Lil’ Hint: Dating for two years, Jungkook has left you for what?

The sound of people chattering and coffee spurting out the machines, you stand at the cash register waiting for another customer to place their order. As the door opened, a tall man walks toward you with a black cap. “Hello, I am Y/N! What would you like-” Your heart dropped to your stomach as the man looked into your eyes. “Y/N..” He stated, knowing what your reaction will be.
You placed the steaming coffee in front of your ex-boyfriend Jungkook and he gave a thanks. The awkward silence formed over the two but all these questions filled your depressing mind. Your anger started to rise from what happened five months ago. “Since you are not going to talk, I will get back to work.” Standing up and going back to your position, Jungkook held your wrist. “I’m sorry.” He whispered, voice cracking. “Sorry for what? Leaving me for a career? You’re successful now due to your decision, right?” You smiled at him and tried to make it seem as if it was okay.
“I left you, Y/N. Not only to pursue my idol dream but for something else.”
“Go on.”
“There was a girl behind the scenes of all this.”
Flashing back five months ago, the night where everything fell apart. “Why is he not picking up his calls?” You stood outside Jungkook’s apartment under 40 degrees, calling him over and over again with an exciting surprise for his birthday. Running up the stairs into the building, you knock on his door repeatedly. The door opened revealing a girl with nice black hair and her eyes squinted, meaning that she just had woken up. “What is it at this hour?” She mumbled with a raspy voice. “Who is at the door?” Taehyung walked up behind her, his eyes widened seeing the sight of you. “You act like you seen a ghost, where is Jungkook?” You asked, confused about the girl. Taehyung welcomed you in and you see Jungkook on the couch staring at his phone. “Hey, I was calling you! Why didn’t you pick up?” You give him a kiss on the cheek, but he was blankly staring at his phone still. The girl disappeared and Taehyung walked in, grabbing Jungkook’s phone.”Y/N-ah, I have to tell you something.” Jungkook said after breaking out of his daze.
“A girl, you say?”
“Yes, she opened the door for you that night. I lied to you, Y/N. I was cheating on you with her, but then we broke up because crazy stuff happened. I left you for her. I’m sorry.”
“Idol? YOU?” You laugh sarcastically at him. Jungkook and Taehyung lowered their heads, knowing everything will turn out bad. “We have to split up.” Jungkook spoke after the long silence. “Why do we have to? I could just wait for you.” You stated not wanting to let go of your boyfriend of 2 years. “I’m going to be extremely busy and I don’t have feelings for you anymore.” He stated aloud. “Are you serious? You were the one who said that you loved me last night and now you are saying that you have no feelings for me anymore?” Your anger boiled and you felt betrayed so throwing the plane tickets on the table, you left the apartment.
“Fuck you, I’m seriously done.” You took off your apron and slammed it on the table and left the shop. Texting your co-worker that you will be leaving for the day, you visit Taehyung. Knocking on his door, he opened it immediately. “Y/N!” He smiled brightly and leaned for a hug. You brushed past him and he asked what was wrong. “Did you know?” You stated getting to the point. “Know about..??” Taehyung said, confused as hell. “Jungkook and that girl, five months ago.” Taehyung bit his lip and sat down next to you, “Y/N..” He gave you a pout. “This is not the time to joke around! DID YOU KNOW?” You yell loudly. “YES I DID KNOW, OKAY! I SAVED MY BEST FRIEND’S ASS FIVE MONTHS AGO, HURTING MY OTHER BEST FRIEND IN THE ACT. I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE, Y/N! JUNGKOOK BEGGED ME AND I KNOWN HIM FOR YEARS!” Taehyung yelled back, spitting out all that he held in for five months which earned him a slap in the face from you. “Then what am I? I’ve known you longer than he has, ever since when we were in diapers, Kim Taehyung...” Tears ran down your cheek as you turn to leave. Jungkook stood at the door with a suitcase next to him, “Uh..Y/N.” You brushed past him, hitting his shoulder and left.
