You can tell who is new to Tumblr (especially refugees from other social media), because they're very concerned about the age of posts, worried about "spam liking/reblogging," use words like "unalive" unironically, and censor trigger words with asterisks. Some will also put irrelevant tags on their posts "for reach."

Dude, you are your own algorithm on this site. Stuff from 2012 occasionally gets a burst of 100K more notes. "Spam liking/reblogging" old posts will get you kissed on the mouth. With tongue. The only thing censoring letters in trigger words and using euphemisms will accomplish is to make blocking those terms useless for those trying to avoid that subject matter. Putting every irrelevant popular tag you can think of on your post "for reach" is just going to get you blocked for spam tagging.

Just relax. Follow people, reblog stuff that interests you, and make your own posts. You will find your people, and they will find you.

The sound of footsteps echoed outside but it was when the telltale sign of the doors opening and closing as feet entered the villa. You and mother made your way towards the entrances, only to see Bianca being returned by the guards. 

Your mother moved to go towards her but Lorenzo’s voice stopped her, “I will speak to her.”

A part of you was jealous of your younger sister. Youngest of your parents children, she was doted upon by everyone and your father had spoiled her beyond measure. 

Bianca said she loved Guglielmo and had been seeing the boy “secretly” for years. Both you and Giuliano knew all about the affair. It seemed, however, that your father and brother were too busy to notice and your mother well you did not  know what she actually knew. 

It was when you heard Bianca screaming at Lorenzo that you decided that you would not sit here and listen to her.  

Making your way to your brothers rooms, you knock on the door before entering. 

“She is home and I guarantee you that it cannot be more than ten minutes before Lorenzo leaves and is on his way to to Jacopo Pazzi to convince the man to somehow turn this in her favor!” you sigh as you throw yourself down on the bed. 

“Would you prefer he allow them to become pariahs?” Giuliano asks and you can hear the chuckle in his voice.

maybe I'm reading into this too hard but... we clown on kaz for the sheer irony of “the trick is not to love anything, rollins", and considering this is not long after the bathroom scene, yeah lol, HOT bit of irony there. but... kaz said the trick.

yes, the overt meaning is the strategy, the way to do it, but... kaz said the trick, and this is kaz 'nothing up my sleeves' brekker, the sleight of hand magician. I think he meant that it only has to look that way. you'll see what kaz damn well wants you to see; he knows how to constantly turn up the face of the dirtyhands card while never letting you get so much as a look at kaz rietveld, even if he's somewhere in the deck. it's all about illusions, street magic, trickery! rollins' mistake was not loving his son, it was making it too visible, accidentally showing his hand. you only have to think the coin has disappeared; you can't see the coin, or the card, or the woman in the box, but they haven't really vanished. they're still there, somewhere, slipped away to maintain the illusion. kaz's love isn't visible, anymore... but that doesn't mean it's nonexistent.

(incidentally, what is kaz's greatest trick, if not finding the girl who seems to have vanished?)
