez, how many times do I have t'tell you I didn’t do it? What’s wrong with you?”

“It can be delivered.. “ she said and smiled from ear to ear. “Could you, maybe.. paint an Angel for me? One with long green hair..” she closed her eyes, that smile on her lips faded. “With a kind and beautiful face..” 

【✎】”Amazing sounds a bit too much, but thank you.” When she asked for a request, he looked over to the other. “I don’t mind painting something for you.. do you want it now or delivered..?”

“Wow.. you really are amazing!” Maron smiled brightly and looked at him. “Would it be rude if I asked you to paint something for me too?”

【✎】”Well, that’s good to hear,” he kindly clasped his hands together as a sign of relief. “Hope my client likes it just as much as you do…. Took about a whole night to finish it up.”

“T-talky?” Maron couldn’t believe that he gave her a name. “You little-” she stopped herself and exhaled sharply before looking at him again.

“rudest, eh? do i get a crown with that title, talky?”

“O-Oh..” Maron turned her head to him and smiled softly. “I’m sorry, its just.. its so beautiful!” 

【✎】”D-don’t touch, please,” he shyly ordered the other to stop poking around his painting. “The painting is still wet…”
