I work as an animator in the anime industry!
The first thing I need to do for LO (Layout; the process animators in Japanese animation do) is perspective.
I made a tutorial on the Clip Studio Paint tools that make my job efficient (or possible even)
Check it out:

Animate DTIYS with tutorial!
Meet Petals and Antenna 🌸 🍃 I’m hosting my first DTIYS challenge, aimed at 2D animation beginners or illustrators who want to try animation, check out the tutorial!
(The main challenge is on Instagram, but of course, you can share it here too! Though I gotta be honest, I still don't know exactly how Tumblr works, so I may not see it, but tag me or send a message or something please! And I'm sorry I feel so boomer lol).
Guidelines - Animate (or draw) Pet and Anty (one or both) - You can follow the tutorial or make a crazy sakuga, however you want! - I’ll share them until June 15th
With all the AI stuff going on, I am in a pretty bad mood regarding art; so much disrespect toward artists is disheartening. To counteract that, I decided to host my first challenge with an animation approach! Starting 2D animation can be daunting, hopefully this challenge and tutorial gives you an easy introduction and gets you pumped about what you can accomplish!
Cheers 💕

(I think it's also important that ai has made it hard for artists to draw characters with hand disabilities. My friend was born with 2 fingers almost claw like, my teacher had 3 on one hand, and my high school classmate had backwards hands (she had to use her wrists to write and was in a powered wheelchair because her feet were the same). I feel like people should be careful how they word hand deformalities. I understand that ai does that but i hope people keep those who lost fingers or part of their hand, or born with certain amount of fingers are respected. I can't even tell you how i've seen lots of rude remarks about have deformed hands. I understand ai, yes yes yes. Check the hands yada yada. But we need to becareful how we word this.)
You raise a great point. It’s not meant to disrespect people, I’m sorry if it came out as offensive.
I think the protest’s purpose is to demonstrate that AI is not capable of representing humans in all their extent, and now that you made me realize, specially humans with unique details.
A human can draw different hands or hands with disabilities in a respectful way, a character can be designed taking those details into account, on purpose. AI wouldn’t even be able to draw special hands since it can’t draw a standard hand.
It’s another reason to support human artists and regulate machine learning technologies that are taking advantage of them and misrepresenting real people as well.

Technology needs regulation!
We must protect our art and jobs, our faces and voices (literally), our data and identities. The fight continues!
Animation I started in December when artists shared protest pieces against AI, I had time to finish it until now.
So much has happened since, several lawsuits (yay!), but much more exploitation against women and big productions using (almost useless) AI images. So yeah, the fight continues.
I livestreamed a bit of the process in my Youtube Channel, I will finish the animation and probably live stream some of it too, so subscribe if you're interested!

May I use your anatomy animations for my students? I teach elementary art and I have a few 8th grade students who could really use these. Asking for permission to post the link on my Google Classroom. Will send you the link so you can see what is posted. - Peg Goodwin
Of course! I’m glad you find them useful :)
