Anyways, a thought that's been on my mind: how would Nicolae react to someone who loves vampires who would allow him to drink their blood in exchange that he doesn't drain them completely? Cause I'd probably make a deal like that to a vampire- (either that or ask him to turn me into a vampire too-)

Haha, but really, Nicolae has been around so long that he has definitely met people like that before. But unfortunately, you can't take a monster at his word. If he doesn't have a good reason to keep the person alive (good help is so hard to come by, blood is not) then he would probably agree then drain the person anyway.

I think that other anon was asking how you chose Huxley's name, not how to pronounce it!

Oops! I totally misread it. I think I went into that once before but basically it was a succession of names stemming from a pun on the type of toy he is. Dahlia has "Doll" in her name and Huxley was going to be Harley, like a harlequin. But then I thought that was too common and makes people think of Harley Quinn, so I was going to call him Hawley, a similar name. But I felt that name was a little awkward out loud (easy to mishear or mispronounce) so I changed it again to Huxley, because again, similar but has a cute sound.

do B&S vamps have straw fangs or do they drink how we drink (throat)

Their fangs do have hollows but not for sipping like a straw. They can distribute venom! Nicolae touches on this in one of his lines in the demo. But for drinking, they're just for puncturing / tearing.

Question, in the demo, you said you can die four times, and ive only managed to find three. Are all the deaths (that arent of my own volition) on Ramsey's side, or is there one on Nicolae's route that im just missing

There is a single death in Nicolae's route! Maybe you're just too good at swordfighting. 🤺

How did you choose Huxley's name? I know a trans person IRL who named themselves Huxley after the character in your game so I've always been curious!!

It's there for a little Old Man flavor. Nicolae wasn't old when he was turned but there are bound to be some little signs of age when you hit Elder Vampire status.

He was more comfortable talking but he would have definitely still been scared to be touched or picked up!

Wait, how do people get turned into vampires in this universe? It's implied that Nico has bitten Ramsey before (and shown in the 666 downloads art, but that's dubiously canon), and he wasn't turned.

In Blood & Sherry, a vampire must drain their victim to near death and then feed the victim their vampiric blood. A vampire can bite all they want without worry.

Wisker- Sea Bunny. Not even a mermaid one, just straight up a Sea Bunny.

it'd be cool if there was an easter egg about setting your name as "nicolae" or "ramsey" in B&S! i thought it was funny how they just never acknowledged that we had the same name when i tried it lol

Haha, I was so frustrated while making that screen I didn't consider it. But I do need to remake the screen to be more mobile friendly. Maybe I'll include some easter eggs for all the names mentioned in the game when I go to do that.
