There are many ways this could be not as bad as it could be, for instance the old bastard failing to actually get a lot of meaningful policy passed, or him becoming biden during his campaign. Hell, he could end up doing something so atrocious he loses his own supporters.

but regardless, this too shall pass. what matters most is you keep holding on. hell, before you know it, the overripe tangerine will be out of office. just hang in there. **staying alive is the biggest act of rebellion you could do.**

You know that thing about how the best horror has tad comedy and the best comedy had a tad horror.

Thats undertale to me. Neither the geno or true ending would hit quite right without the other. Without geno the true ending would be a really good and emotionally resident happy ending BUT it wouldnt have the same vibes of "this happy ending is your choice.

without the true ending the geno ending would just be another RPG about "isn't it kind of fucked up RPGs are all about mindlessñy killing things". Which we've had that before. OFF is one of the first to come to mind but these sorts of stories go back to the 90s. Moon: remix rpg adventure is a great example even though its arguably NOT an rpg. Its more adventure puzzle game.

This is all to say undertale would still be an incredibly resonant game without the genocide run. when do you people never touch that part of the game. but without it the games moral themes and identity would be quite different.

it resonates with me very strongly honestly, the idea that anyone can do anything, anyone can save the world. id like to hope so.
