Interviewer: Heya Lance, I know it's been difficult to read where anyone is standing, are you reasonably positive with how things went today?

Lance: uh yeah, I think it's been, um ya know, a decent day um considering where we've been all weekend it was one of our more competitive sessions, so um see what we can do tomorrow.

Interviewer: I know we don't what's going to happen with the weather tomorrow, but in terms of the car and the way it was come to you over the course of the weekend, does that give you a bit of hope that you can maybe go [unintelligible, possibly - back to the points]

Lance: Yeah I think with the rain and stuff, ya know um it could mix things up um opportunity for some points and stuff with those conditions, so um never know what can happen in those kind of conditions

Australian GP Friday practice 14/03/2025

Interviewer: Well Lance, our first Friday in the books at a track with happy memories for you, you spent the whole day running in the top ten, did it feel as good as a top ten car out there?

Lance: uhhh, yeah I mean it's just practice so uhh, i haven't looked at like the long run paces and stuff but um yeah some stuff to work on and see tomorrow.

Interviewer: was the balance in the car pretty much what you expected out of the box and did you have a good feeling with it straight away and what are your hopes for tomorrow?

Lance: yeah some corners better than other corners so uh just have to work on like that yeah

Australian GP Media Day 13/03/2025

Interviewer 1: Hi Lance, good to see you, I know you weren't very well at the test, so firstly how are you getting on and how are you feeling and what happened?

Lance: yeah, I just got a bug so yeah fever and all that uh fun stuff um but yeah feeling good now.

Interviewer 1: And how are you feeling about the weekend, especially obviously a bit of a disjointed test because of that and it just looked difficult to read anyway?

Lance: um yeah I mean we still got some laps in even when I wasn't feeling well which is good, and yeah excited for Melbourne um good memories here, good results the last couple of years and a place I always enjoy coming back to so looking forward to it.

Interviewer 2: What is the feeling within the team uh going into this season?

Lance: yeah I mean uh ya know we gotta keep pushing it's a long year, it's not all about the first race it's about developing the car throughout the year and getting stronger as the year goes on so um so that's really what we're focused on as a team

Interviewer 2: A nice thing on social media from the team on how they welcomed Adrian Newey on his first day at the office, umm of course he's only there for what is it more than a week now, but how is the first impressions been him at the factory, what does it do to the other members of the team, what can you tell us.

Lance: Yeah it's just really exciting, for everyone, for uhh for the whole team I think it's um ya know uh motivating for everyone, encouraging for everyone um ya know and uh there's um a nice spark of energy in the uhh in the factory ya know and that's um great to hear, to see, and just exciting for the whole group.

Interviewer 3: All twenty drivers are driving for the championship um who is going to win it this season?

Lance: um, we'll see who has fastest car and then I'll tell you

Interviewer 3: hahaha no guesses?

Lance: I'll guess we'll see who wins the first race and the second one, the third and then we'll get a pretty good idea
