How come you prefer to be called Fitz? Leo is a bold, proud, strong name. The name of lions, the name of kings.

I don’t prefer one or the other, really. I actually don’t mind my name so much. But when people call me Fitz, well– it just makes me feel like my job counts for something. If that makes sense… We all call each other “Fitz” and “Simmons” and “May” etc, when on the clock, as a sign of respect for what each of us does in the fight.

I think that’s fantastic.

Are you at all worried that Simmons might come out of this with ptsd or survivors guilt?

Of course I’m worried. But all I can do is be there for her. And she’s a fighter. She’ll get through this.

Oh now that’s a hard one. Of course the meals back home are never topped. And the US certainly has some taste in food.

Shepherd’s Pie, though. Is that a heaven-sent dish or what.
