My MMLM Headcanons for Mr. Bump

Hi! I have been thinking of doing my headcanons for the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters. I already know that Mr. Tickle was the very first Mr. Men Little Miss character (actually the very first Mr. Man (Mr. Men character)) (ever) created (by Roger Hargreaves (back in 1971 (actually (back) on August 10th, 1971))), but I’m going to start off with my headcanons for Mr. Bump (who is my absolute most favorite Mr. Man (Mr. Men character) in the whole entire Mr. Men Little Miss franchise). So, well, here I go!

1. I already know that Mr. Bump and Little Miss Whoops are siblings, but I (strongly) believe that Mr. Bump is the younger sibling and Little Miss Whoops is the older sibling. And if they were/are twins, (I (strongly) believe that) Little Miss Whoops would (definitely) be (is ((most) definitely)) the older twin and Mr. Bump would (definitely) be (is ((most) definitely)) the younger twin by 50 minutes.

2. Although that Roger Hargreaves’ original story of Mr. Bump was published in 1971 ((or) probably (maybe most likely) published on August 10th, 1971) (as one of the first six Mr. Men books (to be/that were) published in 1971), I (strongly) believe that Mr. Bump’s birthday is (actually) November 20th. And if he and Little Miss Whoops were/are twins, Miss Whoops’ birthday would also be (is also) November 20th. (But still, if they were/are twins, (I (strongly) believe that) Little Miss Whoops would (definitely) be (is ((most) definitely)) the older twin and Mr. Bump would (definitely) be (is ((most) definitely)) the younger twin by 50 minutes.)

3. Mr. Bump is Autistic.

4. Mr. Bump stims by doing raptor arms, flapping, tapping his foot, making his arms like chicken wings (like in a chicken wing position (the way people would (when they want to make their arms like (bird) wings))), making chicken noises (such as clucking like chickens and crowing like roosters), singing, humming, yodeling, scratching with his feet (like a chicken would), gently petting animals or his stuffies/plushies, gently hugging his stuffies/plushies or his dolls, and brushing/combing and/or styling the hair of his dolls.

5. He’s the chubbiest Mr. Man (Mr. Men character) out of the round-shaped (and/or round-to-oval-shaped) Mr. Men Little Miss characters (although I already do know that Mr. Greedy and Little Miss Greedy (Little Miss Plump) are the chubbiest out of all the Mr. Men Little Miss characters).

6. If he had a full human body or if he were fully human, no matter whatever gender he is/was (even if he is/was cis-male or a male-identifying gender (and (also) regardless of if he were/was (either) transmasculine (transmasc) or/and non-binary/genderqueer/agender)), I would say that if he has/had a feminine bust (even if he had (a) chest feminization top surgery), (I think/bet that) it would be the same bust size as (APH) Ukraine from Hetalia. But if he had/has a (natural/naturally) masculine bust instead of a feminine bust)) (but only if he had a full human body or if he were fully human), he would most definitely have man boobs. (Although I would (also) (definitely) make an exception for if he had (a) chest masculinization top surgery).

7. He usually uses he/him/his pronouns, but he’s also okay with she/her and they/them/their pronouns.

8. Mr. Bump is quite a picky eater (especially (mostly) due to having texture issues and being sensitive in his sense of taste due to being Autistic). He doesn’t like any vegetable(s) (except for spinach), he hates eating meat (for example, pork, poultry, beef, mutton, etc.) (but he enjoys eating vegan bacon, veggie dogs (vegan hot dogs), and vegan Buffalo wings), the only fruits he likes are bananas and Gala apples, he hates eating seafood, he hates drinking dairy milk (for example, cow’s milk, goat’s milk, etc.) (but he does enjoy drinking vanilla almond milk and chocolate almond milk), he hates eating eggs (for example, boiled eggs, deviled eggs, raw eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, hard-boiled eggs, etc.) (but he does enjoy eating some foods in which eggs are one of the ingredients (for example, pancakes (hotcakes), cake, waffles, French toast (, maybe etc.)))), and he also prefers plain pasta (no matter the shape of pasta (although his most favorite kinds of pasta are spaghetti, thin spaghetti, angel hair spaghetti, rigatoni, rotini, ziti, and farfalle (bowtie) pasta), his only favorite kind of rice is white rice, his only favorite kind of cheese are shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced non-smoked provolone cheese, and grated parmesan cheese (although he also loves Mini Babybel Original (original flavor(ed)/Original flavor(ed)/Original Flavor(ed)) snack cheese(s)), his only favorite ice cream flavors are vanilla and cookies and creme (as long as they’re creamy (or extra creamy)), his only favorite kinds of bagels are plain bagels, sesame bagels, poppy seed bagels, and sesame and poppy seed bagels (he also can’t stand onions, especially onion bagels and everything bagels) (but he sometimes likes cinnamon raisin bagels), he prefers to use vegan butter (usually almond butter (but/and never olive oil butter)) to spread on bread, bagels, and croissants (regardless if they’re toasted or not) and biscuits (I’m talking about the flaky bread biscuits that you bake in the oven (especially for breakfast)), and the only beverages/drinks that he likes (besides vanilla almond milk and chocolate almond milk) are water, apple juice, orange juice, and hot chocolate. Also, his only favorite flavors of cake are vanilla, chocolate, half vanilla and half chocolate, and vanilla and chocolate marble. Also, he’s a fan of salty snacks (like pretzels and potato chips (Lay’s Original or Wavy (in the Original flavor)), Lay’s Stax (in the Original flavor), and Pringles (in both the Original flavor and the Pizza flavor))) and sweet snacks (like chocolate (milk chocolate, white chocolate, and dark chocolate (that doesn’t taste (too) bitter))), (milk chocolate and white chocolate) Reese’s peanut butter cups, cookies and creme chocolate (like the Hershey’s Cookies and Creme (chocolate/candy/chocolate candy) bar), and crispy chocolate (like the Nestle Crunch (crispy) chocolate (candy/chocolate candy) bar(s)), and sandwich cookies (well, only the chocolate, vanilla, and half chocolate-half vanilla sandwich cookies with the vanilla creme (filling) (especially of the Oreo brand))), and he also enjoys pumpkin seeds (with the shells), (tiny) sunflower seeds (without the shells), Gardetto’s snack mix, Cheetos (only the crunchy Cheetos and the Cheetos puffs (both) in the original flavor), (sea salt) salted roasted almonds, tortilla chips, and Pirate Booty puffed (aged white cheddar) cheese snacks. And he also loves crispy Chow Mein noodles (like the La Choy brand of crispy Chow Mein noodles) and crispy Wonton noodle chips and strips. Oh, and he also loves Chinese fortune cookies. He even regularly gets them in gift baskets whenever he gets sick or whenever he gets (badly) injured (doing something).

9. He’s not quite very robust, but he’s strong (although he’s not as strong as Mr. Strong (who just so happens to be the strongest of the Mr. Men Little Miss characters)). Also, he’s a very silly (inspired by (a (some) headcanon(s) (of Mr. Bump) by) @little-miss-cringe (on Tumblr)), very resilient (inspired by (mostly) the Mr. Men Little Miss Discover You! book “Try Again”), and very caring and kind person (in addition to being very clumsy (as in ((pretty much) even) clumsier than Little Miss Whoops or Little Miss Calamity or Mr. Clumsy)). And (just like Little Miss Brave) he also knows to stand up for anyone (and any animal(s)) who is/are (was/were) being mistreated and/or bullied or who need(s) it whenever they’re being mistreated and/or bullied. And ((also) just like Little Miss Brave), he’s not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. And ((also) like Little Miss Brave), he knows to stand his ground whenever possible, and he also knows when to stand his ground.

10. I think (bet) (that) Mr. Bump is a polyamorous pansexual.

11. Mr. Bump is also anxious and a bit socially awkward. In fact, sometimes whenever he thinks he said something embarrassing, even if no one actually heard him, he just runs away and jumps off (or falls off) the nearest ledge into a river. (This is a headcanon (of Mr. Bump) by @doobledabbadoo (on Tumblr) that I enjoy.)

12. Mr. Bump has tried working at many jobs (either most or all of them being blue-collar), but he kept getting fired due to his clumsiness causing chaos in the workplace. (inspired by (a headcanon (of Mr. Bump) by) @little-miss-cringe (on Tumblr))

13. During the numerous times he tried working at many jobs, Mr. Bump was often harmed by animals, causing him to typically avoid doing anything involving animals during that time (despite that he actually loves animals) but he was pretty much a magnet to rats, especially during that time.

14. Mr. Bump would try to woo any girls, but he’d always fail every time (like Dez from a Disney Channel show titled “Austin & Ally”), which often times resulted in him being harmed by animals. And whenever it happened during the numerous times he tried working at many jobs, it would (always) result in him getting fired (and (often) even result in him being harmed by animals). (So yeah, (I guess you could say that) he was a hopeless romantic.)

15. Mr. Bump is hardworking and responsible most of the time (even though he’s (also) very clumsy and accident-prone), but he tends to doubt himself whenever things don’t go as planned. But his closest friends often comfort him and remind him to be kinder to himself, especially during these situations. (This is a headcanon (of Mr. Bump) by @doobledabbadoo (on Tumblr) that I enjoy.)

16. Like in the original book, Mr. Bump currently (and happily) works as an apple picker. Instead of using a ladder to pick the apples, he just wanders around the orchard and bumps into the trees, which knocks apples off the trees, and he catches the apples that fall from the trees.

17. Ever since Mr. Bump was hired to be an apple picker, he has never been harmed by any animals anymore. (But yes, he’s still super clumsy!) (Also, he’s still a magnet to rats; but he’s now also a magnet to dogs, cats, and chickens.)

18. He’s currently in a romantic relationship with someone, but I’m not telling who it is. (The real reason why I’m not telling in this post whoever Mr. Bump is currently in a romantic relationship with is because everyone, including me, has their own different ideas for MMLM couples. So yeah, you have your ideas and I have my ideas, and that’s totally okay! Love is Love! Everyone can love whoever they want! In fact, we can love whoever we want!)

19. Despite being super clumsy and accident-prone, Mr. Bump is quite talented at crocheting, knitting, sewing, embroidery, and cross-stitch. (He’s also very careful when using scissors.)

20. Mr. Bump also enjoys paper dolls.

21. Mr. Bump also loves dolls and collecting dolls.

22. Mr. Bump also loves learning and studying foreign languages, especially by using Duolingo.

23. Mr. Bump also enjoys cross-dressing.

24. Occasionally, Mr. Bump has actually laid eggs.

25. Whenever given the chance, Mr. Bump has actually incubated eggs by sitting on them like a mother hen (and he’s super careful with the eggs and sitting on them (despite that he’s super clumsy)).

26. Despite being super clumsy and accident-prone, Mr. Bump is also known to be very gentle. He’s also very gentle with animals, especially baby animals, including baby chicks.

27. Mr. Bump has also hatched chicks whenever given the chance to sit on any eggs (and he’s also super careful to be very gentle with the chicks (despite that he’s very clumsy)).

28. Mr. Bump also loves to read, and he also loves books and collecting books.
