The whole thing has me enchanted, to be quite honest with you, the visual impact of it left me reeling. I sometimes forget what it's like to look at an artwork and just stop and stare and think "wait, this is Art." So thank you for that.

what brushes do you use my liege...

mostly default procreate brushes!

inkbleed and inka for my lines. syrup for blocking out big color areas. inka and the smudge tool for rendering shadows and highlights. tinderbox and smudge tool for digital painting.

in the latest illustrations posted, especially the disco elysium ones, for the shadows i leave a hard line of darker color against the lighter color and then i blend it outwards with the smudge tool. i also make the colors pop by adding a flat full color layer on top of all the others and then fooling around with the blending mode of the layer and its opacity to see what works best.
