Although it seems like he picked Jonghyun because he’s NU’EST’s leader but there’s already a video from the past that showed young Kim Jonghyun’s leadership

It’s a video from 5 years ago called JR’s Hidden Cameraㅠㅠ Recently wartortle’s fans increased so there might already be lots of people who’ve seen it but I hope more people see it (OP screenshots parts of the video, but the link is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO3aUyoXUFA)

They decided to do a game about drinking Americano with vinegar put into it. Baekho’s (now Dongho) coffee had a little bit of vinegar, but Jonghyun’s coffee had lots of vinegar put into it

Now, once Dongho drinks the vinegar coffee and gets really angry, what will Jonghyun’s reaction be? this is what the hidden camera was about

Dongho drank one mouth and “ugh”-ed but Jonghyun kept drinking it ㅋㅋㅋ (just to repeat, the coffee with the vinegar bomb is Jonghyun’s)

Dongho: (why in the world is he drinking this…)

Dongho puts down the coffee and keeps saying he can’t drink it and that he’s annoyed and he can’t do it

At this point the production team says it’s not funny so they ask the boys to do it again, and Jonghyun asks “Should we do it more interestingly/funnily? Should we go again” and is about to drink the vinegar coffee again ㅠㅠㅠㅠ You can see that he is putting in all his effort to save the broadcast

Dongho who left (to control his laughter) starts being angry and looking for the member Jonghyun’s eyes shake…. To make matters worse, even Aron leaves too…

Because Aron and Dongho left their seats, wartortle is being anxious and worried ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ He keeps apologizing and apologizing to the production staff

And then Dongho comes back and Jonghyun tries to fix it by pretending nothing happened

And then they revealed it was a hidden cameraㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ As I was watching while knowing the whole thing, Dongho’s acting was seriously bad but I wondered if Jonghyun really believed it After ending the hidden camera Jonghyun seemed to have a mental breakdown and his eyes became wet too ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅠㅠ

And afterwards, there was a time to talk about the hidden camera again Hwang Minhyun said that day after the broadcast Jonghyun’s expression was bad. When he said that it seemed like (Jonghyun) was crying, Jonghyun denied it strongly by saying he didn’t cry

When they asked why was his expression so bad then (in the midst of this Kang Dongho is smiling because he think he acted well)

Jonghyun said he was scared/dizzy that this might be their last broadcast. Here you can see how big Kim Jonghyun’s sense of responsibility is. How precious must that one broadcast have been…

If you watch their old broadcasts you may think he has quite a serious personality, but that’s just how cautious/serious his personality is. It seems like in reality, even if the members cause accidents like that, he’ll accept and embrace all of them ㅠ-ㅠ Of course, Dongho doesn’t have that kind of personality, but how nervous his heart must have been. That’s why I think I know why in the 4 ’95ers and 1 93ers NU’EST, 95er Kim Jonghyun became the leader.

For me, Kim Jonghyun’s most killing point was when Hyunbin was being scolded but he accepted/embraced all of it himself and looked really reliable. And because you can see from this video that it’s not just a broadcast image, but he’s had this kind of personality since the beginningㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ It makes my heart hurt too. If that time was 5 years ago he would’ve been 18.

Apart from this, if you look at NU’EST’s old broadcasts, he’s always telling the production team thank you for treating them well. How precious must each and every broadcast have been. How much effort he must have put in to come out on this. When I see things like this I can tell why he’s working so hard on Produce. Even in P101 BTS he’s always talking about humility, “we always have to be humble”.

Although some people would say why kids that have already debuted have to appear (on Produce), or that it’s illogical, but honestly before they came on, how many people even knew NU’EST’s songs? ㅜ-ㅜ They must’ve came on the show because they were just as desperate as the other trainees right?

When they first appeared, even I was thinking what the, are they being proud just because they’ve already debuted? but in every episode they seem to work harder and are more desperate. Now their contracts are coming to an end soon, and it seems like a situation just like Kim Jonghyun said, where there’s no other way other than Produce 101, is approaching……… and it’s the truth that their ages are also a bit old for idols. ㅜ-ㅜ

So it would be great if people didn’t look upon them too badly ㅠ-ㅠ
