Anyway last post aside I’m thinking about headcanon Zero Roads.

She’s on the shorter side, a midsize body type, brown eyes that turn gold in the sun, a soft jawline but sharp brows and eyeliner. She’s wanted an eyebrow piercing for years but has yet to follow through. She’s never been especially feminine aside from occasional makeup looks and that one school dance she went to with Jay. Jay crowd surfed. Some kid on the football team accidentally broke the water fountain right when she started and if he hadn’t, Jay would’ve been caught. It’s one of Zero’s funniest memories.

She prefers to wear casual clothes, usually ones with loose fits and baggy silhouettes— stuff like big jackets and t-shirts. She’s got curly hair cut into something like a 90s mullet but fuller. She’s more reserved after the accident and her body language suggests as much since she’s always on edge. She fidgets a lot, usually with her hair when she’s the most anxious. She’s pulled out more accidentally than she’d like to admit.

Somehow Jay can still get her to sing at the top of her lungs in the car though. She loves the park swings, still blows on white dandelions for wishes (they’re a little more desperate nowadays). Her eyes have gotten darker from the lack of sleep and crying that comes now and then but she tries to play it off as a grunge makeup style. At work, she once put a horror movie on the TV to unsettle customers and started to make a habit of it. Nowadays she can’t tell if the horror disturbs or comforts her having dealt with the accident and her dreams. She tends to listen to softer music or at least songs with vivid lyricism. She never considered herself good at writing but she’ll write poems on work sticky notes. She’ll never admit it or share them with anyone though.

She looks at Jay and her eyes soften every time. It’s scary. Jay is the only person she can trust and with all of the love and support she received, everything feels more fragile. She can’t lose them. She loves them and how they make things okay somehow. Jay’s also good at making light of her dreams without mocking her. Mary would be jealous to know how much more detail Jay gets to learn but fuck Mary. She’s nice but annoying with all of the formalities. Zero prefers to have her dog around as therapy. Zero’s worried about graduating and who she’s going to become. She wants to fast forward to a time where no one who remembers the accident is within ten miles of her. She wants to be able to sleep without anticipating another nightmare.

TBH my goal within the next year is to mainly focus on Generation Loss and have Ranboo as a fun lil outlet when im not working on genloss. Having the story figured out has been the most inspiring thing with it so far :D I really hope yall give it a chance

When it comes to my art, The Sphynx Cat has always been my muse 🥹 My babies are my biggest source of motivation and inspiration 🫶 Finally got some time to practice making lil heads for art dolls that I’m hoping to make and sell on The Bug Cache :)) it’s been a long and slow process trying to get things to align, but it’s a step closer to my dream!! There’s a lot of times where I’m kinda like, man, I wish I could start everything anew but with where I’m at mentally now if that makes sense.

Obviously I’m very grateful for the last 4 years and I’m really happy with where I am at now, but I do sometimes get a tad discouraged when I realize there’s a lot of premade assumptions and expectations about me and my content based on what I did when I was 17 LMAO

But at the same time I wouldn’t change anything honestly, and I am gonna keep trying to make content that yall enjoy that I enjoy making! As I couldn’t have learned as much as I did without the past 4 years 💜

Only reason I’m making this post is really to just remind yall that in order to get to where you wanna be you gotta just keep giving things the opportunity to happen! As I know that I had a big period of inaction for a bit :)
