This is so silly cause having a beta reader is literally the dream like i edit my fics ten million times and there’s still always so many errors to in them it’s always helpful to have a second opinion

How come you're editing someone's work????? It's their work? Do you get permission? Why would a fanfic by someone else need an edit?

Yes, I did get her permission because she asked me to do it. Me and the person I'm editing for have been really close friends for years. She asked me to basically proof read it for any spelling mistakes and give her suggestions on how to improve sentence format if I think it could be better. I've been helping her with Grammer and essays since highschool. The way we were taught is to always have another person look over your piece of writing because you may have missed a mistake you made. Obviously I'll probably miss some as well, but it's better than leaving all of the mistakes in.

You are right ! I don’t have one! I had one when i first started but getting paid to write fanfiction… idk it made me feel so icky even though no one had done it so i took it down. I totally support supporting authors but like for me personally? Like fanfiction is fun, and i don’t personally think i should be payed for it i would feel bad

I saw one creator who like slapped the patreon at the end of a fic that was pretty satisfy ended and they were like ey yo if you want more content, and all i could think was wow this is classy. This blog is next level. So cool and smart
