Hello! Sorry for bothering you, but I saw your post with the fanart of the barbie movie and I really loved it! Expecially because of the colors, I don't know much about art but I think that it would look great on a crop top! Do you perhaps have shop or have you ever thought about making one?

Some not so fun news happened. Conservative assholes are trying to take down Target & attacking employees for putting out pride merch.

I'd like to call on neurospicy & LGBT+ Tumblr to gather & shop at Target more often, even just for small things, if you can. If not, share this to spread the word. We need to let them know that the community stands with them & appreciates their friendly & safe pride collections.

Among the issues transphobes hate are rainbow swimsuits for kids (such a silly thing to throw a fit over) & tuck-friendly swimsuits that are intended to be inclusive for transfem people & transwomen. Harmless things that help a lot of people, but the conservatives are throwing a fit, especially in southern states.

Target has been forced to remove some products, & move the rest to the back of stores so transphobes won't see them. Transphobes have been knocking over displays & pursuing violence & aggression to workers, not just boycotting the store.

If you can, donate to or shop at Target. Remind them of the power our community holds. Remind them that conservatives are not the majority. If you can’t, share this & tell people who can. Let this spread like wildfire.

If this sweet old lady turns out to be Ruth Handler, I'm going to cry! For those who don't know, Ruth was the creator of Barbie, who was named after her daughter Barbara (the sunshine boy that is Ken is named after her son), so Barbie potentially meeting the person who is basically her mother would be really sweet! That said, Ruth passed in 2002 at 85, so either this is her ghost, a manifestation of her via Barbie's memories, or this takes place in a universe in which Ruth is somehow still alive. And considering this is already a film about a doll coming to the real world, I'd say anything is possible at this point!

even just from the trailers, you can tell how much love and thought and effort was put into the barbie movie by everyone involved. it reminds me of when i realized the lego movie’s character models had fingerprints and smudges and wear and tear on the “plastic,” or when i learned all the tricks and practical effects the crew of the wizard of oz used to have dorothy step out of sepia kansas and into full-color munchkinland in the same take, or when spider-verse came out and we saw how closely the animation style mimicked a comic book. like….yes please. more of this please.

Hot take but the gerudo vai outfit was never “sexy” to me. Even back when I was 17-18 and was still looking at botw Link like 👀.
