i did not!! and if I ever DID finish it someday, there are numerous changes I’d want to make to it first to make it less uhhhh problematic. 2013 Homestuck fandom humor aged like milk lol.

Heya, I wanted to ask if the spotify / apple music streaming releases of Stuck This Way have been authorized by you? I think the artist "Broadway Homestuck" probably includes covers that weren't by you, bc. it's got that -and- like... an album Treblestuck that opens with Karkalicious, which... I think is by Superspecks, who is someone else?? unless I'm mixing stuff up? which is a possibility lol. and a Lot of other covers, I have no idea if those are also by other artists

but yeah thought I'd ask because this artist has got a lot of plays on Spotify, and IDK if there are proceeds from covers anyway, but I'd want you to know if the fair part of those were going to someone besides you

Yeah those are stolen (and you’re right, not all of them even belong to me). I haven’t seen a single cent from those songs on streaming platforms :( I never sought monetization for my Homestuck music in the first place because they are all collaborative fanworks & aren’t mine to monetize!!

So while I understand everybody wants (and should have!) easy access to streaming those songs, it’s still pretty of icky if someone else is profiting from them dishonestly.

girl today i was humming a tune that was from one of your old animations (the one where a beam shoots out of you and there are a lot of characters there, its a bit hazy i feel like i was in middle school when i saw it) and i was like "OMG KYLEE HENKE" and I went on like a mission to find u again. Im glad to see ur still online, even if its minimal; ur content was so influential to me growing up and im convinced i would not be who i am today without ur art. To this day i still admire how open u are/were with who you are and what u like, it inspires me to keep on trying my best to be myself everyday. anyways, thank u for being super cool for all this time :>
