hi!! I wanted to ask which one of 1-As students you get along with the best?? like who would you say you have the best synergy with?? thanks!!

I get along fairly well with most of the other students, but Koda and Shoji are my two closest friends. 

As far as synergy goes, Dark Shadow is a versatile Quirk. I’m sure I could find synergy with every student in Class 1-A... except for one.

Today’s prompt was scarecrow! …I gotta level with ya. Today was also an update day for Pokemon Go and Team Fortress 2, both of which I play. So I rushed the HELL out of this one. If Team Fortress’ update had actually worked, I might not have drawn anything at all.

Hey Tokoyami do you like Asui Tsuyu?

Of course I do. Asui is a strong and capable hero. I’d be surprised if anyone in the class didn’t like her. I in particular have been teamed up with her for the final exams against Ectoplasm and the battle trial against Mineta and Yaoyorozu, and I feel I owe my successes in those trials to her. I truly value our friendship.

((I’m not a shipper... at all. That said, of all the ships I’ve seen, Tokoyami x Asui is probably the one I dislike the least because both characters are awesome and all the fanart I’ve seen of it so far has been tasteful.

...I’m sure once I accidentally find porn of it, I’ll hate it as much as I hate every other ship, but let’s cross that bridge when we come to it.))

Okay, two things I should tell you guys.

I hate Mineta. I friggin’ hate Mineta. He might show up on the blog from time to time, but he will never be happy on my blog. Ever. 

I got a new scanner! …which scans so well that it picks up every flaw in my inking. I’ve tried to mess around with some Photoshop filters to save it, but it just doesn’t look as good as it used to. I really wanted to keep this blog traditional art, but I might have to move to digital art.

Hopefully neither of those things are too disappointing. Thanks for following the blog!

Looking annoyed is much more likely than having a nosebleed, given that neither Dark Shadow or I have a nose.

hi tokoyami! if you don't mind me asking, what was it that made you want to become a pro hero? ^^;

There was a long period of time where I didn’t know how best to use Dark Shadow. The fact of the matter is that Dark Shadow frightens people, and people are also frightened by my affinity for the darkness. 

What was the best use for someone like me, who inspires fear?

Eventually, I saw a few particular pro heroes - the kind that are sometimes called ‘dark’ heroes. Ectoplasm, Gang Orca, Blood King… those three and others have terrifying appearances and powers, but the masses aren’t afraid of them. In fact, they alleviate fear. A person who is in danger will be calmed by the sight of a hero, even if they are a ‘dark’ hero.

I finally realized - Dark Shadow didn’t have to be a symbol of terror, and neither did I. It doesn’t matter if Dark Shadow or I appear frightening. If my actions are noble and just, people will understand that they have nothing to fear.

I followed you based on the name, then I read your posts and I think you are awesome Mod! For tokoyami, does dark shadow ever interrupt a date or when you're just chilling with your s/o / crush?

I always try to be wary when it comes to Dark Shadow. For the most part, though, socializing isn’t a problem. Though I too am more comfortable in the darkness, most date settings are well-lit enough that Dark Shadow is fairly tame.

…However, there was one incident in a movie theater that shall not be spoken of.
