Sorry for disappearing. It was my birthday last weekend and my internship was kicking my ass.

Here’s some doodles for your troubles. It’s mostly Lloyd ofc lol. I’m experimenting actually drawing everyone as LEGO figures or something similar to monkey kid.

I like to imagine that before Lord Garmadon left to pursue his evil dreams their family was quite pleasant.

I also headcannon that Lloyd had a stuffed animal dragon as a kid. It got taken away when he went to Darkley’s so he doesn’t know where it is anymore.

I’ve been binge watching Ninjago while working on my final project and it’s taken over my brain lol

Noticed that Chopper is canonically a teenager and I always thought that was weird that they drew him as a teenager so I wanted to experiment with what he’d look like as a teen.

I took inspiration from his horn point form. It’s honestly my favorite out of all of them personally.

In this I think just his brain point form would be different. Everything else would be the same.

Spoilers for Whole Cake Arc!!!! (kinda)

Still sick as hell so I’ll just leave this here

Here is the last one so far, Sanji. He’s the acrobat and chef of the circus!

His training started when he was a kid by his father, Judge. He was kinda forced into training as a gymnast, which of course, he didn’t really make the cut amongst his far more talented siblings. So a long winded backstory later Sanji is in the custody of Zeff until he’s practically forced into joining the Strawhat Circus. First by handling the food courts.

Later he started training again and began to participate in the acts. He now mostly manages the food courts and help them prep, but when the grounds are open he leaves the cooking to the staff while he’s otherwise occupied.

Although he does love to make breakfast and dinner for the crew and staff when the grounds aren’t open

When he’s not doing shows he’ll wander the grounds like everyone else and do fun tricks to entertain the guests. (And flirt with the ladies of course) The kids especially love it when he does cool backflips and handstands.

Anyways that’s all that I can think for him. :D

I dont have any other drawings in terms of their character designs. Later I might make more once im more settled on their acts and stuff.

Sorry for the wait. I got sick out of nowhere. So here’s Usopp!

So here I have him as the ringleader. Not so much because he’s in charge or anything but because the role of a ringleader is to announce the various performances during the main show. They do crowd control and direct the audiences attention to the various acts going on in the show. He also serves to weave stories about the performers to introduce the new performers. He tends to over exaggerate those parts. Talking about acts coming straight from the the mountains of some made up country. Or how they had performed for a royal family that doesn’t exist.

He sometimes subs in on performances if something happens and does sharpshooter performances. Rarely impalation because it makes him nervous as hell, but he CAN do it.

When he’s not doing main shows or any side shows that happen throughout the day, he’s either helping Franky and doing more stagehand work, or he’s in his booth telling extravagant stories using puppets for the kids!

Merry is one of the animals. She doesn’t really performs as much, she prefers to follow Usopp around and he doesn’t really mind to stop her.

Now we have Nami!!!

Nami in the circus is a baton twirler. She’s got an assortment of different batons and they’re usually decked out with special effects. To make things more interesting for her acts.

When she’s not performing she handles finances for the circus, as well as marketing and organizing their events. I added Zeus in as her assistant cuz I just love him so much and she’s likely need the help.

The circus doesn’t have a tip system but she somehow always gets tips and she doesn’t stop people who gives them to her.

Zoro’s next!!

He’s the juggler of the group! More specifically he likes to do more daring juggling acts by using sharp objects and swords! (Although he prefers to use the sharp objects in the big tent where it’s a much more controlled environment. As opposed to when he’s walking the grounds and risk an accident with excited children running around in crowds)

When doing the main show it’s kind of unofficially written in that he and Sanji comically fight and mess with each other. No one’s really sure if it’s intentional or not, but they kinda boarderline satirical about it, but it makes the kids laugh so no one bothers to try to stop them. As long as they’re safe about it.

They did used to have an independent side show thing that’s just them trying to do acts while being an assistant to the other but they just end up messing it up for the other. (They got carried away to many times, so now their spats have to be supervised during main shows)

Finally posting these from my TikTok! Never shared it on Tumblr lol

This was a circus AU idea that popped up sometime over the summer (2024). It’s just a fun little thing that (eventually) developed some lore.

In this I couldn’t decide what to make Luffy. He was one of the hardest to pick. Oda likely would have chosen a clown to stay on brand. Realistically he would have been a contortionist (as a way to translate his devil fruit into an IRL context) and I personally think he gives off aerialist vibes. You cannot tell me he wouldn’t love to be in the air in the closest sense possible lmao

So why pick if I can draw him as all of that stuff! Throw it all into the blender just for the heck of it!

So in this Luffy has his main act (trapeze) and side acts as a clown. He uses contortionism in both to make his acts more intriguing or fun!

When he walks the grounds to interact with guests, especially kids, he usually goes around as a clown to best garner attention and to have fun with the kiddos.

I would have done my circus AU but i technically already drew Cora for that. Sooooo yeah.

(Sorry i missed yesterday. Lmao didn’t have time to make a drawing for it lol. My jobs defo keep me busy)

I’m gonna go hibernate for the weekend now. Work is gonna suuuuuuuuuck.

(Btw did you guys know that Rocinante was the name of the horse in the novel, Don Quixote? Literally the main character’s horse. I just found this out and it blows my mind with the representation. Am i just that late to realizing this? 😭)
