Learn new skills
One of the obvious learning outcomes is to explore me in terms of skills and ideas. It allows me to think about what I have to do, know and equip as an animator. This means that evaluation and criteria become the basic elements of reflection and analysis. To be honest, I'm definitely not good at reflection. I seldom let myself think alone, but it's a good habit to reflect on my own and others' artifacts and technologies. In addition, it is a force to support improvement and self-study. I believe that skills can last a lifetime even at the end of a big project.
Secondly, my workflow has become more efficient in the whole module. Before the module, my workflow was very chaotic, and I didn't really deal with my animation through planning or any thoughtful method. I've just started animating the scenes I think of. In this module, I began to understand how important it is to have a good workflow and stick to it. By workflow, I mean the process I go through when making animation, and even the way I make animation. Once I started taking this seriously, I began to see how quickly I could finish some shots and how much time was left to complete the rest of the project.
During the production process, I constantly reflect, which leads me to adjust some details, resulting in that the final animation is slightly different from the original storyboard in some places. I think this is necessary to achieve a better story flow and a better understanding of what is happening. I have learned that sometimes it is necessary to deviate slightly from the original plan in order to finally achieve better results. If something doesn't look right, keep trying until it's fixed, even if it will lead to something different from what you started. It makes no sense to stick strictly to a plan that may have some defects here and there.
In short, this module has taught me a lot of skills. Even if I leave college, I will continue to use these skills. I am pleased with the way my skills have grown in the course and feel able to create more animation and further improve my skills.

Creative Decision-making
In this article, I will reflect and explain some creative decisions I made in the process of creating a project. In my last major project, I created two-dimensional interactive animation, which is based on a Chinese folk myth. This story depicts a series of stories after the heavenly daughter fell in love with human beings. One of my creative decisions was to use interactive animation instead of just 2D to animate my project. I made this choice because I believe I can make full use of interactive software because I have some experience. It also means that I will be able to convey appropriate emotions through character animation. I think interactive animation is a great tool for my target audience. My target audience is teenagers. I believe they will tend to interactive animation because they may find it more interesting to experience. The characteristics of my role are not particularly mature, so it may be more attractive to the target audience. Another creative decision I made was to use Chinese traditional culture, so it means that animation has strong national characteristics. I made this decision because it made me feel more characteristic. In addition, I want to design a painting style that impresses the audience and is different from other mainstream animation. In a word, I believe that by making these decisions, the whole animation looks more interesting and gives the audience a different aesthetic. I also believe that these decisions enable me to think outside the box and promote myself to think about new and innovative ways to create things. I believe these creative decisions are significant and play an important role in making animation look and feel more interesting and unique. I also think these decisions will help attract the audience to watch the animation and maintain the entertainment of the audience. I want to go back to this article in the future and reassess whether the audience agrees with my creative decisions. I am optimistic that they will agree and they will like the animation.

Project Management Review 5/5
Artefect = 100 %
Forefront posts = 100%
Evaluation posts (500 words)= 100%
Promotional Video = 100%
Presentation = 100%
After months of hard work, this semester is finally over. When I finished all my tasks, I began to reflect on the progress I had made so far. At the beginning of term C, I was a beginner of Maya, and I knew little about 3D animation. However, I think I'm glad that I put a lot of pressure on myself during that time. I'm very satisfied with what I finally filed. In my previous blog post, I wrote some detailed ideas about my personal learning process, creation and production process. These posts reflect that as an individual, I learned a lot about myself in the process of blogging and recording my work journey. It's interesting to read my own blog articles after a period of time. I think these articles have helped me improve my self-awareness on the whole. By writing cutting-edge posts, I have learned a lot about some of the most innovative and important things happening in the industry. Although it takes time to study and write them, I think it's interesting to really focus on what's happening. By making promotional videos, I can organize my ideas and work progress and compress all the content in less than 2 minutes. Although there is a lot of work behind, such as writing scripts, recording myself, practicing lines and editing, I enjoy watching videos myself and hope to share them with my friends, because I don't think I will release the final animation until I'm ready. So this is a great video tool to summarize. During the presentation, I had the opportunity to evaluate my own final animation and justify it with criteria that are important to me. It's another tough job, but I'm glad to review my own products and reflect my identity as an animator. In short, I am glad that I have finally completed all the tasks in this module. I realize that I still have a lot to learn in the future. However, I think I should continue to keep the habit of recording and organizing work progress, no matter what personal projects I have in the future.

Project Management Review 4/5
According to the previous schedule, I should have finished most of the work now, but I think there are too many things to deal with, so I think I'm behind the schedule again.
Looking back on my performance, I think I worked very hard and my day began as planned. However, I was unwell and had a fever the other day, so I couldn't be as efficient as I hoped. As I'm back to health now, I hope I can finish my work faster next time.
I think the reason why animation takes more time than I expected is that I overestimate my drawing speed. I need to use new software and I'm not very proficient. I spent some time practicing animation. Then I started making animation from the simplest lens,

Hybrid animation is a technology that has evolved over time. The term is used to describe the technology when a film has a combination of two or more animation types. Spine goes beyond the limitations of traditional 2D animation. One disadvantage of 2D animation is that it often makes people feel that the transition is not smooth, while in 3D games, the transition between animations can be calculated at runtime. You can even mix animations, such as half walking and half running. In 2D games, it is impossible to mix animation without spine, and the transition is usually disharmonious. Although artists can manually create frames for each possible transition, it doesn't help if the animation can be interrupted during playback.
Tumblr media
Spine brings the advantages of 3D back to 2D. The spine runtime can realize the smooth transition of animation and make the characters look more natural. Layering enables blending animation on other animations, such as playing shooting animation when a character runs, or adding more limp animation when injured.

Forefront 9/10 - Animation industry
As an independent art form, animation has developed into an important cultural industry with the changes of the times. With the development of the times and the progress of technology, the concept of "animation" has experienced countless separation and integration, but animation always integrates the dual nature of technology and art. It is a universal language without borders and the epitome of world culture. Originality should be integrated into Chinese culture and Chinese spirit. Animation is a worldwide language. Once the original is done well, it will derive many products and form an industrial chain, involving many industries such as media, publishing, clothing, software, food and so on. For example, when an animation develops to a certain stage, we will also establish a theme park like Disney to allow the audience and readers to participate in the interaction. More importantly, "original high-quality animation should deeply tap the national connotation, face the market and the future, stand the test of time, deduce the quality, nationalization and essence into the works, entertain the public, spread Chinese culture, inherit Chinese civilization and embody Chinese spirit." As a student about to enter this industry, in order to meet the industry standards, I should constantly Duan Lei myself.

2D animation tools
I wanted to use flash to make my interactive animation, but after meeting with the teacher, I changed my production tools. There is a long-term competition between toon boom and adobe. Adobe's previous animation tool was flash. However, due to many restrictions on animation production progress, many users turned to toon boom. In hard drawing style animation, two popular animation tools are cartoon prosperity and harmony and tvpaint animation. Flash is no longer favored by artists. By 2015, Adobe will stop using flash and release animate CC, an animator friendly software. As Adobe released, animate CC is very friendly to vector art brushes. Adobe animate: usually, it creates vector animation, and because of this specific style, it is targeted at different customer groups. Now Adobe After effects is also a good animation software. In contrast, Adobe Animate is more suitable for making what you think is a traditional "cartoon". It provides the function of hand-painted frame by frame animation, as well as the limited animation that can change each part of the character, and the puppet animation that can put out the character device without redrawing This is related to my practice. Compare these software and choose the most suitable one for me to make my project.

Forefront 8/10
The swallow in Kabul (French: les hirondelles de Kaboul) is an internationally CO produced animated film in 2019, summer 1998 - Kabul under Taliban rule. Zunaira and Mohsen are young and in love. Despite violence and pain every day, they hope for a better future. One day, a foolish act made an irreversible change in life. Dominic Hoff said, "if animation can arouse intimacy and universality through the lightness of lines and the touch of color, and reveal taboos at the same time, we should reward the swallows in Kabul because of its theme power and artistic power."

The graphic rich 2D watercolor style, the poetic and memorable power of animation make up for the sometimes forced and predictable dramatic plot. As a medium, animation is very suitable for this adaptation; It is almost impossible to shoot in the form of a live novel or location. Here, these pictures quickly convey the content that needs several pages of description and dialogue to express in the novel, whether it is Mosen's memories of the good times in the cinema, the delayed shooting of hand-in-hand couples in suits, or when s é Bastien pouderoux, Atik's ruthless Taliban boss, wandered in a brothel, His long legs caressed the young girl he was holding. Particularly striking are various subjective shots taken from behind the eye mask of the robe, as well as a climax scene in which a man stares at the mesh barrier from the other side, trying to find his wife's eyes.
