News: SnK x Sukiya “Titan” Beef Bowl “Collaboration”

The Sukiya restaurant chain, known for their “gyudon”/beef rice bowls, have announced a summer collaboration with SnK!

The announcement claims that from August 21st, 2019, any patron who can eat a gyudon that’s 12 times the size of their regular bowls will be eligible for one of two prizes: an Armored Titan poster that’s 42 meters x 60 meters in size (Yes, meters) or an actual bowl with a female titan design that’s 1.2 meters tall and 2 meters in diameter (Eren’s height for comparison).

However, this is a gag similar to SnK’s “fake previews,” as the announcement tweet reveals that it’s all a joke with the “#嘘予告” hashtag. The real details of the collaboration are still to come.

Update (August 19th, 2019): One day before the collaboration, the real details have been unveiled! Along with a teaser video, a new visual featuring Eren, Levi, Mikasa, Armin, Erwin, Hanji, and Colossal Titan has been revealed.

The collaboration is separated into three time periods, and visitors to Sukiya locations will receive different gifts per period:

9am on August 21st to 8:59am on September 4th : 1st set of five design cards and chibi Eren can badge

9am on September 4th to 8:59am on September 18th: 2nd set of five design cards and chibi Erwin can badge

9am on September 18th to 11:59pm on September 30th: 3rd set of five design cards and chibi Levi can badge

Customers who purchase specific menu items can earn points and exchange them for limited edition items or be entered into drawings for prizes:

15 points: Exchange for illustrated bowl

1 point: Chance to win Sukiya Pass/gift card (500 winners)

2 points: Chance to win A3-size poster of collaboration visual (150 winners)

3 points: Chance to win crystal art of Eren and Levi as salarymen (100 winners)

Standing panels of the individual character artworks will also be displayed at the various Sukiya locations.

Kyōjurō x F!S/O: Mini Kyō (Fluff, Movie Actor!AU, Modern!AU, SFW Scenario)

“Oh, oh! That one, Kyō!” (Y/n) chirped excitedly, even going to a point where she began to tug on her husband’s jacket sleeve— almost knocking the sunglasses off of his face. “It’s you!”

“Shh, baby,” The blond whispered with a grin, knowing full well that his ‘disguise’ was barely hanging on by a thread; he didn’t her blowing whatever cover he had— if tucking most of his hair under a cap, and wearing sunglasses inside an arcade was even considered cover.

(Y/n) rolled her eyes at that, totally teasing him about his reignited fame with the release of the movie he just did. She totally didn’t like the ending of that one, but she was extremely proud of him for playing such a pivotal character so greatly.

Too great that he had amassed even more fans; enough for him to have started donning disguises when they went out on dates.

“You really want this one?” Kyōjurō whispered— half teasing— while he quirked an eyebrow right at his wife. “When you have the real thing?”

(Y/n) gently nudged him towards the claw machine then, even drumming her fingers gently against his shoulders. “Do you have a big head on a tiny body? I didn’t think so. I want it.”

Kyōjurō couldn’t help but huff slightly at that quip, believing that he could give his wife even warmer cuddles— and much more comfort— than the giant plushie of that character he played.

Still, he couldn’t say no to her, because he always loved it when he could make her smile; even if it was by doing the smallest things.

So, there he was… feeling like he was throwing all of their savings away just to get the stuffed toy that literally looked like him.

Hell, his wife had even taken to buying some candy from the convenience store and hiding it in her pocket; all so she could snack while she watched him struggle.

“Oooh, that one was close, Kyō!” She whisper-yelled, even thumping his arm once, which had him grinning and shaking his head. She was far too excited over a simple thing, and he couldn’t deny that she looked extremely adorable.

And when she turned to look right at him, it was as if the entire world had stopped while she kept moving. His heart even felt so heavy in his chest— with how hard it was thumping, from that one moment alone.

It really felt like she was out of his league, with how pretty she was, and how she made everything so… amazing, like every second with her was breathtaking and worth treasuring.

“Here’s some candy for luck!” Before he could even see it coming, she had already pushed a piece of candy in his mouth.

However, he had managed to catch her wrist just before she pulled her hand away; and that gave him the opportunity to press a kiss to her fingertips. “I don’t need luck; I have you.”

All throughout the drive back home, (Y/n) refused to let go of her extra-large plushie. She even set it down on her lap and told her husband to just look around the thing’s big head; which honestly made Kyōjurō jealous.

Because there was that plushie sitting in his wife’s lap, with its head resting against her chest— while he was stuck driving without even getting a hand hold throughout the trip.

He wanted to rip it free from her arms and throw it in the back seat, but he couldn’t deny that he loved (Y/n)’s reaction when he finally managed to hook the plush with the crane.

Her hug was extremely tight, and he even received a very copious amount of kisses to his cheeks. That had made all the effort worth it, especially when she pulled back and practically squealed that she loved him— all while doing her happy dance, which was basically just going on her toes and bouncing around.

Kyōjurō loved his wife— he really did— but he had half the mind to take his character plushie from her by the hair and throw it in the bin.

But he wasn’t that mean, so he was stuck with narrowing his eyes and pursing his lips in a pout; as if that could cut through the euphoric bubble that (Y/n) existed in.

And when he thought that he was going to get his cuddles that evening, he was proven wrong when his wife came in their bedroom with her arms still around the damned toy that he blew a good portion of their monthly budget for.

“Aren’t you going to leave that thing outside, baby?” Kyōjurō asked softly, even throwing in an unsure smile, since he didn’t want to upset his wife.

(Y/n), however, shook her head vehemently and got on the bed— kneeling at the foot of it and dragging her knees over the sheets, while maintain her balance. Then, she plopped down on the bed and laid the pillow-sized toy between herself and her husband.

“What’s this thing doing here?”

“He’s not just a thing! He’s Mini Kyō!” The young woman chimed happily, totally oblivious to how her husband’s forced smile fell.

Then, in the blink of an eye, Kyōjurō grabbed the plush by the leg and threw it off the bed— before rolling on top of his wife and keeping her from getting up to get it. “I need my wifey hugs!”

It was safe to say that he didn’t get his wifey hugs, and was stuck with glaring at the stuffed toy that was practically mocking him in his wife’s arms.
