First walk of 2025 - a visit to Tentsmuir.
I moved to Dundee just over ten years ago and very quickly fell in love with this beautiful forest. We wandered out to wards the Ice House for the first time and found some wonderful things in-between - including a small homestead on the edge of the forest which looked out on to the stretch of dunes towards the sea.
Hundreds of new pine trees throughout the area were incredibly promising - especially after how many have recently fallen with the strong wings hitting the coast recently.
