The idea of soulmates had long since been romanticized even before the first pair of Words were recorded not long after the dawn of quirks. The first words your destined would ever say to you printed across your skin. A promise in plain ink. A guarantee of a perfect future with the one person that would understand you better than anyone else.

Everyone had someone. Even if they never met their soulmate, even if one died before the other was born leaving a smear of watercolor gray across delicate infant skin, even if the bond didn’t work out in the end.

I love the idea of Tenya and Izuku deciding to live together for whatever reason

Everybody thinks they are going to be so organized and clean and everything is going to be so calculated in the house that they are super surprised when it's not like that

Izuku leaves multiple things on the floor all the time and Tenya just refuses to pick them up after nearly dislocating his arm once and now Izuku has to do a cleaning of his things at least once a week

And Tenya sounds very organized but he pass days organizing other things than when he finishes doing that the house and his workplace are a mess that he has to plan how to organize and it's just a lot of work now

The place is clean and nice, but is very probable that you will trip with objects, papers and different projects that are around the floor

And they cuddle in a sofa most of the time because they both are very cold when not moving

They have plants around in the windows and usually forget to water them, they never die tho because they are very aware of them

And between the two they know like five basic foods and usually go outside to eat, or ask Katsuki to come to the house so they can eat something good (their parents also help sometimes)

They sleep together sometimes, mostly after difficult missions that leave them tired, scared or shaken

And just, them, being a mess together but waking up to their best friend making breakfast so they can head outside and face another day

Some people asked why I have IiDeku as a rarepair and it’s because 50% of all stories with IiDeku are either an OT3, harem or part of a one shot series of multiple ships. A further percentage have it as the background ship or it’s a blink and you’ll miss it mention.

So the reason I say it’s rarepair is I can’t find many good fics where it’s a focus. That’s what I count as a rarepair

This is such an underrated pure-hearted moment between these two.

Iida racing over to Izuku as soon as he walks in to announce them having beef stew (iida’s favorite meal) and Izuku is excited with him.

Iida just never stops being funny to me. In episode 123, when asked why he was tagging along with the heroes running to support in the fight against Shigaraki, despite not having a flying quirk, he legitimately responds with, “two of those students in the fight are my treasured, cherished friends. The other one is Bakugou”
