So, fun fact, one reason I've been quiet is that I've been writing a very, very long No Future (by @kura-lee) AU fanfic which I'm unfortunately unable to share (yet) due to Too Many Spoilers. At the time of writing I'm past sixty thousand words. help. also read No Future I'm obsessed

However, you know what I can share? Stupid comics set in the same AU. Taking advantage of the 24 hour comic challenge, enjoy a traditional art comic drawn by yours truly!

I made a comic in 24 hours! I was encouraged by @lyricpersonarts and @kkmcshouty to do it :D

The result is under the readmore, and its the start of the situationship between Ozone and Mixam, which are OC inspired by the webcomic gloomverse by Crayon Queen

If you didnt understand what was going on or why either of them would do that, the gist is that Ozone is too sure of himself to think a meeting may be a trap or a sting operation, and Mixam does not want his drug dealer to be caught by the police and rat him out. Since he can't leave on his own while injured, Mixam has to keep him home until he can. And maybe something will happen in the meantime.

Can I go over 24 Panels for my comic? Yes! 24 is the bare minimum you can go as far as you want as long as you have at least 24

Can I arrange my panels in unconventional ways? Yes! Formatting doesn't matter at all

Do fully black/white/single color panels count? Yes, but only as long as they contribute to the story, for example, if you want a pause using a totally black panel that's perfectly fine! when in doubt though, you may not want to count it

Can my comic be completely silent/does it need text? Nope! Silent comics are perfectly fine!

More code stuff cause funnily enough this is somehow easier to post progress on than actual art. That said, I'm slowly but steadily building my own stream overlay for twitch!

Worst part of this is was the fact that the documentation would have you think that you need to replace the emotes one by one in the code (since the emotes start as just text) but NOPE. When getting the chat messages through StreamerBot there's this fun little section titled "parts" which has the message pre-setup and ready to go in cute little pieces, telling you if they're emotes or normal text or not and they're all in order too! Unlike the section labeled "emotes" which for SOME reason is sorted by id and not position.

tl;dr/say that again in english: I wrote 300ish lines of intricate code just to find there was a simpler way to do it. So simple I'd say it would be usable to teach to beginners as an example project ;; I was able to reuse about 50 lines with minor modification but man. I wasn't expecting EMOTES to take two 9hr days to properly code in

just updated the Hero/Villain Ability Generator Site! I needed like, 20 abilities and wanted a way to keep them without having to write them down or just copy paste, so you can now right click (or press and hold if on mobile though this site is very not mobile friendly) to remove abilities from the list! should make the page more user friendly.

If it's not working try doing a hard refresh, there's a link to instructions on the webpage itself!

Wanted to involve fans more in Hero/Villain and also didn't want to design more background characters myself, so this is @arttaic 's character they conceptualized and submitted! She was then drawn by yours truly to get this final ref! She'll be featured in the background in beach scenes, college scenes, and if the plot takes them to an art store, she'll be working there too!

Now for the final part of the catching up with instagram tour, the new background artstyle for Hero/Villain in all it's glory! I'm so happy with how it turned out, and best yet I have color pallets ready to go at a moment's notice for when im doing the comic now for any time of day, it's SO great.

Part 2 of I'm horrid at remembering to cross post, there was apparently a trend on tiktok that made its way to insta about what monster people would be if they were one and well, this absolutely ridiculous mess happened.

In fact it took about 20 hours of work, 7 of which were live on twitch cause I decided if I was going to suffer to try and get this done before halloween was over (spoiler: I didn't get it done in time but shhhhhh), I might as well do it with good company.

Also let it be known that the speedpaint for this is a whopping 17 minutes long.

Decided to do an october challenge last second this year, and found an old list for genshin impact! been wanting to draw more genshin, and this is a GREAT excuse.

The first prompt is "First Main," which for me was Kaeya! I mained this man for almost 4 years, and only started switching off him in late inazuma

Also, despite being a daily challenge, I'll probably be going through these slowly over the next few months since I have other stuff on my plate, and I only work on these while I'm in calc class ^^;
