The isolated son of a strict high school principal and a conservative Rabbi, Jake never had much luck in friendship as a teenager. Now twenty and finally moved out on his own, he’s found himself floundering in social matters. All six dates he’s been on have been disasters- not his own fault, not really, just the result of bad tinder matches- which is why he’s hoping to find a safer route to love through this bachelor challenge.

Jake is a sweet guy, just a touch unlucky. He’s always loved helping people and hopes to become a pediatric surgeon some day, just not today. For now, he’s relishing the freedom he’s got now that he’s out from under his mother’s thumb. So far, Jake has gotten into only a bit of trouble- a few recreational drugs here, a one night stand there- but nothing too serious. He’s not really like that.

The idea of trying new things and meeting new, interesting people is enough for Jacob to overcome any shyness and anxiety to apply as a contestant- and who knows, maybe he’ll find his first love! (The captain of the rugby team in freshman year doesn’t count)

About the bachelor:

Theo is a 21 year old eccentric personal trainer who owns a successful 24 hour gym in the heart of del sol valley.. because of his ever growing schedule he hasn’t had the time to spend on doing anything but swiping right or left for a fleeting fling. Theo can’t quite reach the same feeling he had when he was a star athlete in highschool but hed like to try.. and he’d like to try with someone whos as in love with him as he is with them. Coming off of a 2 year marriage and a disaster fling with a former high school love.. theo still has hope that he can find the right one to handle his ever growing crazy. ;)
