if you are a man that likes women, you are straight.

“no cis man respectfully crumbling” have you ever seen a guy with a crush? society expects men to be unflappable and stoic and not have any deep emotions, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have them. calling these emotions “gay” is super old-fashioned and homophobic. expecting that men can’t fall in love the same way women can is also really sexist.

“any relationship with a trans person is queer as far as i see it” can you imagine a cis person saying that? can you imagine going up to a happy man and woman in a relationship and saying that they’re not straight because of their AGAB? that’s transphobia, and trans people in this day and age get away with it so often.

like i’ve said previously

i’m a trans guy that loves women. but i don’t love women in the way men do. i love women the way lesbians love women. but i’m not a lesbian. and calling myself a lesbian makes me feel very uncomfortable. but i still feel like straight isn’t correct either. because straight attraction is different from queer attraction in a very noticeable way. but if i call myself gay, that would imply that i’m into men, which i’m not. i just don’t know what to call myself now.
