I like Starker with a 30-year age gap. But I usually imagine Tony looking a good 5 years younger than he actually does in canon. I like the age gap, but I don’t want him to look too old while Peter’s still so young. I want Peter to have a long time with Tony before he starts looking like someone’s fit, GILFy grandpa. I justify this by telling myself RDJ is 5 years older than Tony, so really, imagining Tony looking five years younger than he does is…kind of valid? Still feels pretty shallow tho.

I think my stance on dark, problematique content in fanworks should be fairly obvious to anyone who follows me or reads my fic. But just in case, here is my Official Stance for the record.

If you create or consume fanworks featuring dark subjects such as - but not restricted to - rape, sexual violence, and abuse, we’re friends. I don’t need to know why you engage with that content. I don’t need to see your survivor credentials. It’s none of my business if you use fanworks to process your own trauma, or to play out sexual fantasies, or for whatever other reason. As long as you tag your content appropriately so that people can make an informed decision about whether they want to engage with it, we’re good.

If you do not create or consume fanworks featuring dark subjects, but respect other people’s right to do so, we’re friends. I don’t need to know why you don’t engage with that content. Your preferences and why you have them are none of my business. We’re good.

If you shame, name call, or otherwise attack people who enjoy fanworks featuring dark subjects, we are not friends. I don’t care why you think it’s bad. I don’t care if you believe you’re morally correct and that people who enjoy that content are retraumatizing themselves or encouraging real world abuse. You’re wrong, but that’s not the point. The point is that nobody in the history of humanity has ever changed someone’s point of view through attacking them. All you are doing is making yourself feel righteous by hurting and scaring people.

Corollary to the above: if you dismiss or deride people who don’t enjoy dark fanworks, claim they are immature, or lump them in with antis, we are not friends. Grow the fuck up.

If you are an anti, we are not friends.

I’m not going to demand that you block me, because it’s my job to curate my own fandom experience. Feel free to block me if you want to, or don’t, or keep following me so you can read my cute fluff fic while thinking me and my friends are disgusting, you fucking hypocrite. It’s no skin off my nose.

Fiction is not reality. Stop attacking real people to defend fictional characters, and stop pretending you’re anything other than puritans in woke clothing.

a writer who writes the most fucked up “dead dove: do not eat” problematic pairing and fully tags and warns for the content they create will always be worthy of more respect in my eyes than people who call others weirdos because of who they ship. This is because a writer who writes disturbing things but gives me plenty of warning about them has demonstrated, regardless of what happens in the fic, that they value the consent of real people, and that they value my consent to see such content and will always offer me the option to avoid or withdraw. On the other hand, a purity cultist who demands I explain my trauma and exactly why I might be drawn to dark content, regardless of whether they’re the purest fluff writer to ever write, has demonstrated a lack of respect for my boundaries and the attitude that they are entitled to whatever they want to take from me. 

There are a lot of things that bother me about purity culture, but I think the most disturbing is that it clouds the very definition of consent, and then teaches this confusing version (you must consent to deep dives into your trauma and how it affects you for the benefit of strangers who have already decided you’re a bad person, and not consenting to that automatically makes you an abuser, also no one can consent to reading or thinking about disturbing content ever because thinking about it means you want it irl) to young, vulnerable, and often traumatized individuals, thus making it harder to understand their trauma and easier for them to ignore the real warning signs of abuse (like demanding that you agree with the abuser otherwise you’re literally the worst and most harmful person ever) because it teaches that abusers only come in one type, and that all abusers are “nasty shippers”.

This is especially dangerous because real life abusers teach their victims that the abuse is happening because the victim is a bad, evil person. One of the diagnostic criteria for PTSD is literally “Places undue blame on themself or others for what happened”. Teaching traumatized people that consent is a luxury only “good” people are allowed to have is incompatible with support for abuse survivors. tl;dr a writer who tags “dead dove: do not eat” has demonstrated respect for the necessity of consent. A purity cultist who sends anon hate has demonstrated a lack of respect for consent.

Hi. LeCoeur here. Remember when I said I was a writer of evil? Yeah. Here it is.

I’ve posted 18 chapters of what’s probably going to be 50-60 chapters. It’s a long one folks. Because not only is it the fun ‘let’s torture and break Tony’, it’s also the ‘let’s put Tony back together again after’.

The story starts with a little bit of preliminary mind-fuckery & r*pe of Tony at the hands of Steve and Bucky. Goes through two solid weeks of the same and far, far worse. Those two weeks are agreed to be endured by Tony to protect Peter Parker from the same, once Steve finds out that sweet little high school virgin Peter is gay. Ends up with putting the pieces of Tony back together again and having a nice cold dish of revenge.

Reading/writing fictional stuff like this can be hot. It's a kink to read and write it. And reading/writing fucked up shit in no way condones fucked up shit in real life. It's cathartic, its erotic, it can be sexy as fuck, and it can be wank fodder. It's fiction. That means nothing about the person reading/writing it. It's fictional. No one is hurt. Get over it.

Bucky gets Hurt or Ill and Has a Grand Mal Seizure? MANY Thanks

trigger warnings: seizures and medical horror–I did a fair amount of research on this, but this isn’t an accurate portrayal or terribly sensitive to those who have seizures.

After the chair, Bucky’s body is sapped of strength. For hours afterwards, he sits on his cot, weak and exhausted from the bouts of electricity ran through his brain. 

He’s considering what it’d be like to snap the neck of a Soviet–the crackle and release of vertebrae–when the air pressure in his ears abruptly changes. It’s as if sound itself has been wiped out. 

The room wavers and then sets into a rapid spin. His muscles feel tightly bound around him, as if he’s wrapped in tight elastic. For a moment, Bucky is suspended in whirling panic. 

And then it’s just black.

There are two stages of a generalized tonic-clonic seizure: the tonic phase (wherein muscles contract and consciousness is lost) and the clonic phase (rhythmic muscle contractions while the subject remains unconscious).

The Soviet technicians watch for symptoms of the first, tonic, phase when the asset emerges from the chair. They don’t detect any. He is responsive, seems normal, so they send him to the cell. When the asset crashes to the floor unconscious, they delay a few minutes to see if he’ll progress. They don’t raid the cell until he is wracked with spasms.

When Bucky comes to, he is disoriented. A headache daggers behind his left eye. Copper stings in his mouth, his tongue cleaved open. He’s exhausted, sagging down against the restraints.

The restraints. He’s back in the chair.

Slowly, memory pieces together. He remembers the chair. There are still singe marks on his temples. Bucky was just in this chair. After the chair, he blacked out. They’re going to make him black out again.

And again. And again. And again until when he comes back, he won’t come back as himself. He won’t come back at all.

All there is left to do is fight. And so Bucky fights. He thrashes against the straps to little avail; he’s exhausted from his seizure. When the techs lower the metal circle over his temples, there’s nothing he can do. Nothing he can do but submit.

The techs force him through three rounds in the chair that day, and the ensuing triple grand mal seizures leave him listless and confused. He forgets his name.
