Update

Now with access to a laptop and much more free time, I have come back to this blog. 

I have a couple of pieces in the works, but please feel free to send in requests in the meantime (check out my rules first though!)

All links on the blog should now be working correctly (please let me know if otherwise!) and there is now actually working mobile navigation.

I also have a ko-fi set up now! There is no obligation to do so, but any donations are much appreciated. Stray Kids as kpop songs I want to see them cover

•Chan: Woosung - Face

This is mainly because the bass in the song made me want bass player Chan. I mean, his hands y'all.

Minho doing Handong's falsetto? Hell yeah.

I just think his rap and vocals would fit so well for this. Maybe it's also lowkey because Changbin kinda reminds me of Hanbin.

I loved writing on this blog, but lack of motivation caused by various reasons and a huge case of writers block, as well as no computer made  me unable to write or update for so long. I am slowly trying to get back into writing, though it will most probably be for much fewer groups so I dont overwhelm myself again.

Snippet of upcoming Minho x Hyunjin x Reader scenario

So I might actually be writing something for the first time in like, a year or so. And I couldn't decide between Hyunjin or Minho, so I thought "why not both". Here's a little teaser (so that people can come shout at me to finish it if I procrastinate longer than I have)

“No. They said it'll probably be midnight before it gets fixed,” you reply, smiling at your other boyfriend as he rests his chin on the side of the tub, humming slightly in reply to you. One of his hands moves to join yours on Minho's shoulder, squeezing it slightly before moving to flick the older man's ear. You laugh slightly as Hyunjin giggles cheekily, no doubt in response to the serious side eye Minho was most likely giving him for being disturbed.

“You’re such a brat,” the older sighs, though as hard as he tries to seem annoyed, it was easy to hear the fondness creeping into his voice. And his hand moving from beneath the water to entwine with Hyunjin's did absolutely nothing to hide his happiness at seeing the younger. Hyunjin just smiles innocently at his hyung, earning himself an eyeroll and exasperated shake of the head from Minho and another chuckle from you.

The air outside was cool but fresh, the smell of the approaching spring, aiding the strong afternoon sun in clearing you of the winter blues. There's a small smile on your face as you watch all the happy couples walking hand in hand around you. Deep in the back of your mind you wonder if you'll ever get to have something like that, and unknowingly your thoughts wander to the man standing beside you; Hongjoong, your best friend. You had known him for a few years, and it wasn’t long before your feelings for him had turned from purely platonic to romantic. Not that you would ever admit it; not to yourself, nor your friends and most definitely not to him. 

Of course, you didn’t really need to admit it to your friends, with them quickly figured it out themselves. And considering that those friends were the seven other boys of Ateez, of course they couldn’t just keep quiet about it. No, instead they took it upon themselves to become self proclaimed matchmakers, taking every chance they could to shove you and Hongjoong together. Which is how you found yourself with ears and fingers numb from the cold. 

Earlier that day San had proclaimed that he wanted to follow the White Day tradition and make chocolates for the members. And when Hongjoong volunteered to pop down to the nearest convenience store, of course they took the opportunity and Jongho quickly pushed you out of the door with him before shutting the door in your face, your shoes and coat quickly flying out after you (Seonghwa’s doing no doubt - at least he was a little responsible).

A nudge to your arm brings you back to Earth and your attention switches to the man next to you. Hongjoong's eyes peer out at you from beneath his cap, and despite the mask covering most of his face you just know that there is a teasing smile on his face. 

“You alright there Dolly Daydream?” he jokes, nodding in the direction of the quickly approaching store. You say nothing and just smile widely in reply, taking Hongjoong’s arm and pulling him into the warmth of the shop. 

“So did San want anything in particular, or just chocolate and pretty things to decorate?” you ask as the two of you come to a standstill in front of the extensive selection of all things sweet, specially put up for Valentines Day.

“As long as it makes a mess and is made of sugar, I don’t think he cares,” Hongjoong replies, pulling his mask down his chin. Shrugging in agreement, you follow his lead and browse the shelves, mulling over what to get. But your gaze soon strays from the food to Hongjoong. You’ve always found his side profile stunning, and that day is no different. His brows are furrowed as he reads the labels, his lips pouting slightly as he mouths the words and you don’t doubt that he is mentally thinking about what would cause the least amount of chaos back at the dorm. You find yourself wondering what it would feel like to kiss those lips.Soft, you like to think. Soft and gentle.

Before your thoughts could stray further once more, you realise that the face you were busy admiring was no longer facing the shelves but instead facing you, and the once moving lips had now stilled, forming a soft smile. Instead of becoming embarrassed upon being caught staring, a sudden burst of confidence runs through you.

“You’re really beautiful, you know that?” you say, your voice barely above a whisper. The surprise at your words is obvious on Hongjoong’s face, though he leaves no time for you to take them back before he strides forward, abandoning the shopping basket on the floor, quickly closing the gap between you. His hands cradle your face, his thumbs softly stroking your cheekbones.

Your first kiss with Hongjoong is between the shelves of a GS25. It doesn’t last long, barely a few seconds, but that’s long enough for you to understand that all your unsaid feelings were not unrequited. That perhaps all the boys’ pushing wasn’t solely to tease you, but their leader as well. That, maybe, you didn’t have to wonder if you would be like all the couples you saw on the street.

When Hongjoong takes your hand in his later that night as you sand alone in a kitchen turned chocolate war zone, you decide that it doesn’t matter if you are like all those couples or not. Because you have Hongjoong, and he has you.

I hope this wasn’t absolutely terrible, as I haven’t written anything properly in months, so I apologise if the grammar/spelling/etc is all over the place.

Warnings: mentions of death, homophobia and homophobic slurs, probably historical (?) inaccuracies, bad writing (trust me, this is one of the worst things i think i have written)

Up until the 1990′s South Korea didn’t have much going for them in the way of industries, many would say

It wasn’t until kdramas rose in popularity, alongside the suddenly ever growing entertainment industry that it started changing

Kpop became a thing and rose in popularity thanks to artists such as Seo Taiji and Boys, H.O.T, S.E.S and J. Y. Park

A fashion industry started to actually appear

Tourism in South Korea exploded causing good changes to the economy, the country in it’s babysteps towards becoming a powerhouse

Education started getting much better thanks to the government now having more money to aid it, the schools started to gain much more good repute

By the time the world had passed into a new millennium, South Korea was booming with business

Junhui and Minghao were two people who took advantage of this, and both decided to make the move from China to South Korea, hopes of making it in their respective industries the only thing spurring them on

And so it was 2003

South Korea had made it to the semi finals of the Football World Cup the year before, only being knocked out by Germany beating them 1-0

Artists such as Epik High, Buzz and Gummy debuted and started their journey in the entertainment industry

Goh Kun replaces Kim Suk-soo as Prime Minister

And Jun and Minghao met for the first time

Minghao was a college student hoping to break into the ever growing fashion industry

Jun was a dancer who made the small room of a dance studio with a promising future his stage every night

Both of them were the only ones from China in the area they lived

Jun lived in a small apartment by himself

His parents payed for half of the rent each month, the other half taken care of by Jun and his part time job at a library

But by then Jun had been in Korea for a year and his parents decided that they couldn’t support him anymore, thanks to money troubles they were having themselves

And so Jun put out an ad for a roommate who could help pay the other half of the rent, for there was no way Jun could do it himself without dropping dancing completely and taking another job, something he really didn’t want to have to do

And who should answer that ad but Minghao

Minghao had been looking for alternate accommodation for a while

He really didn’t get along with his dorm roommate and the school had told him they couldn’t move either of them

So of Minghao went, looking for apartments close by, and finally he saw Jun’s ad

So he phoned the older boy, they met up, all went well and Minghao moved in

The two quickly got to know each other and move past being simply awkward roommates, their shared heritage bringing them closer

Pretty soon they were best friends

Or at least, that was what everybody else thought

In reality, the two had started dating a couple of months after Minghao had moved in

It all started when the two got drunk in the flat, celebrating Minghao getting an amazing grade in a project

The night was a mess of slurred words in a mix of Chinese and Korean, shared memories of their home country and food covering the coffee tables and kisses

Yeah, kisses

During a particular moment of homesickness that had Minghao’s eyes turning glassy, Jun had wrapped an arm around his friends shoulders, hating seeing him upset and the next thing he knew his lips were on Minghao’s

The two froze and the fogginess disappeared from Jun’s mind as he sat back and stared at a wide eyed Minghao, terrified out of his mind

Those thoughts didn’t stick around for long before Minghao leaned in and quickly returned the favour

From that point on Jun took any private moment between the two to place pecks wherever he could reach on Minghao, who certainly wasn’t complaining

The two knew that they were boyfriends at that point, though neither of them felt the need to actually state that

Part of this reasoning was due to the fact that they knew they would never be accepted, for Korea was a very conservative place

In fact, even in the west the stance on LBGT wasn’t great

And so the two kept quiet; best friends in the streets and boyfriends in the sheets, one could say

However, somehow their secret had managed to get out

They started getting letters in their mail that weren’t addressed except for their names, obviously being delivered by hand

At first Jun and Minghao thought it was someone who didn’t like the Chinese, as they first few letters simply stated things like “Get out” and “Fuck off”

But then they started including words that definitely alluded to the sender(s) knowing of their secret relationship alongside the threats

There was even a time when somebody had spray painted the word “faggots” across the front of their flat door

Thankfully only their next door neighbour, a lovely older woman who had spent the sixties and seventies in the US and so was pretty open minded, was the only one who saw, and even helped the two wash it off

The two never took any of it to the police though, for they felt like that would just bring more attention to the two, and they probably wouldn’t get any help

Plus they didn’t think it was too serious, just childish people with too much time on their hands

In fact, by the time it was all taken seriously, it was far too late

It was early on a Sunday morning, the clock having just passed 12

Jun and Minghao were sat close together on the couch, studying Korean together

The two were too busy laughing loudly at one of Jun’s jokes that they failed to here a small commotion coming from Jun’s room, the room that had the fire escape by the window

Their laughs would be the last thing that the world heard from them before two quick gunshots rang out and the light left their eyes, the corners of their lips still turned up and hands intertwined

The news of their deaths spread like a wildfire through the community, the cold blooded double murder hitting the headlines

All those that knew the two grieved for the loss of two amazing lives, tears being shed and memories shared

The romantic nature of their relationship was never revealed and the secret would be forever kept

Just as the identity of the murderer would never be found out, for no leads were found and all too soon the case went cold

Things didn’t stay quiet for long though

The whole thing started a year after the murders, on the anniversary of Jun and Minghao’s deaths to be exact

By then the flat had been cleaned up and new tenants called the place home, not that they would for much longer

As weird things started happening around the place

Things would be moved for no reason, giggles could be heard echoing through the place, whispered conversations drifting through the thin walls despite the fact that there was nobody behind them

It wasn’t long before the people living there had had enough and moved out only to be replaced by new people

And this cycle was constantly happening

Nobody lasted in the apartment for longer than five months, everyone too scared with the unusual occurrences that constantly happened, despite nothing malicious ever occurring

Fifteen years pass of this, and the whole thing had become some sort of urban legend

The tale of Jun and Minghao’s murders was constantly whispered between teenagers telling late night ghost stories

The apartment complex had long been abandoned, the owner not being able to handle the upkeep and for a while it had been a favourite of urban explorers and fans of the supernatural hoping to experience something paranormal

That stopped when the place was eventually knocked down, a nice new office block taking it’s place

This didn’t stop the so called haunting’s though, not at all

During the process of building, workers would suddenly find their tools in unusual places, or their lunches would have bites missing, or they would come in to find that walls had been painted already despite having not done it themselves

It only escalated when the building was completed and the company moved in

And you, an employee there, took notice of all the stories, though unlike most people you didn’t brush it of as fiction

And this was because you weren’t exactly normal yourself

You see, you were a vampire

You had been turned about fifty years prior and so while you weren’t exactly newborn, you hadn’t lived for especially long when compared to how ancient some others were

Hence why you had such a normal, human job

As while you would technically live a survive perfectly fine without a roof over your head and food in your belly, you much preferred the idea of living in a nice place over being a nomad

Plus the world had made many technological advances compared to when you had actually been alive and you wanted to make the most of things like the internet and video games, and you wanted to do so legally despite being perfectly capable of just stealing all you needed

And so a job you got

As a supernatural being yourself, you were aware of other beings as well

Including ghosts

As such, you were well aware of the supernatural presences in your workplace, though you had never seen them yourself

Well, you guessed it was more than one as there were stories of two different apparitions

But beyond snickering at the people who vehemently denied there being anything paranormal to the people who claimed to have experiences, and giving the spirits a mental “good job” when they made one of the bathroom taps break and spray water in the face of the bitchiest woman on the floor, you never really payed attention to it all, instead just getting on with your own stuff

However, just because you didn’t pay attention to them doesn’t mean they didn’t pay attention to you

You see, despite the fact that they hadn’t been dead for too long when you think of how long history is, to Junhui and Minghao it felt like it had been aeons

And they got very bored very quickly, which is why they turned to doing the usual ghost stuff and haunting the living

However, as much fun as they had doing that, people always reacted the same; either they ran off screaming or shook their heads brushed it all off as figments of their imaginations

You however, did neither

Whenever they chose you as their “victim”, you had no reaction at all except for the smirk that grew on your face when they did something especially creative

And this intrigued them, so much so that it got to the point where they had a little competition going; whoever got you to react with more than just a small smirk won the rights of kisses whenever they wanted for the rest of their lives, which was a while considering they were, you know, ghosts

It didn’t take long for you to realise something was going on, that you were being singled out

As now, instead of you computer going wacky every now and again or not being able to find a pen, more dramatic things such as the instead of your paperwork printing the pieces of paper came out filled with various creepy words, your desk drawers got filled to the brim with paperclips one time, and various other things that one might have just put down to normal office pranks

Except your coworkers were much too stuck up to do anything of the sort

However, much to Jun’s and Minghao’s despair, you never did anything more than chuckle slightly and internally applaud their creativity

What they didn’t know is that they finally got your attention, and going home one day, you finally did some research to find out just who the spirits haunting you could be

And it wasn’t exactly hard to find out

The internet was chock full of stories about the tragic story of two boys who had been murdered in cold blood, and the newspaper articles led you to postings on forums about how it was believed that the two now haunted the exact building you worked in

So there you were, sipping on a cartoon of B positive in your comfiest pyjamas and laughing at how dramatic ghost hunting teens could be

Armed with this new knowledge, you went into work the next day with a skip in your step

You knew that the ghosts, Junhui and Minghao, were trying to get your attention, making you wonder if they knew that you weren’t exactly human, and so you decided that instead you would try to catch them off guard

Which is how you came to be sitting in the small janitors closet on your floor with two ghosts in front of you with wide eyes and jaws comically dropped

You see, you knew that the two would take full advantage of you being alone in a room filled with paint among other things, and so on your lunch break (which you didn’t even really need) you snuck off to the janitors closet

And much like you expected, as soon as you closed the door, the tingling sensation that you got in the back of your mind whenever another supernatural presence was around appeared, and you could here the slight clinking of a paint can being lifted up, something that was confirmed with a lightning fast glance behind you

Before the paint could be dropped onto your head, you spun round, you fangs bared in a snarl and your eyes turning a bright ruby red

The paint did end up dropping, just not on you

Instead it fell on the forms of two people who 12 hours before you had been staring at in photographs

Two forms that had turned corporeal at the shock of finding out that, no, ghosts were not the only spooky thing that existed in the world and were no covered head to toe in some off shade of white (pretty fitting when you think about it)

“Nice to finally meet you two,” you say to the two frozen boys, before introducing yourself, your eyes fading to their natural colour and incisors shrinking back to the normal size

It took about five minutes for the two to break out of their trance, at which point you were suddenly bombarded with questions, more so from who you knew to be one Wen Junhui, who after getting over the shock had become like a kid in a sweet shop, with Minghao just listening intently as you answered the many questions, eyes shining with curiosity

Sadly, it was all too soon before your break was over and you had to get back to work

And you quickly found out that while you could see them, you were the only one that could when they decided to follow you back to your desk and you answered one of Jun’s questions which gained you a weird look from one of your coworkers when they saw you talking to yourself

And don’t think that you think that you got rid of them when it was time to leave work

Because as soon as you stepped in your front door you could see Jun and Minghao sat on your sofa, the tv on and turned to a random drama rerun

And well, that’s how you somehow managed to end up with two ghost roommates

As much as you tried to kick them out, they never listened

Instead you had to put up with Junhui peering over your shoulder into the fridge filled with blood and poking at your fangs whenever you got them out to brush your teeth

And Minghao was constantly poking his head through the wall when you got dressed, critiquing your outfits and pointing out matching accessories

Speaking of which, Minghao was fascinated with your closet, or rather, the spare bedroom that you had turned into your closet

Because while you hadn’t been a vampire for too long, you had collected many clothes over that short period thanks to the trends changing constantly, and Minghao loved flicking through all your vintage items, especially the stuff from your punk rock phase in the seventies

And they joined you in your cooking show marathons, the three of you discussing your most missed foods

Pretty soon you gave up trying to get them to stop following you around

You would never admit that it was because you were growing fond of the two chinese men though, instead you told them it was because it was nice having someone who was able to act as your mirror and point out when you had toothpaste on your lip

Though you definitely softened up when they told you the whole truth behind their story

You would never tell them that if you could cry tears would have been pouring down your face, but you did pull them both into a hug - while threatening to find the person that killed him and slowly drain the life out of him like he did to them (Minghao would have agreed had it not been for the look on Jun’s face at the thought of you killing)

Weeks passed by with you, Jun and Minghao living in harmony

They followed you back to work and continued with their haunting the place while you worked, you joking that it was like that was their day job

And then they always followed you back home, or rather, appeared in your house and continued watching whatever drama they were currently on while they waited for you to travel back

They had tried to convince you to use your vampire speed to get home quicker, but you had quickly put down that idea due to the fact that your coworkers often took the same train home and it would be suspicious if you suddenly stopped

(Not that you really thought they would notice, really you just wanted a couple of moments of peace and quiet)

Not that you didn’t like them of course

You could get pretty lonely sometimes, as you tended to stay away from friendships with humans as it was inevitable that they would grow old and die while you stayed forever youthful

And so it was nice being able to grow close to people without the fear that they would eventually leave you alone once more

It wasn’t like you only tolerated them for their longevity, you genuinely liked them as people

Who wouldn’t like the awkwardly sweet Junhui with his bad jokes and even worse flirts; or the stylish Minghao with his savage but hilarious comebacks and individualistic attitude

And  it was the same for them

No longer were you just someone to cure their boredom and satisfy their curiosity, but they truly thought of you as their only friend

Or perhaps even, their crush

It was Junhui who first realised that being around you made him somehow feel warm, like he had been under a blanket for too long; and that his heart which stopped beating long ago went crazy whenever he made you actually laugh

Though of course, he didn’t attribute these symptoms to you

Instead he thought that maybe the world was trying to warn him that it was time for him to move on

Absolutely terrified that he was “dying” again, he ran to Minghao

After stopping his panicking and finally making him calm down, he got the whole story from his boyfriend and merely snorted in amusement as he came to a conclusion

“Jun, how did you feel when we first got together?” he says, and Jun then lists all the feelings he felt towards the younger boy

From that moment on Jun was especially awkward around you, not that you really noticed

Minghao was constantly snickering at his boyfriend acting like a schoolgirl with a crush and he found it especially amusing when he acted especially loving towards him, making Jun even more flustered with all the feelings

Though, with Jun now so entranced with your vampire self, Minghao found himself also paying closer attention to all your little habits and quirks

And he found himself thinking that you were, dare he say, cute

And he was so confused

Because while he could understand and was fine with Jun having romantic feelings for more than one person because that boy had so much love in his heart that needed to be shared, he had never thought that he himself would be in the same position

But there he was, reluctantly admitting to Jun that yeah, he also was crushing big time on you

As expected, Jun was ever so excited with this new revelation and after squeezing the death out of Minghao, proceeded to tease the younger boy to get him back for all the teasing he had gotten

Now that Jun had someone in the same boat as him, it gave him the confidence to show off his feelings more; to Minghao and to you

He became even more flirty and cuddly, always snuggling up to one of you or sticking his head through the kitchen wall to tell you the new pick up line he had heard the intern tell the secretary at work

Minghao was much better at hiding his feelings, acting cool and collected as always, though you did notice that he started roasting your outfit choices less

In fact, it was this which made you suddenly aware that something was different, though not necessarily in a bad way

You had spent many a year witnessing people in relationships, and while you had never been in one yourself since being turned, you had often played cupid for the humans around you and so you thought yourself as an expert in the ways of romance

That was why it only took a subway ride home one day for you to realise that the reason things felt different was because there were unspoken feelings in the air

And not just from the two ghosts living with you

Because despite having tried to deny it, you knew deep inside that you had felt something more than friendship since the night that they had told you their story

When you got home, you didn’t try to hide your feelings at all, and you didn’t try to hide that you knew of their feelings

Soon enough, it was at that point where you all knew you really liked each other but did nothing about it, not that you really needed to

Because somehow things just naturally fell into place, and all of a sudden you found yourself with two ghost boyfriends

Now during your cooking show nights, the three of you were snuggled on the sofa instead of you taking the armchair

In fact, one of the boys, usually Jun, had their arms around you constantly

Not that you minded too much despite the fact that it was annoying when you wanted to simply get up for a snack, because you had really missed the feeling of physical affection

Humans always got uncomfortable whenever she touched them, whether it was due to the fact that you were freezing or due to their primal instincts telling them you were dangerous, you didn’t know

And so having two people who didn’t care ad willingly hugged you or held you hand was a nice change, even if said people were spirits that were solid and corporeal one minute and invisible and floating through doors the next

After quite a while of living, you became bored with menial tasks such as cleaning and housework, so it wasn’t unusual to see Jun wandering around doing your laundry or trying to carry books through the wall to the bookcase in the living room, forgetting that books can’t actually move through other solid objects

And he gladly took thanks for this in the form of kisses

He was also always ogling you and Minghao and being very open with about his attraction to the two of you,always complimenting you even if you looked like trash

Though if the tables turned and you or Minghao complimented him, be prepared for shy Jun to appear with his cute grin and hands covering his would be red cheeks

Minghao, despite less obvious in his affections, is very protective of you and Jun and is always ready to throw hands for either of you

Or rather, ready to scare the lights out of anything that says anything to you (even if you could technically protect yourself just fine being a vampire and all)

There was a time where you (now ex) blood dealer was saying pretty gross things about you when all you wanted was to get that weeks food and it took everything out of Minghao to look innocent when you looked at him suspiciously after hearing the news that the man had admitted himself to a mental hospital

And although he was more reserved when it came to affection, he always had a hand on one of you, whether it be holding your hands, on your lower back when walking or on your thigh

Because none of you actually slept, one of your favourite things to do together was go out at night when most of the city was asleep and travel the streets, chatting about anything and everything

Sometimes your conversations were hilarious, the two boys sharing banter that had you in stitches or one of them would say something completely mental out of the blue that had strangers looking at you funny

Other times your conversations would be quite philosophical, talking about life, death, aliens, religion and everything in between

The two boys were also very interested in your life, loving hearing your stories about life in the different decades and in return you listened to them talk about their families and lives in China

You once offered to find out about how their families were doing, though they both refused, saying that just like their families had grieved for them, they had done and moved on from all that they lost with death

And so life went on with the three of you living your undead lives together, scaring people and laughing about it together cuddled up on a rooftop somewhere as you stargaze, one of your usual nightly activities

Because as much as the world and society would change around you, the stars were something that would remain constant

Hello again

Hi everyone! I feel like I must apologise for my long absence from this blog. It has been quite a few months since I have uploaded anything, especially regularly. It will probably be a bit until I can continue doing so, though I hope to start writing again now I have had a break and don"t feel as burnt out creatively. I swear I will finish requests someday considering they have been sitting in my inbox forever, and I have a couple of Halloween related ideas sitting in my head so hopefully I’ll actually get some stuff out this October.

Once again, I am sorry for going completely awol, especially considering I somehow reached 600 followers in that time despite being absent, which I am ever so thankful for.
