I don't, sorry to burst your bubble. You're only a few years older than me, and if I think that's old, I have a rude awakening.

Like me when I think I'm being shot at. I'm surprised you didn't hear me, it was so loud.

I'm really glad I'm not the only one. I'm pretty sure my neighbor thought I was crazy.

It was nice to make new friends, especially men. It meant she was moving on, and that was a good thing. She laughed at his comment on the weather. "Alright. Fun fact of the day. Some guy at the restaurant today asked me if we served hummingbird tongues. Come to find out it's a delicacy in some places. But we do not, in fact, have that on the menu."

Charlie laughed as he fixed her drink. "Sure, Sylv. I'll believe that when there is an awkward silence." she teased. "Weather, we could always discuss the weather." she joked. "Or any other topic of small talk that I seem to stumble into in this town."

Charlie laughed, "It's not boring." she assured him. She thought it would actually be a relaxing place to come, if it weren't for some of the people. "And you are not boring, either." she said, throwing her voice for him to hear and shaking her head with a grin. "Jack is fine. Unless you want to mix it with some coke." she continued, happily taking her mind off of the assholes behind her. At least for now.

"Me too. It's so wild to think that one generations scary is another generations humor. I wonder how people in the future will react to Friday the 13th or Texas Chainsaw Massacre." she said with a laugh. "And only the best for my Dougie." she teased.

"I just love how different generations see different things. Like we laugh at these, but when they came out they could have been scary, that鈥檚 great." Doug laughed. "More food. You鈥檙e spoiling me with your cooking, my god."

Charlie smiled once Sylvan returned, "Yeah, I can believe that. They don't seem to fit in." she said with a shrug." And don't worry, I will." she assured him. She would definitely tell Sylv if they made her any more uncomfortable. But not just yet, she could handle it for a little while longer. As long as they didn't talk to her. She took the next shot as he walked back over to deliver the drinks.

Charlie smiled, happy she could help a little. "Anytime." she said, "And most people think that. One person ruins it for everyone. I wont lie and say I haven't done it." she said as he poured her another shot. She knocked it back as he was called away. He was at work after all. She turned around to see the inhabitants of the bar, and unfortunately locked eyes with one of the entitled assholes that were giving the waitresses a hard time. He smiled deviously at her and gave her a wink. Charlie gave him a disgusted look before turning back to the bar, hoping that would be the end of it. But she had a feeling it wouldn't be. If they drank much more she knew she wouldn't get out of there before at least words were exchanged.
