dear bugsnax fandom i am so sorry to inform you that i am now normal feeling abt bugsnax :(

i do love the game with all my heart, there will be a special place in my heart for bugsnax and the bugsnax fandom but i am just not as crazy abt it anymore.

so if you've been here for a while, or r just stumbling upon my blog, you may or may not know about this image which was my first post on this blog:

i made it ages ago when my friend @pastel-lady-of-angst and i were on a call. Then when i finally made a tumblr account i decided to post it.

Then later on i drew Wambus in Sakuya Izayoi's dress too keep the joke going (which is seperate from Wambus in Gensokyo as I'd like to clarify)

Dear bugsnax fandom

this is the moment atleast one of you hasbeen waiting for. the moment i reveal the small skrunkle i have been working on for a little bit.

Herberot (Her-ber-row) Theoderro Catsbee is ready to make their debut on my silly little blog.

And here they are

Catsbee is still in slight development but i do have some basic information for them.

They [think] they want to work in a scientific field, namely Forensic Sciences but their true passion is for Astronomy.

Floofty is (at the very least) someone they knew before going to Snaktooth. I still have yet to decide on their status of being aquatinted/friends or not. I do know that, as one of the few familiar faces, they decided to work (quite literally) under Floofty. i say quite literally cuz there's a hatch near the tent, that leads to a ladder that leads to a room. that room belongs to Catsbee.

Here is a full doodle page i made after i started getting their design down. Basic things like depictions of being tired and stressed as i feel a bit of their arc would involve suffering and recovering from burnout.

Some basic information to note:

They prefer to go by their last name, Catsbee. Not many people call them Herberot but the don't mind it. Theoderro/Theo is designated specifically for those who are very very close to them. so Theo/Theoderro is a no go for pretty much anyone. They identify as male but do not like using He/Him pronouns they much prefer They/Them.

a basic height chart to get a feel for how they'd look standing next to others. Their height is 5'5"

I did a little scene of them asleep in their room. Their telescope can be seen on the floor along with their vest and gloves.

more stuff of Catsbee being out of it after being a boat load of sleep deprivation.

I want to note a little thing about their original color palette here:

i was planning on making them a light lavender of sorts but one of my plans for their arc was to have them reach a point where their stress is so high they develop gray streaks in their hair. When they appeared i really wanted them to pop, so i made their coat a darker color. (Also worth noting Catsbee isn't old, they are in their late 20s and just VERY stressed). Would also like to clarify that only their last name is based of Jay Gatsby, nothing else is sadly. :(
