please tell me what you think of the casting, I actually like who they casted for Zelda, I'm still on the fence with the casting of Link though, but still optimistic.

Ok I just had to say something, I hate it when I see comments on Clerith videos/posts or whatever and people say "doesnt Aerith love Zack", which I kinda get if you have only played Crisis Core, but I think she loves them both, cuz literally this scene:

Aerith says to Cloud, "You reminded me of him at first, but you're not him, and thats ok. Because right now, I want to be with you."

If you didnt see or play the skywheel date with Aerith and had someone else I'll give you a little pass but still like this proves that she could love both, which is totally normal

Why I like Clerith better than Cloti (pls don't come after me Cloti shippers)

Ok, so, basically Imma talk about why I love clerith so much

and also, if ur a Cloti shipper reading this, yes, I get why Cloti's a good ship and I'm not angry at the ship/shippers at all, I just like Clerith more.

So basically I like Clerith because Cloud can be open with Aerith and also have fun, which is super special I think. Also, Cloud really cares about Aerith, and Aerith cares about Cloud.

Aerith is the person he cares about most cuz literally in the chapters where they're trying to save Aerith from Shinra thats the ONE OBJECTIVE he has the WHOLE time, and keeps reminding Barret that's the one objective, which makes me think he REALLY cares about Aerith.

And yes, I get at first Aerith thought Cloud was a lot like Zack and that's why she took an interest in him, but she literally confirmed on the skywheel date that she doesn't mind that Cloud isn't Zack, because she wants to be with Cloud.

SOME MOMENTS THAT MADE ME LOVE CLERITH:

This scene I LOVE cuz Aerith first OPENS UP TO CLOUD about her past which is super hard, and then Cloud reassures her and supports her which is so cute I think.

and THIS WHOLE FUCKING DATE DUDEEEE

Cloud at first is tense and super uneasy, but then after a while he eases up and points for things that they could do together and is so happy with her.

And the whole reason that Aerith made Cloud go on the date was so they had time before she passed away cuz she knew like T-T

And THIS SCENE MAN

Cloud's holding her like he's still protecting her as her bodyguard and cried and tried to deal with it TELL ME THATS NOT A MAN CRYING OVER THE LOSS OF HIS SOULMATE

THE WAY HE SMILES AT HER AS WELL

(ok I get that like it's creepy cuz its either her ghost or his denial yet again but he clearly loves her)

FF7 Remake 3

Ok, so I'm actually really excited/scared for the third FF7 remake, this is why (SPOILERS):

I'm interested to see Cloud realise that Aerith didn't survive, since at the end... I kinda think he was in denial that he saved Aerith, I think he made an image in his mind that he stopped Sephiroth from stabbing Aerith. I mean, he did it before, his brain made him forget Zack from all that grief which he didn't know how to handle so his brain went like 'gonna forget that to save myself from getting hurt anymore'.

He also has like a lot to discover because of how bad his mental health is.

But that's also what I'm scared about, what if they don't do it as well as the original?

And also, I'm interested to see how they do the relationship with Cloud and Tifa with Tifa grieving over Aerith and Cloud thinking she's still alive. But also I'm scared that they're gonna ruin how the relationship works so well. Because I think we all know that Cloud and Tifa are canon, I'm just wondering how thats gonna happen in the remakes.

My next post will be about Clerith/Cloti and what I think of it now, so yeah

Cloud Strife in Crisis Core not letting Tifa or anyone else (except his mum ofc) see him when he went to Nibelheim because he didn't make SOLDIER and thought that they would be disappointed will always break my heart

I love how Cloud Strife can be an absolute asshole but he's the best character in the game
