Part 2 of Splinter’s Origin

The segments that show the present take place in a storage facility where Saki hid a bunch of his experiment documentation/research, hidden from detection of the public’s (and Bishop/the government’s) view. The segments that show the past take place in Saki’s laboratory.

Before Don and Splinter took it upon themselves to investigate the abandoned storage unit in this comic, Splinter had vague memories of his life before he got mutated into a rat. Once he picked up his own document, however, his painful memory of mutating returned. From this moment on, more of his memories of his life as Hamato Yoshi will gradually come back to him.

Before you scold me about how amazing of a father RiseSplinter is compared to 2012Splinter, I would like to helpfully remind you that RiseSplinter’s sons’ spent years chasing Lou’s validation and Yoshi is continually depicted causally telling his boys that he is proud of them as well as the fact that even if Donnie did make him more retromutageon, he would rather remain with them as a mutant down in the sewers than return to his previous life as a human.

I get how reckless all of them can be, but that's just how siblings usually are. ALSO??? he's usually the one who provoked them first hdjsksla

my personal problem with this though, the reason why it looks like Mikey's the victim is because the writers never let him stand up by himself and rather just gave him more annoying traits instead of balancing it with the good ones

all he is as a character is the group punching bag as he also carried the "clown" trait. let the guy get more characteristic oml

I don't blame the fandom for giving him such depressing content because of this reason only lmao
