Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Each year, Christ for the Nations allows students the opportunity to receive a summer credit by participating in a short-term outreach to a country in another part of the world. In the summer of 2016, We have the opportunity to be part of a team going to Aruba. Doors have opened for our team to go into the Aruban Prison. We will have access to the youth, men, women, and mentally ill. We will also be ministering in a local orphanage. We want to reach the forsaken and downcast of the island. A youth rally is also being planned as we seek to minister to the future of the island. We will have a two week ministry packed time!While the actual dates of the outreach will be from May 10th – May 24th, our preparations start months before. We are learning evangelistic dramas and making visuals we can use to teach children. We are also learning how to prepare sermon outlines and how to effectively give our personal testimony. We know, without a doubt, the most important aspect of our preparation will be prayer. As a member of this summer outreach team, we are responsible for raising our own funds to cover food, lodging, transportation, and ministry supplies. The amount will be approximately US$2200 per person. My Wife and I, believing God to lead a number of people to support us in this worthwhile endeavor.
