If we get married, our families will get off our backs. We can live in peace.

If life ever gives you the chance, please tell your mom the words that I could never find the courage to tell my parents: Love is not a sin.

grave apologies for being dumb but what do you mean by "i live in the disapora."? i googled obv but there are these super complicated articles and research papers citings that i dO NOT UNDERSTAND
hii hello! no need for apologies, i should probably rephrase that in my about anyway lmaoo, it just means that i live outside of india, where i’m from! a diaspora refers to a community that lives together outside of their original country; historically it meant a community that left their homes involuntarily and now live outside of said country. hope that clears it up!

Whenever people don’t understand a kind of love, they try to suppress it. But this is our battle. And even we deserve a happy ending.

This is against the laws of nature.
Hasn’t this very nature created Saira and Sitara? Have they been created by another God?

this is just me solely trying to get all you north indians to watch & support some south indian lgbt (short) films for once--namely a tamil one. recently i was on the prowl for indian lgbt media and i found this short film called magizhvan (translates to gay) on youtube.
it’s a tamil film with english subtitles (that’s also interfaith--one of the boys being hindu and the other being muslim) about two men who decide to come out to one set of parents and their reactions to it and how they come to accept them in the end. it’s pretty good, runs about an hour long, and as a tamil person, it hit super close to home. it’d be cool if y’all could take the time to check it out and support some south indian and specifically tamil endeavours in lgbt media!
here’s the link to the film on youtube!
