So! It's the time for some personal art!

Me and a bunch of Rise fans got together and just had fun with our Turtle Kinsonas. And it's been a year since we started that little journey of ours.

Each and every one of them is so different, so charming in their own way, just like the people who made them. Through the year, these are people I have cherished and smiled daily because of them. Every time we'd draw something for these little guys, or write stories, angst or fluff- it didn't matter. Talking hours on end, waking up to 1000+ messages just with ideas- It was an absolute highlight of the year and a feeling I will take with me for the rest of my life I think. Even if our hype has died down a little, we are still here for each other, and draw these folks to show affection. Through a hard time in my life, they were a guiding star on my journey in just- in life. At a point where I was scared I'd lost a lot of things that matter to me- They showed up, and gave me hope that no matter what, I'll find people. People who will be there for me, who I can love, who I can laugh with and smile at the simple truth that they are out there living, breathing, and that I know them. Thank you all for being here with me. No matter what, I will always remember this, and I hope that lets you rest easy.

Words can't do justice to the admiration and love I hold, but I hope images can.

So i recently found out that people could make colored pictures back in the days where you only had black and white photography at your disposal, using a process called

Trichromatic Photography

You basically put red, green, and blue filters in front of the camera lens, snap 3 different b/w pics with each filter, and if you were using a projector you could project the red-coded b/w image through another red filter, same for green, same for blue, allign the projections, and boom. Color.

Which sounds a lot like the Screen / Addition effect on digital programs

So i tried it myself, and instead of using a b/w camera with a color filter over it and then tinting the image with that color (as you could do with Multiply? Probably), i just used LEDs

and i know this isn’t uncharted territory, but boi

The pics do suck and they are very poorly aligned, but this makes for such a cool chromatic aberration

I think I’ll keep using it for pics, honestly it’s just fun stuff to make

Grocery shopping gone wrong

Why would they go grocery shopping in the middle of the day, in Manhattan, the most anti-mutant district of New York (mostly influenced by mafia boss Don Vizioso) ? Who knows ! Not Raph, who was having an off day, and is VERY surprised to see his family return with 1 (one) grocery bag and many (a lot) of bruises.
